This place was amazing!!! I’ve never been to anything like it ever!!! It was so much going on Was pretty expensive but definitely worth it. I would definitely suggest trying to get a table while already in the club. When I was looking online they wanted like175 per person for a table/section. So I just bought us regular tickets then once we were inside a lovely lady asked us if we wanted a table so we got a section for 7 of us with two bottles and unlimited drinks for 230. Definitely way cheaper if I had bought them for each person.

We didn’t pay to see the show. We stayed at the club outside and was amazing. The vibes was nice the music on point the drinks as well. Overall was decent. No fee to enter just have to show your vaccinated card.

If you want to have fun you must visit this Disco-show. They sells tickets at the entrance regular tickets are $70 and you get 5 drinks and 1 snacks, they also have VIP which cost is $80 but to be honest the only difference is that you can have a little table and that is it. Shows are pretty cool you must visit.

Very entertaining! I HIGHLY recommend paying for the VIP spots. If I hadn't, I would have wanted to be out of there in a flash. The drinks are great, the dance music and acts were better. The atmosphere was extremely, energetic! Well worth the money! I marked it four stars for a few reasons though. Pretty shady at times, dark and grungy at other times, and it...was...PACKED. Security was good once you got past all the crowds, we went through I think 4 different bouncers checking you for weapons and what not. We weaved our way through the endless crowds up to the VIP. Again, worth every penny to be up there. Waiters and bartenders were on point. Tables for 2, endless drinks, and plenty of space to have fun! Added a 5 second clip to show a "piece" of the 4+ hour event.

So far...not so good. Driver was late at pick up. Spent 15 minutes dusting sand from her toes and counting her tips. We still haven't left and our check in is in 15 minutes! She's just sitting there....texting... Finally got to the venue and the staff told me my $165 VIP ticket purchase wasn't valid because I didn't bring that actual credit card with me. They had my reservation in their system but refused to honor it unless I showed the credit card I used to purchase the ticket in November. I had to buy another VIP ticket for $165. "Dinner" was dry crusty...um chicken? With a role served in a cardboard box. Show was ok but overall the experience is NOT worth $165 (x2) for VIP. Spend your money on a catamaran cruise or dune buggy excursion....I actually had a great time with those.

It’s a must-see because it’s the best place if you want to party and watch an amazing show. It is definitely worth buying a VIP ticket because it is easy to see and unlimited consumption of drinks, which is of course necessary. 🍾🍾😉🤣

Amazing in a single word. We paid $85 for it, but it was well worth it. We had the best night of our lives despite not having high expectations. I would recommend purchasing a regular ticket because you will be closer to the action of the show. You are free to dance and drink as much as you want. We bought an open bar ticket. The music and show were fantastic. I've never seen anything like it. The entertainment team is incredible! It's almost surreal.

Very disappointed. They should stop calling it a show and call it just drunk disco. We were to the original CocoBongo in Cancun few years ago and it was amazing, but this one is nowhere close to the Mexican one. Instead of show, most of the time it was simply trans disco. So bottom line, if you are in your 20’s and looking to party, go for it. If you are looking for a good show, don’t waste your money.

DO IT!!!! This blew Vegas shows out of the water! I didn’t know what to expect, but it was so amazing. Absolutely 100% do the gold package. We had a line that took maybe 5 mins to get in, the GA was literally around the block. You get treated wonderfully, ushered in as VIP, you have a front row seat on the top balcony so can see everything perfectly and super attentive servers. And open bar! I never had an empty drink. It’s definitely a nightclub and show in one, so it’s for that age group, but this is going down as one of my all time favorite experiences! Do not skip this!!!!! #EPIC

Coco Bongo was a great time. Words can’t even describe to be honest how the atmosphere in there. The drinks kept coming, everyone was dancing, and the show was spectacular. If you go, I definitely recommend you getting a table near the restroom so you can easily get to the restroom and get your own table so you can move around in your area. If you do the regular admission, it’s a free for all and you are literally shoulder to shoulder with randoms.

