The resort is excellent all around, with top class service, amazing rooms and amenities! My reason for 3 stars - I approached the excursions desk to see what was available and was completely turned off by the fact that “Swimming with Dolphins” is an option. Marriott Bonvoy, it is 2022! You should know better than to promote and exploit nature and animals for profit in this manner. Your rooms have signs that say you care about sustainability and tell us to reuse towels. How about you walk the walk and show that you truly care about sustainability? Show the world that you will absolutely not profit off the abuse and decimation of wildlife and ecosystems. And please tell me you don’t promote elephant riding, tiger petting and other exploitative practices in other parts of the world. I would like to see you publicly take a stance against atrocities of this type. You owe it to the communities in which you operate! Do better, Marriott!

If I could give negative reviews I would. Please do not ignore the poor reviews of this hotel it’s entirely accurate. We read them. Ignored it because we liked the location. And it is not worth it even if it was free. Had a scary experience here. Long story short… Setup hotel transportation to and from a casino. Cab driver left the property, couldn’t get back in to pick us up. Security forced us into a random cab and claimed to take us to our driver but instead locked our doors and windows and wouldn’t let us exit. We paid $140 to get back to our hotel. Scared for our life. At the expense of this hotel emotionally and they called my scary night an inconvenience and did nothing. In fact their communication was so poor I had to relive that terrifying night on 3 separate occasions for them to do NOTHING. We changed our flight and left early. Staff is lazy. Wait times as absurd. No one is friendly or accommodating. No one greets you with a smile. Construction all day had we known a peaceful beach would be accompanied by power tools and banging on metal we would have cancelled. Housekeeping did not re stock anything. Didn’t even bother to pickup anything. Rooms were grimy. Beds were not heavenly. Photos are misleading. If you want a drink or food at the pool or beach go get it yourself because they won’t go to you. Do not stay here. SO many resorts and this is not worth the money!!! Waited 17 minutes for WATER at dinner that they charged us for. Ordered a salad and fries no alternations to their menu. Forgot the fries. Brought them out when we were done with dinner and already waiting for the check. That’s how long it was. Worst experience I’ve ever had.

I generously give this hotel 3/5 and I think it’s Marriott’s biggest embarrassment. We had to call Marriott ambassador service for basic items like water, coffee, cleaning, and towels that were supposed to be provided daily. They reacted quickly but were bringing only decaf coffee and water for purchase (it’s supposed to be free). When I was ordering room service the person on the phone said that I had already ordered something and they were preparing it. When I told him that I didn’t order anything he became upset and put me on hold. He eventually stated that they had a problem to resolve and he would call me back. Of course he never called me back. The hotel has a beautiful beach and a nice pool. The place was not overly crowded. Food was decent but options were limited-pool menu, room service and the restaurant on the beach offered the same limited items. I had grilled vegetables, cassava croquettes, and fish tacos all week. We never went to the other restaurants because they required reservations and were not easily accessible. The hotel provided free transportation and admission to the ecological reserve which was a nice experience. Overall, Dominican Republic is a beautiful country with people who are too lazy to think.

The only thing that the hotel cares about is profit maximization. There are barely any facilities or activities by or near the hotel. The food options are very slim and the food itself is overpriced and quite poor. The pool area is decent. the location is solid as it is near the beach. The staff simply do not care about the well-being of their customers. At the restaurant, you will see 15 workers standing by the bar talking while you are waiting for basic service... 75% of the employees are relatively rude and will not acknowledge you. Furniture in the rooms is outdated, the TV is at least 12 years old and probably doesn't have a signal and if it does the image quality is terrible. There is very little transportation to and from the hotel so you are forced to pay 25$ + to a lousy taxi driver. All in all, would definitely not recommend staying at this hotel or honestly the Dominican.

My family and I spent our 2019 Christmas at Westin Punta Cana. It was a marvellous experience. Located right next to a private beach and about 15 mins from the airport, it was easily accessible. Westin's staff was polite and friendly, and we were treated to a variety of board games, beach football, volleyball and ping pong games. We also had our Christmas dinner there which was a sumptuous buffet. Highly recommended and will return!

