(Translated by Google) A must visit. It's paid. And you can hire a guide in the museum itself. I suggest the guided tour. It is in him that the mummies of Sillustani are in a special hall. And the gold pieces. In addition, there is plenty of history to discover. And the house is beautiful. If this has been useful, give it your like, leave your little one. Sugiro a visita guiada. E a casa é linda.

(Translated by Google) This museum is not large but on its two floors a range of photographs of Don Carlos Dreyer as a pioneer is concentrated helping and preparing indigenous people as well as oil paintings of history without forgetting huacos, garments, accessories, invaluable utensils, etc. With only five soles to enter, we go to the museum !!

Best museem i have seen in Peru ! The guides are very friendly and have a deep knowledge and love for the cultures of Puno, Peru. The museum guide explained about the chulpas better than our guide at Sillustini . There about 6 different cultures throughout time that roamed this area. The two main cultures are quechua and aymara. Aymara is pre Inca while quechua is often referred to as Inca, but Inca means emperor in quechua . Our guide was great at answering all our questions . There were some Northern Peru items there as well. And some unique items from subcultures of the quechua . Entrance is 10 soles per adult or 3 soles per student. That is about $2.50 - $0.74 in US dollars. Puno is the birthplace of the Ayamra and Inca / Quechua cultures. The feeling is faintly similar to Cusco but is very different and very special. The Uros tribe is also a unique tribe who lives if floating islands originally to avoid spanish, Inca, and other empires and waring tribes. Come visit Museo Carlos Dreyer ! It is close to the plaza.

(Translated by Google) Visit it only if you have nothing better to do. The entrance fee is 15 soles for foreigners and 10 soles for students. You will find paintings about the daily life of Puno during the first half of the 20th century and a room dedicated to Sillustani, here there are jewelry and some very well preserved mummies. In other rooms there is colonial art and religious art. Various objects such as vessels, fabrics and various objects.

(Translated by Google) Entrance to 15 soles. You can find it next to the cathedral of Puno which overlooks the main square. Not very big but with very well preserved finds; both Inca and pre-Inca. Great (Original) Ingresso a 15 soles. Fairly interesting museum with some pieces we didn't see elsewhere. The English translations were a bit rough, but overall I think worth the 15 soles entrance price.

The museum boasts an impressive collection of artifacts spanning different periods and cultures. The exhibits include a diverse range of artwork, historical artifacts, and interactive displays. One notable exhibit was the ancient pottery collection, which offered a comprehensive look into the craftsmanship of the region's indigenous peoples.

Really great place to visit, sadly the guides don’t speak English, and not all of the exhibits have English. My Spanish is more or less, but if your Spanish is better it’s worth it.

This is the best museum in Puno, hands down, and is largely due to the fact that it is administered by a private organization beyond the reach of the corruption and incompetence which largely plagued public institutions in Peru. Good for a 90-minute visit if the traveler is in Puno for 2 days or longer.

(Translated by Google) It is good if you have free time in Puno, there are no exposed mummies as suggested by the street sign (quite misleading), but it still has a lot of historical material.
