First time in my life that a place ask me to pay a minimum for us to be able to enter 🤨 Moreover they have private policies that are discriminating towards LGTBIAQ+ Community. Our friends were kissing gently and they came to tell them that this cannot be, when they ask why, the response were excuses because another couple (straight) were doing the same and didn't get this "warning". Beside the service was awful, slow like a snail. They have very few vegetarian options but the food doesn't worth it neither the drinks they were totally watery. The balance quality / price is super OFF! It's better if you just go right to the beach don't waste your money and energy in that place... I gave it 1 star because it doesn't let me give a big 0! NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!

Very clean place the bathrooms were spotless and the staff is very friendly.

Beautiful beach, sometimes clean, sometimes dirty with seaweed, which is normal in the Caribbean. The attentions in the beach area are really bad, you just have to look for yourself your drinks and food. Food and drinks are average and a little overpriced. But overall is a good place for family with kids, the beach is nice and the ambience is nice too.

Nice quiet beach, not too busy with some bars and restaurants available. Calm waves and soft white sand with tiny little crabs in the water aggressively cute. The only inconvenient is the seaweed which is present sometimes after an offshore storm, excepting this is an excellent beach.

We loved the catamaran, they really made it fun for everyone. They even stop in the center of the water and let you hang out in like 4 feet of water. They provide drinks. Side by side excursion is what it's called. The staff was super great!!!!

Located at just five minutes from the airport and the BlueMall Puntacana, this restaurant is a treasure on the Punta Cana area, with a paradise breathtaking view that is absolutely stunning. From the first minute you arrive, you can enjoy not only from the ambience but also from the outstanding service from hostess, the waiter to the staff cleaning our table, but were all amazing and professionally friendly, including the supervisor. I can tell you that you will enjoy not just the view and peaceful ambiance but that your palate is going to enjoy one of the best food in the whole Dominican Republic. There're some restaurants that deserve 5 stars, but Playa Blanca restaurant is at another level restaurant. It was at another level of deliciousness never experienced by me. It seemed to me that the Chef mix traditional dominican and caribbean plates with many other different latin countries flavors, making it so unique yet so exquisitely good that that take the food culture to the top professional level. You can take a break of your travel day (5 minutes from the airport) or simply have a romantic date, and enjoy this magical culinary experience. Playa Blanca restaurant uses the freshest seafood on a wholesale scale, mixing it with a delicious blend of butter, garlic, parsley, and secret seasonings pastas (risotto highly recommended). Just imagine the best seafood sauce to smother your plate with... from fresh shrimp in the skillet to exquisite meats top of all their multiple pastas and mixed modalities. This beautiful open restaurant has an exclusive VIP feeling that takes your mind out of the Punta Cana area and puts you on a culinary trip. The large seafood platters among the other appetizer plates could be easily combined, however, most of the plates are NOT big enough to share. All plates came with excellent presentation. Clams, mussels, crabs, crawfish, shrimp, combined with a variety of pastas, and delicious salads, especially with the crabs and shrimp plates. Again, the food is awesome...on my experience with seafood, sometimes with all the seasoning, the flavor of crabmeat is lost, not so at this exclusive restaurant. Great service, very kind waitress with a relaxed atmosphere. Also, you can enjoy the most cool drinks and beers, and the finest wines are available. Bathrooms are very clean and odorous with a fancy ambiance. If you are in town or just passing by through the area, you should try this unforgettable restaurant. I took one STAR out just because it's plates are highly priced as compared with other local waterfront restaurants, so if you don't mind to pay a higher price, then it is definitely very HIGH RECOMMENDED...you won’t regret it!

Beach was good, a little bit weeds in places. Service on the beach was poor, over an hour to have return for drink refills. In the inner seating area for food. Octopus with mushrooms and grilled veggies was excellent! Calamari was tasty. Cheese burger was good. We spit all dishes between the two of us.

Great lunch.we ate steak with fries, red snapper with grilled veggies,tuna tartare and salad. we paid $180 for 2 ( for me that is expensive) but food was delicious,(we share dishes) great service and beautiful beach.

Avoid! Nice small beach, atmosphere destroyed by the loud and aggressive music starting 1pm, impossible to relax.. also be aware you need to pre pay 40usd entering in the resort. Cheap and uncomfortable plastic sunbathing chairs (no charge) if you are lucky to get one, service is slow and food is basic. I also don’t like the places that give you a menu in USD, but force you to pay in DOP with their own exchange rate. Rip off..

Playa Blanca Resturant is a top pick of mine when i come to DR. One of the best restaurants on the beach for the price! Food is amazing and service is great! Only problem i have is they rudley asked us to leave becuase they were closing. Otherwise fantastic time at Playa Blanca. The beach was covered in seaweed and not a good beach in my opinion!