Nice standard room. Great service. Seaweed too much when there. Pool very nice. Best thing was free included lagoons trip - which after living in DR for 2.5 years, visiting many places - was coolest thing ever. Unfortunately we learned they are going charge $80 tourist /$40 locals moving forward. Were it not for this, our trip wasn’t worth it since seaweed so bad we couldn’t get in water. Management should rethink this. The steakhouse and food and beverages on site - ridiculous prices. Avoid. Go to town. If they charge the lagoon, I won’t go back. Overall, standard room nice pool

I was very excited to come and stay at The Westin. I soon leaned that the staff excepted a tip for everything. I know that a lot of their people that live in poverty but expecting a tip for doing your job turned me off. Also the 18% tax rate was another big turn off. There were no microwaves or refrigerators in the room because they want you to spend money at the hotel. I called to ask about snacks in the room and the cost. I was given a price list that amount to $320.00 plus a 28% tax rate. I wonder what happen to the 18% tax rate. It appears The Westin charge whatever tax rate they want to. All of this was a complete turn off for me. I will not be returning.

Pros: A great location, close to the Punta Cana airport, a beautiful beach, nice big pool area, friendly and accommodating staff. Cons: the food options are limited to two spots and the service at the beachside cafe definitely runs on island time. I’d also avoid the fish tacos and the tzatziki. The rooms are nice. The price per night is a bit high for the DR. Overall- a beautiful property, right on the beach, a great pool for relaxing, nice staff, decent food and rooms.

The Westin made myself and my sister feel like royalty. It was my first time spending my birthday out of the country and everyone made my 29 birthday extraordinary. The food, ambiance, workers, overall vibe and energy of the property was amazing. The chef Christian made sure to checkin with us every night after each meal to gain feedback. Thomas- He was our baggage carrier and he was simply a pleasure to be around. I cannot say enough nice things about this kind, warm, loving gentleman. It’s safe to say, I had a great time saying at this resort. The security was top notch as mentioned by other reviewers and I felt safe during my stay. Thank you for having us Westin and we look forward to visiting again.

For starters the food was horrible, we expected a much higher level of cuisine for this resort specially for what the restaurant charges as well as more variety and options. The food was comparable to that of a hospital kitchen. My wife ordered a cesar salad for lunch with chicken ($10 add on) and it wasn’t even a chicken breast, it was deli sliced chicken. When a cesar salad is already $20 and its an extra $10 for chicken it easily assumed it will be of quality. We dined out of the hotel for the remaining nights because all other items tried on the menu were flat out unpleasant. The breakfast was also a huge letdown, when the mangu(local Dominican dish) is bad its hard to have any hope for the other food available. Nonetheless we tried and were dissatisfied. Second, the service. The service was a hit or miss depending on who you got at a bar or restaurant. Frank at the pool bar was excellent, almost everyone else not so much. When we brought up concerns of food and the chicken as mentioned earlier it was just brushed off as “thats just what we got”. Many times we had to get the attention of waiters for refills or condiments as they never check in and having to follow up because they would forget. Many times during breakfast and lunch waiters would bring the check before we were even done with food or orders, felt rushed. Waiters often mentioned how they prefer the tip to be in cash as if it went on the bill they would not see any of it. That is just plain wrong. Thirdly the hotel. The hotel lost power multiple times throughout our stay, this was a major inconvenience. Unbelievable that a hotel of this standard would have no backup power at its disposal. We had an infant in the room who’s sleep was constantly disrupted due to the on and off of power and the noise and beeps of systems coming back online. The hotel room Its sold as an oceanview room but this is a ripoff, you practically have to lean out the side of the hotel room balcony to see the ocean. Least of our concerns as this is usual “hotel fluff” but worth mentioning. The hotel charges a resort fee for $35 a day but I honestly have no idea why a resort fee exists or what it is used for considering the offerings available.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. We stayed 7 days at this beautiful resort. Top notch security, awesome food, awesome staff whom always make sure your needs are met. Pool is big and spacious. Rooms are big and comfortable, views all around. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to going back.

