Peaceful/tranquil outdoor patio area and delicious food! This place is a must visit just off the public section of the beach - a short 2 minute walk up a pathway. The vegan bowl was flavourful and a large serving portion. The vegan sandwich was tasty. Friends ordered the burger (both veggie and pork) and gave them both the thumbs up. Someone in our party had the coffee but said it was nothing special so would recommend sticking with the fresh smoothies. We capped off our meals with a wonderful popsicle made from fresh fruit ingredients - available in delicious flavors including a vegan chocolate one available for the vegan in our party. We would definitely go back to this place to try their breakfasts.

This restaurant looks great but is the absolute opposite, the juices they have are alright but the meals are tasteless and very poorly made. My chicken teriyaki meal was absolutely black, I’ve never seen so much teriyaki on one plate, I couldn’t distinguish chicken and carrot! After not eating my meal at all and politely telling staff I want to pay for everything but the teriyaki, they were very rude and immediately made me feel unwelcome. Not the experience I hoped for.

The food was great with lot of fresh products unfortunately the service wasn’t good and the employees seems to do not enjoy working there. You need to treat everyone at the same level, it is important. We have been there few times ( since it was the closest breakfast place for us ) and the service was always the same .. not good. Also while we have breakfast we want to relax and we don’t want to have people asking us for tours and that we need to tell their names to the agency across the street.

Beautiful and cosy bistro! Breakfast was very good, and the menu included also the juice or coffee. They also have some gluten free and lactose free options which is very friendly.😊 I would really recommend you to go there and grab some coffee and something to eat!

Always a pleasant and friendly face and a warm sincere greeting one of the best places I’ve eaten at while I’m here in Punta Cana definitely a must for the health conscious traveler or if you just want good food

This place is located in the perfect spot right before getting on the beach, they have great coffee, fresh juices/ smoothies, popsicles made out fresh fruits and much more. Staff is incredibly welcoming and sweet.

We went to Joy four times while we were in the area! Delicious popsicles, amazing smoothie bowl, great juices/coffee/hot chocolate, yummy breakfasts, and such sweet staff. We loved Mario and Luis! The space was so joyful and cute!

Very good breakfast place with good prices. Healthy food options, great service and laid back atmosphere. The arepa with ham and cheese was very good as were the pancakes and scrambled eggs all for about $17. This place is within walking distance to the beach. The only complaint would be the juice included in the meals are watered down.

Looked exciting at first, nice options on the menu but we got disappointed. Small portions. Caffe horrendous, we late found out that is just a Nescafé machine. I order a toasted bagel with cheese and tomatoes and it wasn’t toasted at all, completely cold. Juice not tested nice, couldn’t tell if it was just because it was without sugar(that I like) or if the fruit wasn’t ripe enough. Let’s hope the popsicles are nice!

Lovely island atmosphere. We sat outside in the courtyard area both mornings. Staff was excellent, efficient & friendly and made us feel comfortable. Food was right up my alley, smoothies, avocado toast with sunnyside up eggs, oatmeal pancakes, fresh fruit, and of course DR coffee. Great place!

The juices and the Popsicles with real fruits are delicious! Passion fruit and the lime with mint is a must.

Go for the arepas, with the eggs and the avocado. The pancakes with banana and fruit bowl are nice also, but they should have more fruits, and they had three small pieces of banana… why??

Loved going to JOY every morning while my husband and I stayed in Bavaro, Punta Cana. The staff were always so kind and friendly, and accommodated for my husband's gluten allergy for which we were very thankful. The food was tasty and healthy, and we loved the open door/windows so we could enjoy the nice weather. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something light and healthy!

The food was okey but small portions. The girl behind the counter was very suspicious when I wanted to pay with the credit card, she asked me to give her my pin, of course I didn’t and when I went closer to enter it myself she deleted the transaction and created a new one! Very suspicious! The staff wasn’t friendly and not smiling at all. Just be careful if you go there.

Pitiful and expensive. A few chuncks of fruit in a bowl 1.5 slices of dry toast (no butter) a small amount of scrambled eggs, 2 piecex of bacon an extra, small juice and small coffee at about $16!

Eating here was very nice they had a variety of fresh juices which tasted amazing and they also has various different types of smoothies. The food was amazing. The staff was also very nice and friendly. The hot chocolate is amazing it taste as if it’s fresh chocolate. The pancakes were fluffy and soft.

Best breakfast place in Bávaro. Have plenty of vegetarian options and also offer lunch. The popsicles are a nice addition. Only thing is they should be open longer.
