As one would expect from such a property, the service, for the most part, was excellent. They were able to provide a car from Cusco to the hotel with a driver, Edgar, and a guide, Wily. It was about the same time and cost as flying (there are no longer direct flights from Cusco; they all go up to Lima) and we had the benefit of seeing a number of archeological sites along the way as well as the delightful scenery. It was a looooong day with the drive but it was the best way from A to B. The room was very nice and had a view of the lake. The bed was comfortable and the bath tub was deep, the water hot, and they provided muña infused bath salts. As the weather was on the coolish side, the bath was nice. The meals were interesting and delicious and way too much food. The included excursions were a mixed bag but mostly due to weather. Our guide, Wily, was very knowledgeable and informative about the various sites. The excursion to the floating island and Tequlie island seemed a bit Disneyfied. The hotel owns the one island and the house where we had lunch on Tequlie. The information was interesting but it made me wonder how authentic the lifestyles were. The only downside was on the last day. We were the only guests in the hotel. We went downstairs for breakfast at a reasonable 7:30 and there was not a soul to be found. No one anywhere in the building. The hotel is out in the countryside, not isolated but remote. It was a little terrifying for what if something had gone wrong? One of us had a health issue? While nothing did, the experience seriously detracted from what I had originally thought of as excellent and top notch service.

I’ll start by saying I only stayed for one night because I was on a tight travel schedule, however it was so amazing and the service went above and beyond. We were picked up at 6am by Titilaka’s driver from another hotel because we wanted to do a Uros and Taquile Islands tour. That day there was a local protest blocking all roads to the resort, so Titilaka chartered a boat from Puno marina to get us to the rest of the tour group. After the tours, we settled into the resort. It is ALL inclusive - tours, food, transport, drinks, snacks, you name it. It was about $1,300 for one night but if you break down the food, drink and tour costs separately it’s a good deal for the location. Food was incredible and the informational tour sessions in the evening were great - highly recommend star gazing!! I would 100% go back and for more days next time. Don’t let the price scare you, it’s worth it.

One morning a staff unlocked our door and came inside the room at 8am even though we left the do not disturb sign outside (there was no lock or safety latch on the inside) while we were still sleeping and not exactly decently dressed. When we went down for breakfast 10 minutes before 10am (when breakfast ends) they also cleared all the tables and were halfway through clearing the buffet even though we haven't eaten or checked out yet.

We staid three nights at the hotel Titilaka in Puno and it was one of the best time of our trip in Peru. The hotel is located in a very peaceful location and has the best possible views on the Titikaka Lake. It is a beautiful villa that has 18 rooms so it isn’t too busy. Staying there is the perfect choice if you are looking for a impeccable service, gourmet dining experiences, a luxury setting and authentic excursions in the local communities. They do their best to offer the most qualitative possible experience to their guests and it was for sure the most amazing lodge I have ever staid at! I would highly recommend visiting Titilaka Hotel. It is a magical experience that is offered there !

I had the incredible opportunity to stay at this property during my recent 10-day adventure across Peru. It's safe to say that this place is a true gem, one of the most breathtaking locations I've had the pleasure to visit. The staff here are absolutely outstanding. I have to give a big shout-out to Albert and Willy, who were fantastic guides. Their deep understanding of local culture and traditions really enriched our island tour and visit to the nearby portal and ruins. The hotel's restaurant is beautifully designed, and the view from the dining area is simply spectacular. The food was top-notch, and spending time there, especially with the cozy aperitifs by the fire, was definitely a highlight of our trip. The attention to detail in our suite was seriously impressive. From the small heaters that the night staff brought in, to the range of snacks and drinks in the room bar, everything was designed for our comfort. It made us feel really taken care of. We also had a lot of fun with the activities on offer. The cycling tour with Willy was a blast, and he even helped me get some amazing shots in the local village. In summary, my stay at Titilaka Hotel was an unforgettable part of my Peruvian adventure. I'm grateful for the exceptional service and memorable experiences provided by the dedicated team. I'm looking forward to my next visit and creating even more treasured memories.