I've only heard good things about the Westin Punta Cana Resort, and after my one week stay here, I see why. To begin with, the property was safely tucked away with lots of security, I definitely felt safe throughout my stay. When I finally got to the property, I was taken care of by Juan, the Front Desk Supervisor, and he made sure I was aware of the property's amenities and insider info. He had been my go-to person for any inquiries and requests, and he made sure everything was taken care of. Driving around with the GPS was a little bit complicated and it always routed us to the wrong exits... but we ran into Juan on our way out and he stopped and informed us of the correct way. He definitely went above and beyond with this, because it was clear he was on his way home and he still took the time to do so! I was also upgraded because of my Titanium Elite status, and the room was nice and spacious. Jendry also made sure to answer any questions I had, and she always helped me with a smile on her face. Vicente the bell/doorman also took care of us with our bags and drove us to the lakes nearby which is included with the stay. I recommend going there as it is beautiful with crystal clear waters. While we were disappointed with the smell and dirty waters due to the off peak season (I believe it tends to happen every year around May), I could see the hotel was trying to maintain it the best they could. I'm sure it would be a beautiful hotel in the winter months. Overall, the staff made the experience!

Zero effort to take the seaweed from the beach, the hotel manager offered to choose another destination next time, will do. You'll come here for the average pool, too looka at the water and smell a rotten fish all over the territory

The Westin name located on a picturesque backdrop, sounds great right? Wrong. Food, lousy & overpriced. Service, deplorable & downright lazy. A “non-inclusive” resort where you are charged a resort fee yet they do not provide the normal items liked towels, waters in your room and won’t even replace coffee on a daily basis. We are normally huge fans of Marriott and have been extremely loyal over the years but this particular property only excels in disappointing those long time customers. Don’t be blinded by the close proximity to the airport and the beautiful beach (which you are literally all around), this place is trying to swindle you out of each and every dollar they can. Very, very, very poor service and food. Do NOT recommend under any circumstance.

This was such a relaxing stay for a vacation I recently went on for a variety of reasons. For starters, everyone was so nice, welcoming, kind, and helpful. Everyone greets you with a smile. I loved their customer service. Second, it was such a clean resort. Daily housekeeping. Fresh towels and sheets. You can tell they keep up with maintaining the property both outside and inside. Third, the drinks and food were great too. They have an on-site restaurant called Anani that’s open from breakfast through dinner. Had an all you can eat breakfast buffet, which was super tasty. My cousin and I also stopped there for lunch and dinner and enjoyed those meals. Can also order food from the pool bar, lobby bar, and room service. Fourth, the beach is the shortest walk from the resort. Beautiful white sand beaches. Also have a beach side bar for drink service. Rooms were spacious, beds were super cozy, and the balcony had the best view. I would stay here again 100%.

I’ve been in 36 countries, staying in hundreds of hotels. The Westin Punta Cana has the best service staff in the world! Happy, eager to serve, very respectful, attention to details, very fast, always ready to help with any issue; this is genuine, not motivated by demographics or economy issues. The room was the second best hotel I’ve stayed in, the other being a posh suite in Las Vegas. The room has a small entrance vestibule with storage a very large beverage bar, a luggage room with huge closets a shelf closet with safe and a double console with marble tops and several doors. The room (Premium upgrade) has a king bed facing a massive wall of glass panels and doors. The on-suite consists of a private toilet, huge double vanity, a 6 foot long shower, and a changing, drying area. The deck is huge and will easily accommodate 6 people—the view was spectacular. The maid decorated our bed with hearts made of wash cloths and flower petals. The one negative is non-potable water at the sinks, minor in our opinion as the maid supplied us with many bottles of purified water. There are two restaurants on site—food is excellent but limited. Many other restaurants are close by—be sure to visit Bamboo. The beach was magnificent, despite the recent hurricane—bar on the beach. Stunning golf courses, though pricey, are next to the hotel—Corales (PGA Tournament) and La Cana. We celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary here and this hotel made it very special!

