Don't be deceived by the photos you see. This property is poorly maintained. The rooms are very untidy and pool is polluted than the water in the lake. Never go here if you are going with family. They will curse you for taking you there. Update after the owners reply! 1. We mentioned that the pool is not clean and the rooms has foul smell. On checking old reviews for this property, anyone can see that this issue is not being reported by us for the first time. Check out poor reviews as old as 2 years saying the same issues i have mentioned in this post. 1.1 It is clear that the owner of this property ignoring the fact that the rooms and pools are not maintained and clearly understaffed. Instead of being a humble host, this owner is playing arrogant and not accepting any criticism about their property. 2. This property might have received some guests who adjusts to all the shortcomings of this property and leaves without complaining. But i guess they have taken it for granted and just wants to continue without improvement. 3. We had informed the reception that we are cancelling the booking and wants to return immediately. And we have not used the rooms afterwards. We were all waiting outside in their open area to get the booking refund sorted out. 4. The amount refunded was the commission taken by the travel agency through which we booked the property. So they have not done anything from their part to compensate the difficulties we had because of booking this property. 5. I am reviewing my experience with this property and i guess the owner doesn't want this to be public. We had a very bad experience here. As we arrived here and found out how pathetic this property was. We immediately wanted to leave from here. But i had paid an advance and they kept us there until evening and we left without getting advance back. We felt like we were cheated.

Though it's situated in place where very nice scenery ,room conditions not that great , It's dusty and needs good healthy cleaning. Entrance to upstairs situated back side of hotel where it's very smelly and not clean .better if they can change it Staff were very helpful, and so is the manager ,

Wonderful spot to spend weekends. Well mannered staff, Good food, Good ambience. You’ll have a pool. Away from the town and all rushes, you can have a wonderful time and view. You can kayak and enjoy sunrise from here.

We have just left the place with pleasant memories. The room, management and the staff are really very good. But in my opinion, food takes the cake! Such excellent taste, variety and quantity! The staff is eager for you to taste everything. I am loving it!

We had a poor experience with the staff at their restaurant; we ordered Karimeen Pollichathu, but it was really stale and was also beginning to smell bad. Although the scenery and ambiance are excellent, several of the rooms were not cleaned adequately and had an awful scent. Despite having poor management, the location is really good.

First visit to Alappuzha and we skipped staying on house boat for few reasons and ended up in this hotel from a travel agent. Very unique experience and loved it. Took boat to reach out from road and the views are stunning. Unfortunately we did not stayed more days but missed using the swimming pool and other facilities. Hotel staff was great and able to accommodate our request and even packed breakfast for us as we are leaving early at 7 am. Will recommend for both couples and families.

I am still wondering how the people given 5 star.Some of them are given best review regarding the bad experience. Its 100% correct. Nothing is there. Rooms are old and not that much clean. No other activities. Photos showing is different from the actual. No kettle or nothing is provided. Its not a resort,some ayurvedic treatment area only. Kindly prefer other options.

Went to the resort to get treatment for my back pain caused due to a fall .Have to say it was an amazing experience. I feel really great. The staff was super welcoming and the food was amazing too…Highly recommending to anyone who wants to try the best ayurvedic treatments FYI … they also provide chiropractic treatment too❤️

Very serene place for a weekend stay. The calmness of the backwaters and the greenery of the paddy field behind the resort gives such a positive energy. The whole property is like an island on the backwaters and we reach there on their boat. The staffs are so friendly and the food is just amazing.

The scenery was beautiful, the food was good. But the room maintenance was a bit poor as a light in our room didn't work and there was a tear in the sheets. The staff were really friendly. Overall it is a good place to visit. To reach the resort you need to go by a boat which was a fun experience. They do provide parking.

We stayed for 2 nights and stay was really good. Natural beauty is covering rooms and just 10 steps away is backwater which makes this property awesome. Staff was also courteous and available to help any means possible.

I stayed here with my family for 2 days and 1 night. The stay was very peaceful as this property is amidst the nature. The food here is too good and the staff are very courteous, considerate and at service anytime. A must visit property for a relaxing holiday.

If you are going to this hotel contact the management or search for The green palace car parking .The location of the hotel needs to be updated or the Hotel management needs to share the hotel transit info to customers. We cannot directly go to the hotel on Road which google shows. We need to go to lake point from where there will be a boat provided by hotel management to take us to the hotel. We have faced this issue and we were travelling at night 8 without this knowledge. The hotel is very good and it is centrally located in the lake with scenic views. The food is good but the service can be improved as they provided food which was cold after 2 hrs of our order time. The rooms provided to the car drivers is not good and there is no other option as this hotel is located very far from the town.

Best resort i have ever stayed, in such budget. Foods people ambiance are perfect. Manager and staffs are super cool.. this manager can manage anything. He deserves a raise.