This was truly a magical hotel, looking out into the beautiful peaceful, inspirational and very spiritual Lake Titicaca. The room was fabulous looking out onto the lake and getting the morning sunrise each day! The food and drinks were excellent. The staff very friendly and provided impeccable service. The tours offered were educational with expert guides in archaeology and culture of the lakes inhabitants. We truly enjoyed the stunning views from sunrise to watching the sun sets. The hotel manager spoke with us making it a very inviting and caring environment. We definitely would recommend this hotel which is a 5 star rated gem!

We stayed 2 nights in the resort in Sep, 2023. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommended the resort to people who want to visit Lake Titicaca. # Location The resort is NOT in Puno but further south. It is about 1 hour from Puno and 2 hours from Juliaca airport. The resort does provide complimentary train station / airport pickup & drop-off, but it does add some overhead when getting in & out of the resort. Being in a remote location also has benefits: (1) The resort is on the beach, and there is a lagoon nearby. The lake view is fantastic and environment is very serene. We enjoyed every minute in the resort. (2) The resort is about 45 mins boat ride from Taquile island. We took the day trip, and it took 90 mins from the resort to the floating island, 90 mins from the floating island to Taquile, and 45 mins from Taquile back to the resort. So in total 225 mins boat ride can take you to both floating island and Taquile. I guess it is a similar amount of effort if you want to visit both the floating island and Taquile from Puno. # Room & Facility The room is spacious and well equipped. Our room has the superb lake view, and I was able to watch the sunrise from the bed. It is also very quiet at night and we had good sleep during our stays. The resort also has many common areas with comfortable sofas, couches, and great views. We spent some time enjoying coffee, tea, and snacks in the common areas. # Service The service is top notch. The great experience started from the train station pick-up, where the resort not only provided a driver, but also an English-speaking guide. They also accommodated us to visit a local pharmacy to buy some supplies. The van is also well equipped with hot towels and bottle water. The excursions were also great. We took a 8-hour boat tour to visit the floating island and Taquile. The resort has their own boats, captions, and guides, and all excursions seem to be in small groups (~5 guests with 1 caption and 1 guide). In the floating island and Taquile island, we had similar demonstrations from the local people (as other larger groups), but the experiences feel more VIP due to the smaller group. We had lunch in a local restaurant on Taquile. The view was fantastic, overseeing both sides of the island. Being vegetarians, we were initially concerned about the food, but it seemed that the resort prepared and transported the food to the restaurant, and thus the food quality is very similar to the resort. # Food We are vegetarians. The restaurant is a la carte style and they changed a part of the menu every day. They have plenty of vegetarian options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is quite delicious and delicate, very comparable to the best restaurants in larger cities such as Cusco.

Stayed here a year ago and it was absolutely fantastic. Worth noting is that this hotel has the best soufflé I have ever tasted. The French can eat their heart out but this is another level 🤩

What more can you ask for. The magic is in the coordination with the nature, the staff and the facility. One of the most special places I have ever been to. But I was suffering a bit with the altitude on my first day. It gets better on the second.

Just outstanding! We were really impressed by the place, by the attentive staff, by the service, by the quality of the food. The rooms are with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff is reading your wishes basically from your eyes. Everything you can think of, is provided. All activities, even special private activities, are included: we had a craft workshop for our kids doing "pompoms" with a lady from the local community. And our guide Sandro was just great, knowledgeable and very helpful.

I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in the corner suite which I highly recommend. The views of the lake are outstanding as you can see both the sunrise and sunset from this room. The rooms are well appointed and super cozy. The staff at this property are just incredible. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The food is delicious, drink selection is nice, and the excursions are fantastic. By far, the most relaxing place I have ever stayed at. We stayed here after trekking through Bolivia and a 7 day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu. The perfect spot to unwind and recharge. If you plan to come to Puno, stay here. It is worth every penny.
