Amazing and worthy experience. Witnessed a beautiful sunset sitting on the kayak. It was around a 4 hours ride with rest stop(s) as per our requirement. Kayaking through the narrow water ways was my personal favourite. It also gets exciting and adventurous when a bus boat passes by. It's a little tricky at first. Then you'd get a hang of it. A guide will accompany you in a separate boat. In case anyone gets tired, he joins your boat and give a ride back. They also provide shikara ride which costs 600 an hour. Stopped at a restaurant (ridiculous price for very average food). I would suggest to bring your own food. A good trip.

Wonderful experience! We were kayaking for the first time, they were very helpful and guided us through it at every turn. It is a slow and fun ride for around 2 to 3 hours, with beautiful views and ended with the sunset view. Lots of fun. Recommend to anyone considering kayaking.

My experience was not good. They charged me more money then told. The person who arranged my Kayak ride told it was 500. When I completed and paid my dues they told for single person it is 750. That thing ruined my whole trip . I have great experience in Kerala but this thing breaks my trust. I do recommend but you have to be extra conscious while booking so that you don't pay extra.

Johnson is friendly and helpful. They had kayaks and jackets in good condition (although jackets can be beeter washed and kept). The early morning Kayak was amazing and the team took us to a place with small canals and local residents. Would recommend these people for tourists and friends. Paid 1k/person for Kayak.

Oscar Cruise boat service was professional and the voyage was breathtaking! My cousin and I used the kayaks and our tour guide made the experience quite enjoyable. He was even patient with us with all our picture taking. Would highly recommend locals and foreigners to try them out.

Did canoeing and kayaking with Oscar cruise, most amazing experience. Great people, helpful and polite. They gave us the best rates. Day 1 was canoeing which we did from 10am-3pm, lunch included. Must do!! Day 2 was sunrise kayaking, wonderful experience. Another must do.

A must try out activity in the backwaters. An experience you dont wamna miss out on, The guys are awesome and will take you through one of the most scenic and picturesque route. Also not to miss the fresh fishes and coconut dishes at the backwater restro. A professional photographer will guide you through this amazing journey through the backwaters!

We had a wonderful experience kayaking on the lakes and canals of Alappuzha. The guide was very good and explained how to Kayak. He guided us well to remain still when large govt boats were passing as that caused large waves. It's a memorable experience for people without any prior experience. We also did not know swimming. You don't need to know swimming as we were given a life jacket each and we found kayaking absolutely safe. Everyone needs to try kayaking as it's a green way to explore the backwaters.

I went on this shikara ride with Captain Rahul. He gave us a warm welcome and hosted us really very well. He is also a passionate photographer. Took really good photos and videos just like pre wedding but also solo photographs.

This will probably be the most memorable part of our Kerala trip. Rahul, our shikara guide, turned out to be an excellent photographer too… very calm, polite and customer centric. He even offered to hold our baby so we could have our lunch peacefully. Such humble behavior is highly appreciated. I would definitely revisit to have this experience again in future.

The sunrise kayaking experience was amazing. We went with our parents. The ride was very adventurous and safe at the same time. My mom and dad complete the entire kayaking tour on their own and we’re very proud and happy to do so.

Wow wow wow wow wow. As a solo female traveller I could not have felt more looked after than I did with this team! Great communication in getting me to find their hub, a wonderful experience sunset kayaking, and they even got me back home directly to my door because we ended after dark! Just superb customer service. The full kayak trip across the lake and into the canals is magical - such beauty, and every part of it explained so well by Johnson the guide (who actually looked like a deity and was just wonderful in himself!), he knew everything about this local history, the people, the boats, the nature, we stopped for chai, he fully directed us safely and watched our every move. Can not recommend these guys enough - they're really really great.

They are brilliant the entire team. Very friendly with giving us the best possible Intel on what to do and where to go during the shikara ride. We took shikara ride in Alleppey backwaters and travelled in water for almost 5 hrs. Entire trip was very good and the guide is very calm and we had very good time. They suggested what is best to do here and we loved the entire experience. Thanks to the staff who gave us brilliant suggestions to explore near by Alleppey which made our trip experience much better.

We've booked sunrise kayaking and canoeing ride, it took 4 hours for kayaking and unfortunately we got late for canoeing, organizers failed in planning and communicating and we missed our canoeing boat, they arranged some other small boat which is little old... the journey through the backwaters and canals was amazing and in the afternoon it got very hot. we missed the toddy experience but we reached the lunch spot on time, lunch was decent it's local Kerala home style food, rice is little big compared to Andhra style rice but experience is good. the family is also sweet. after the lunch they dropped us near jetty stop and we left to main part of the town. i suggest to carry some snacks and water in the morning, get extra pair of clothes incase if you get wet while kayaking.

I went for the backwaters in Alleppey through Oscar Cruise. They did a wonderful job in making my experience memorable! I did the sunset one with my parents and we stopped in between to grab a cup of coffee/tea and for bathroom breaks. The staff was helpful and friendly, I would recommend them again.

This was a magical experience at kuttanaad. We chose a canoeing experience as a couple, the owner was so kind to accept our request at the last minute. The price was reasonable (1500 rs pp ) and the experience we got was just stunning. A delicious naadan lunch was also included.

It was a nice experience And the guides were friendly and funny. Cost per head was ₹300 We booked the afternoon slot which was a great mistake 😂 and resulted in having sunburns even though we enjoyed to the core Whereas the sunset and sunrise slots would be perfect, with beautiful shades of the sun We went as a group of 46 , most of them in a single person boat/ kayak and others were given double person boat/kayak Over weight persons were insisted to take on double person boats/kayak It was a whole new experience , instead of house boats this also can be tried, life jackets will be provided, so there is no issue in safety. It will be a physically exhausting activity some may not find it too easy. Give it a try and experience a new thing 😌

I went for sunrise kayaking with my family of four. One of the best experiences during my time in Kerala. The sunrise was beautiful and kayaking along it was my favourite way to experience the backwaters. Would highly recommend it for all ages and fitness levels. My 60+ parents were able to manage it without too many problems, and the guides were very helpful.