Can we go back to illy coffee please because the coffee now is not like before, that's my only complaint. I've been coming here every year for the past 7 years. Beautiful Resorts, best service & best Beach in town. Hurricane knocked off my favorite restaurant 😭 can we rebuild it please! And bring back the peruvian executive chef too!

Wow, what a terrible retirement plan. I just retired. My wife and I decided to go to a new island. We have been all over the Caribbean but not the DR yet. The room is loud, everyone walking the hall is an echo chamber. My headboard nearly fell off the wall. The AC had 2 speeds on or off. Not a westin heavenly bed either. Next up restaurant/food. Only 2 places available. The staff at the pool bar/restaurant stood around until we approached them EVERY TIME. oh, and when you cash out....they ask for CASH everytime. It is the epitome of the problem with "tip share" ...share in tips so you don't work any harder than anyone else. For a lifetime titanium member, this place may have been worse than any other marriott property we have stayed. Finally, the on-site concierge got us a catamaran for the 2 of us for the day. No sails, snorkeling had more snorkelers than fish...another great disappointment. The only salvation for the resort was the corales golf course. Bube and Alfredo actually were appreciative and friendly, so cudos to those two gentlemen Read the other poor reviews before you come here. They are all accurate

Hotel has gone downhill since our last visit and the prices have skyrocketed! Upon checking in we were without water for the first eight hours of our stay and the staff were very unfriendly. They now charge $40 USD per person to visit the Ojos Indígenas which was previously included. The hotel is under renovation and the service has gone downhill. Last but not least, a cup of juice will run you a cool $18 USD for a glass and $30 USD for their breakfast. Overrated and overpriced! Sad to see what happened to our favorite hotel in the Dominican Republic. 😔

The building is antiquated and the room amenities are non existing The room has hardly any lighting . The bathroom and shower share one 2” spot light The bathroom sink is in an open area with no q-tips, cotton balls or any other bathroom amenities The room we selected had 2 queen beds yet the entire room has 3 draws to share and use They. Advertise spa but is a car drive away, not on the premises While staying at the resort; no one offered us food or drinks while laying at the beach or pool side. Only on Saturday when the hotel was busy Like stated the grounds are nice but the accommodation are 2 star and antiquated

I've had airplane cancellations and troubles half a dozen times. I always default to the Westin. It's immaculate, the beds are, well, heavenly and the service is always consistently fantastic. Also, the staff here caters to a 95% American crowd so if your Spanish isn't great, they speak near perfect English here with every staff member. They are all school trained.

Was met with an unsuspecting surprise with this property, and Punta Cana in general. It’s not Marriotts fault, they should have never acquired this hotel from the Punta Cana mafia in the first place. Most communist experience in all of the Caribbean, yes, more than Cuba. Long story short, one family owns the entire 58 million acres that is Punta Cana, including the airport. Be prepared for the communist silliness that follows from expunging a free market economy — no taxis or Ubers, no outside restaurants , no small merchants, 35% service charge on every bill, a daily resort charge that gets you nothing, and NYC prices. Even if you are lucky enough to escape from the resort to the “town” of Punta Cana it’s all a farce — there is no town, you’re met with dining options and buildings that are all owned by the same family, yet again. Even the workers were telling us that the police are called on anyone trying to operate in a free market economy style, such as street vendors, fisherman, and taxi drivers. Great beach though, just can’t enjoy a place like when I feel like a walking dollar sign. Just a weird vibe. not the “DR”, it’s a country within the DR that makes its own rules and profit generating schemes.

Alexander provides great service at the front lobby. We ordered room service twice. Food was cold in the morning. In the afternoon my wife received a raw burger and requested well done. Her appetite was spoiled but room service attendant tried to forcibly enter our room and demand she try a remake. That experience was scary. He got down the hallway and threw the plate of food after he called me ridiculous 😒. We have decided to check out and finish our last two days somewhere else.