What a night! We knew this was good but it exceeded our expectations!! We did pay for the VIP which was on the sitting area and we had a good view of everything and unlimited drinks, the dance floor was way too packed so we were happy to be on the leves above. What a show!! We loved that they mix the show with music so you can enjoy both things without getting bored. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and they brought him a shot on a “cake” and the dj put the cumpleaños feliz song so he got his birthday attention lol we really loved it and will definitely recommend it to anybody that goes to Punta Cana and wants to have a good time. Note: The tickets we got from our hotel had the transportation from the hotel and back included and they were on time and we had no issues.

We visited the Punta Cana location with VIP Front Row tickets a few days ago. I had read mixed reviews about paying more but I strongly recommend the extra cost. It's well worth it. In my opinion it's the best view of the stage and aerial show. We visited the Cancun location about six months ago with the same VIP Front Row and I'd say the show is equally as good. They have a similar layout. The celebrity variety is different but still very entertaining. Quick note, there is no food at the DR location.

Loved it! Staff were all amazing - drink servers, bar staff, toilet attendant, security. Performers were fantastic, and such a great atmosphere. We went for the gold option so we could get a seat - wouldn't have liked having to be on feet entire time, on the packed dancefloor. Unlimited drinks, very attentive server. Security escorted my partner out to smoke, waited then escorted him back. No queue to get in. Felt really safe and looked after all night.

If you went to Coco Bongo in Cancun and wondering if this is worth it at Punta Cana? It isn’t! Upon arrival, you get into your ticket line to wait for your wrist band. You want to skip that line? Pay $15usd. You finally get in and party has started. Packed like sardines, no where to go. If you are anywhere around the main floor (stage). Staff will come on by and push you around to make room for dancers. If that space is constantly required for them, why not just block it off for that purpose instead of attempting to create space by pushing customers around. The show itself has updated, newer performances like Shakira & bad bunny. The dancers and the acrobatic show is entertaining but not at the cost of feeling congested. It is an open bar but good luck attempting to reach there. An attended will come by every so often but with randoms. Several people were pushing to get to and from the bar so you are constantly being tugged. You will have girls walking by offering $5 usd shots. I am not sure what the person capacity is but I guarantee you they surpassed it. They are only getting 2 stars because the security at the front was very kind and brought us water when we exited due to feeling claustrophobic. The staff is on-point when it comes to dancer safety etc. However, despite paying $250usd it felt like a money grabbing scheme upon arrival.

The show is completely worth it! We had a great time and the people that work inside were really kind. We arrived at 11:30pm and at that time the tickets for the VIP area have a cost of 75 USD per person, which is 10 USD less than the tickets in the general area before that time. If we could go back we would, but we would arrive earlier to watch all the shows.

Great night! Very entertaining..... we paid for the VIP package so drinks were included and you had your own area... which was much better! You weren't packed in like they were on the floor and the barman was very attentive... Highly recommended! If I had of went earlier in the holiday I would have definitely gone back for another visit.

This is a must visit place if you are in Punta Cana. They are absolutely right is saying - Let’s put Vegas to shame. They definitely lived up to their mission. We visited this club on Friday night and were highly impressed by the professionalism of everyone - from entry, to servers and performers. All performances were mind blowing (to say the least). I personally recommend getting the VIP or higher ticket, for better service and best view. We upgraded our Regular tickets VIP with bottle service. It gave us space to dance (which would have been difficult on the dance floor, with so many people around) and a dedicated server. If I visit Punta Cana again, I am sure to make time for couple of nights to visit this place again. Incredibly fantabulous club!

We paid $155 p/p for the Gold Member ticket. Open bar included which is nice. It also includes seat BUT they are all the way up where you couldn’t even see the shows and the space you have it’s literally like 2 ft. Definitely not worth the price. We opted to go with a VIP table but you need to buy a $200+ bottle. We did a $315 + tax bottle got a table, seats, designated waitress which he’s the reason I’m leaving 2 stars. His service was excellent. He even opened space between the crowed every time I needed to use the restroom. You also get a decent amount of space. However, this places it is NOT the place for those who are looking for a club to dance. They only do shows which are not very good. Ended up wasting $630 ($315 tickets + $340 MOËT bottle) not including tip and we were only there for 3 hours. Parking is free.