First meal in the Dominican Republic when arriving later in the day and having some time to kill before getting into our rental home. This restaurant is located right on the beach at the Punta Cana Resort and Club. We aren’t large eaters, but after a pretty early morning of travel, followed by airline snacking we were ready to get some food in. We were seated in Manuel’s section, and he greeted us warmly and provided us with some time to get settled in and look at the options. Our group of 3 Started out with a glass of Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon, red sangria, and I had a michelada with the local El Presidente beer. Very tasty, cold, refreshing and as you sit Oceanside and watch people kite surfing, learning how to sail, chilling on the beach you have a vacation is finally here vibe. My parents split the linguini de frutti de mare, and I ordered the risotto with tomatoes, burrata, and pesto. It took a little while, but it’s island time and we weren’t in a rush. When the food came out it was perfectly executed. The linguini was cooked Al dente, the risotto with pesto drizzled on it along with a big chunk of burrata and alfalfa sprouts on top (it baffled me but it worked out!) was superb. Rice had some bite to it, but not crunchy. Just really well done. We had to get back to the home but I had to find out the next time Manuel was working so I could bring our entire group later in the week. Thank you to him for an excellent meal and a warm welcome to Punta Cana. We hope to be back!

Had lunch & Santos was the waiter. I give him 5 stars for outstanding hospitality. Had dinner & Ramon was waiter. He screwed our order up & manager had the nerve to come out and almost accused us of not giving him the correct order as if he was going to force us to eat something we didn't order. If not for Santos, I would give them a 1 star.

Beautiful views & friendly service. Don’t expect anything to happen quickly here, but you will get service with a smile for sure. Lunch on the deck, drinks on the beach; tasty food to suit all tastes and warm Caribbean Sea …. I have no complaints.

Something went terribly wrong. Not staying in the Punta Cana Resort but having diner reservations at Playa Blanca, we had to pass through the guard gate, much like we did, successfully, the night before when dining at La Yola. This time, however, security immediately said "Playa Blanca is closed". Closed? But I have reservations, and Playa Blanca reached out to me the day before to confirm them. I showed the guards my reservation confirmation email. No matter. "Playa Blanca is closed". We pulled over and called the restaurant directly. After explaining our situation, the concierge said "I'm sorry they are not taking guests right now". I explained that we have a reservation. he said, "I understand, but they are not taking anyone without a reservation." But we HAVE one. "I understand" he said "but they are not taking customers right now. I asked if they are closed. he paused and said "yes". We found another place to eat that night. While there, Playa Blanca called me to say there was a mistake at the guard gate, and they should have let us in because we had a reservation. They apologized appropriately. I decided not to remind him about our earlier phone call to the restaurant where we were again told that we could not dine there.

We went here on Thanksgiving with 300-400 kids and families all here for a major international US Kids tournament. Amazing that the restaurant could handle this many, and all. The food was outstanding!

Waited an hour and a half and no food or cocktails came, so we left. Such a shame to have wasted so much time here on my last day in DR. Prices are expensive, but the service is GARBAGE. Beautiful beach, so it’s a shame. IF YOU ARE NOT A LOCAL, THEY WILL FORCE YOU TO SPEND $$ IN ADVANCE ON FOOD. DO NOT COME HERE.

Wonderful place to have a beachy lunch! Sweet staff, good drinks, and bug menu. They were very flexible and changed my drink and main course for me as a vegetarian! Thank you! Only negative was that the dish my husband wanted was out (Mahi sandwich) but they had it as tacos.

Amazing restaurant! Food was delicious we ordered the quesbirria which was great and the 120z prime steak which was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Ramon was super kind and continuously checked with us to make sure the food was good and if we needed anything else we also ate on the beach so we had an amazing view. HIGHLY RECOMMEND:)

I rode the shuttle bus from the Four Points Sheraton/ Marriott to the Playa Blanca beach which is where the Playa Blanca Restaurant is located. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I did not eat there as my plans were to eat with associates back at the hotel.The beach and the water was nice. Service is based on island time to relax and enjoy. There was a good playground and area for children. The place has not fully recovered from the tourism slow down and could use a little TLC.

May 28th 12:00pm. Good food and good servers. The beach is nice also. Getting a taxi / ride back to the main gate to get an Uber is tricky. It’s a 15 minute walk or a heckle with one of the taxi van guys.

Attended a private event here, food wasn't brilliant. Steak was good, wine was nice but bar service slow. Lovely small beach front though.

Restaurant food was good as well as drinks. Service was a little slow. We ordered an Uber our first time there to come and go, our second time there we tipped the server a generous $50 tip as she was alone and busy. When we left we ordered our uber and after two times of canceling them we were told that we can not order Ubers, we can only order their taxis. We agree to have their taxi take us - we are only 7 minutes away from the resort and the taxi charged us $30!!!!!! $30 US Dollars for 7 minutes of driving! More than what the airport charged us to get to our Airbnb. It’s not about the money but the politic it’s absurd to want to rip people off. This experience left a bitter taste in our mouths. Not going back there again. Nunca volveremos ni recomendáremos este lugar.

Very nice beach safe from undertow and seaweeds. Lovely swing to use in the surf and great beach views from every chair. Food was great cooked to order, we got a cheese burger with fries, calamari, a pizza a bucket of beer and all was great....will go again soon...

Nice place. Ask for fried Red Snapper (Pargo)., tostones , avocado, rice. Delicious. They are very friendly and no too pricey.

Beautiful spot to have brunch, lunch or early dinner with Amazon ocean view.