This is the best resort I have stayed. The front desk and management team is super friendly and accommodating. The view from our room was amazing. There was zero negative in our stay. I do have a special recognition of 2 members of westin puntacana. 1st. VICTOR. The most dedicated, friendly, and humble bartender I have ever crossed paths. His chinola mojito is amazing 2nd Cristian. Chef. Not only are his creations amazing. He took time of his busy schedule to talk to us and make us feel welcome Victor and Cristian made our trip memorable . We are definitely coming back to the westin puntacana resort

My family and I stayed at the Westin Punta Cana for 3 nights and had different experiences on different things. I will break it down in details as follows: The Good: 1. Welcome drink was quite good and refreshing, hands down for whoever made the drink. so good!!!! 2. Shuttle service is excellent, they can take you to the Blue Mall and restaurants nearby. There is also a grocery store at the Blue Mall if you want to grab snacks and soft drinks. 3. Guests have free access to the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve that has 13 freshwater lagoons. The hotel and take you there and back. My family and I enjoyed this activity so much and I highly recommended. 4. Free biking activity, you can grab one of the bikes they have and bike around the community. 5. The hotel room is enormous, the biggest I have been in North and South America. The design of the room is also well thought through. 6. This hotel is in a gated community which made us feel very safe. Note: if you are taking an Uber, make sure to choose "Uber Select" so you can get back into the property from outside. (Regular Uber is not allowed in the community) Things that need improvements: 1. The food - prices on the property is quite expensive for the quality that you get. Our first meal at the Anani, the service restaurant on site, came up to $170 for 3 entrées and 3 desserts which we would not mind if the food is tasty. Unfortunately, the chefs may need more training and quality check needs to be in place. For example, one of the entrées, BBQ ribs were tough and appeared to have been sit out for a long time. The mashed potatoes that came with it tasted like burnt garlic. The other entrée, creamy rice with shrimps was bland. It would also be nice to have more food selections, dinner buffet, or even an afternoon tea option. 2. Service Time - our group (and other guests) waited a long time for the food or even just a bottled water with ice, considering there are so many staff standing around doing nothing. 3. Coffee Shop/Convenience Store - there is only one gift shop on the property and they only sell Pringles. The rest of the stuff they sell there is non-edible items. For a 4 stars hotel, it is a must to have a full service coffee shop that offers a variety of caffeinated drinks, non-caffeinated drink, soft drinks, and bakey items. This is where guests go to grab something easy when they do not feel as hungry to sit down somewhere to eat. My family and I had to take the shuttle service to the Blue Mall so we could grab snacks and drinks from the grocery store back to the hotel. 4. Activities for guests - other than the activities that I have already mentioned, the resort gets quiet after 8 pm. Something like Sip & Paint activity, ceramic making, etc. would be great. 5. Signs and Directions - please put up signs of how to get around. After my stay, I still have no idea how to get to the gym and where all the other restaurants are. Thank you Mike, the manager, for all your help to in trying to fix the AC in my hotel room. I know that there are a few glitches on this trip, but you did your best to try to turn this around for me and my family.

I did like the ojos indígenas which are amazing sinkhole’s but this hotel is isolated in that all the restaurants in the area are the same owners and far overpriced, l wanted something not all included to travel and explore but this hotel is a trap. Even the Uber option is on with a special extra charge just so the owners take advantage of everything. If you are like me, not fond of the all e inclusive, we did like the AC Marriott which is close to shopping and also walking distance to the best restaurants in Punta Cana and not overpriced called Noah. We stayed in the AC Marriott after returning to PC and we stayed at the Intercontinental in Santo Domingo which was the highlight. In PC we also enjoyed Scape Park… The pictures show the beach at the Westin PC as you can’t get close to to ocean due to sargasso which is disappointing to say the least

Beautiful. Smaller resort. Very clean. Food was over priced but you know that going into a resort, overall pretty good. Kids were there, but it was low key. Good for a wedding or smaller family reunion or just to chill on the beach & relax, golf etc. would go back!

Perfect Sisters' Trip in December! Had an unforgettable 4 days at the resort! It's stunning - the rooms are large with wonderful bathrooms, generous sized terraces and lovely bedrooms. The beach and pool are gorgeous - never had an issue getting lounge chairs. The Caribbean Ocean is a perfect temperature and the color...The staff is incredible! Shout out to Alexander at the front desk, Jonathan at the beach bar, Luis at Kite Bar, Yorkardy the concierge, Willy at La Yola - everyone was so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

I was meant to travel in March last year, however due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to go. The hotel refused to give us any refund and took the money for the entire week. After a lot of back and forth, they grudgingly gave us credit for a period of time. We have been trying to book our visit now and they say the rates have increased by 100% essentially doubling the costs: it’s been a harrowing experience all together. Be careful of this resort and also Marriott Bonvoy. The don’t care about Customer Service

One night stay in February of 2022. Junior Suite, 1 king, Ocean View. Pros: - Property is well maintained with a nice pool area - Staff was courteous and prompt with the check-in process - Direct access to a secluded quiet beach - Close proximity to the airport Cons: - There are only two onsite restaurants of which only one was open for dinner during our stay. There are a number of additional restaurants nearby which require a short 5 minute cab ride.

This Punta Cana resort was great! The beach was awesome. The huge pool was amazing. The restaurant was phenomenal. The drinks on the beach and pool was also great. Best of all, it was the staff at the Westin that was the best. One administrator there, Inoska was outstanding!!! She helped us with so many things and helped my family have an amazing time here.

Whoa! So excited to come back! Booked this hotel for a terrific price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I enjoyed this hotel and I'm really grateful I stayed at my favorite hotel much cheaper than what I generally spend. Fantastic resort. Well... surprisingly the hotel is not serious establishment. I was trying to call multiple times to validate information regarding airport transfer and COVID testing but nobody responded to my calls. I escalated to the ambassador team support for assistance but it was too late as all answers I was looking for arrived after I had booked another resort with Marriott's competitor.

I think going to Punta Cana for the first time would be a dream vacation... guess again. First the service was well below par. The front desk was amazing but after that your pretty much on your own. Pool bar person wanted nothing to do with us unless we went up to him. Restaurant service was poor. They were more interested in talking to each other than severing there customers. If I needed something I would have to call them over. Staff said nothing 90% of the times, Hello or a smile would have worked. I guess being to other resorts that do pay attention to they're customers spoiled me and there's nothing better than great service when on vacation but that didn't happen here and I may never return because of it. With limited things to do and the virus in full affect it was 6 days of pool and beach. Would have like to do others things but maybe it was the wrong time to go. Never thought I'd say that about a vacation.

Hotel rooms are quite dated. A lot of furnitures needs replacing. We had a pull out bed that we could not sleep on as every spring was sticking out digging into your back, we had to use the couch instead. Don't even think of having a bath, although there is a bath tub the plug is not working and the water runs out before you even get a chance to get in. Same with the wash basin, plug not working and the water runs out. Hardly anyone speaks English so it's hard to explain what I want. Breakfast was good with a variety of choice.

Great quality resort. Beautiful beach and pool areas. Staff is very professional, polite, and helpful. Drink and food selection is to notch.

Best non inclusive resort in Punta Cana. Great location close to the airport. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We have been here several times in the past two years. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Definitely recommended if you are not looking for an all inclusive resort.

We loved it here! Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. You can tell they take pride in their resort and did everything to make our stay perfect. The beach is beautiful although can be windy at times. When the wind kicked up, we walked next door to Playa Blanca (a more sheltered beach) or went to the pool. We used the free shuttle to visit other restaurants and the indigenous eyes ecological preserve (which is amazing and definitely recommend). The lobby bar makes fantastic margaritas and other cocktails. Only $7 for an excellent margarita. They mix them by hand, it’s not a pre-made mix. The on-site restaurants were very good and reasonably priced. This property is a mile from the airport. We landed, went through customs, took $20 taxi to the Westin and were in our room in 45 minutes. The travel home was equally easy and efficient. The beach in front of the Westin has fine white sand and aqua waters. Perfect for swimming. The current was somewhat strong but not many waves. Lots of kite surfers in the area. I don’t think there’s much snorkeling from shore, but we did see some people swimming with their snorkels. They have umbrellas and palm trees if you want shade. Both the beach area and the pool have plenty of chairs available. Towel service is excellent and so is the pool bar. Service everywhere was beyond friendly. Sometimes we had to wait a few minutes to get our check, but it’s because they were hustling to help others. Aside from the beach, they have a golf course, tennis, bikes you can use for free, water sports, there’s a polo club nearby and a mall. The best part of this place is the people. I can’t stress enough how friendly they are.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a place. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you won't be let down. Best motel We’ve stayed in by far. Planning a trip back up there in may and will definitely be staying there. If I could rate it more than five stars I would. Amazing staff and definitely felt at home. Will for sure being staying there every trip. Thanks for the amazing stay and service!!! We were first here in 2018 & returned now (Dec '21) since it is not only a great resort, but we feel safe as it is so clean & spacious. They have an onsite medical center where we got our COVID tests prior to returning to the USA. Wonderful, attentive staff. Pools & beach area are very clean, safe, with plenty of space. Restaurant food is excellent.

As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member, I travel more than most. This property has a great location, is clean and the staff was friendly always recognizing my status. While this property isn't the most up-to-date accommodation, the 2 New restaurants and the cigar bar are special. Additionally, guests have access to the La Cana pool and beach, where there are two restaurants and poolside drink service (very nice). It helps to know a little Spanish and the staff is open to helping you with words. Be sure to visit the tennis facility and the ecological reserve. Bottom line- this is a quiet resort with a great pool and welcoming staff. (We traveled the last week of May- low season).

All the staff are so amazingly friendly and helpful. The food is a bit pricy, but it's delicious and the portions are huge. The beach and pool are clean and well maintained.

Love love this resort. Let me start off with customer service. Top notch, in my books. They make sure you are comfortable and happy. Now as for the view from the room, it's just breathtaking. You can see the pool area and the beach from there. Love the fact you can walk on the beach to other restaurants (playa blanca- best food ever) while enjoying the sand in your feet. Now, I can't give a good review on the rooms but, the view from it and customer service makes up for it, I guess. 🤷🏾‍♀️. I recommend this place. Especially if it's your first time like me) 😉

We stayed 7 days at this beautiful resort. Top notch security, awesome food, awesome staff whom always make sure your needs are met. Pool is big and spacious. Rooms are big and comfortable, views all around. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to going back.

I attended a business conference that is focused on Caribbean Investment opportunities. The Westin did a great job in spite of some difficult guests and country expectation. The staff was fairly friendly and helpful for the main room and the group lunch. The lunch buffet was good but at the second day lunch there were no chocolates for desert so they missed an opportunity to wow the guests. The exercise room is very basic. The shuttle service to various areas came in very handy.

The hotel itself was very clean, had quite the spacious beach, and I enjoyed eating at the restaurant which was filled with a lot of local Dominican meals to choose from. Me and my friend had come to Punta Cana to celebrate our college graduation, worthwhile experience.

Asked for a room upgrade using gold marriot membership and they said we had an amazing ocean view from our room! We couldn’t see the ocean haha! Also they offered us a taxi service which was 3x more than Uber. Understandable to recommend their own service but they should look out for their customers!

The hotel and staff was great. But they allow 3rd party scammers in the lobby that lie about the excursions. We booked a snorkeling boat that turned out to be a trashy experience and they made us pay double than everyone else. Beware.

No rented bikes. No golf cRt rentals. Hot water faucet in sink was cold. First nihjt no hot water. Bad shopping center advice. Porters did not show up at room for luggage. One of two restaurants demolished. Conference center wax unavailable we had to take a bus to our mtg. Good food at restaurants. Excellent beaches. TV on wall was crooked n advertised channels were missing. Too many things on this list fir me to return here. Cleaning staff was excellent.