I understand if you’re into a great show with impersonators, however this place is not it for someone who wants to actually enjoy “nightlife”. Its ridiculously overpriced and crowded. Drinks are often watered down and it’s hard to seek assistance. I gave two stars only because the bar outside of Coco Bongo had a decent selection of beers and gave off better vibes.

I’m not a club kind of girl, so when the group I was with dragged me out, I wasn’t very enthusiastic and was expecting something tacky. But wow was it a great experience! It felt super safe with all the security who were on top of everything. Our waiter was amazing and always had a fresh drink ready for us before we asked. The performers were really talented and high energy. And the music was perfection; a great mix of old and new and different genres. It was just really good vibes all around. Definitely recommend!

It was the most electrifying and exhilarating club I have ever seen. It's literally on 12 the entire time. The arobatics makes it incredible. Well excuted and oeganized. The service is great......splurge for VIP. Thank me later. There is no food. It would have been great to have snacks to nibble, but not a deal breaker. There is food outside surrounding in close proximity, and we were able to go out in pairs to eat and then return. We discovered the party is outside too! The ONLY drawback is that they skimp on the alcohol. With VIP, there are unlimited drinks. Our first round was on point but downhill from there. We didn't notice in the moment though because of all the hype in the building. Remember to ask for shots to go with ALL your drinks to ensure you are getting what you paid for. By far the best excursion.

The most fun night we had while visiting Punta Cana!! Such an amazing show and great atmosphere. We purchased VIP Gold seats and were seated on the second level next to the stage. Had an incredible view of both the upper and center stage. The shows were spectacular and the intermission music was on point. Lots of dancing and singing along to the music. With VIP seats, a server brought us drinks and kept them coming throughout the night. A must-do in Punta Cana! Can’t wait to visit their other locations, too!

Incredible experience and show. I would recommend taking VIP or Gold tickets in order to be able to sit down, and also to avoid the long queues at the bar. The snack consisted of a single burger, so get some food in your stomach before going to the show. Otherwise the waiters are very kind and happy to help. An experience you can't miss in Punta Cana.

I was very impressed by the show and experience of cocobongo in punta cana. I have been to the cancun and playa del carmen locations but punta cana stood out. If you buy the 70-90 open bar packages they do not include a table and you will be standing from 8-12 during the show. I learned that you can pay $30 just for entrance and then pay the $120 or so for the cheapest bottle in order to get a table. Well worth it!

Phenomenal show. I had no idea what I was getting into beforehand and was taken aback by the breath of pop culture they borrow from, in a good way. From Star Wars to Madonna, the Coco Bongo show has it all. The drinks are great and it's an open bar, so you can drink as much as you like. The space is kinda cramped tho, and moving around can be an issue.

Despite the Covid—19 pandemic and adversity the team at Coco Bongo has been through, they have worked very hard to re open! Specifically, Cecilia helped me sort out my visit with excellent customer service! Highly recommend Coco Bongo Punta Cana.

First time in Coco Bongo Punta Cana and it was totally worth it. Great show, awesome party, best performance, drinks were decent. this is a must go for adults that want to party and have a great time. I would recommend getting private transportation scheduled so you can enjoy the after party, the buses take you to early to your hotel

I visited Coco Bongo in Punta Cana and was captivated by its retro vibe. However, the experience turned sour due to the exorbitant prices. The biggest letdown was the unexpected additional charges without prior consent, leaving a disappointing taste in an otherwise lively atmosphere.

The entertainment was amazing, I loved their show. The performers are truly talented. We had fun, but once was enough due to the business its self. -If you change your date make sure you get a new QR code we did not and struggled to get in on the new date. The only saving grace was an employee who remembered my husband from a previous night. -We purchased the premium so we could have seating…. Apparently Gold and VIP are the only ones who can sit. They said we could sit with bottle service, We paid the $250 for premium, why would we purchase a $200 bottle of Tito’s to sit? It felt extremely deceptive since details are not easily found online. It’s clear VIP does buy you a table at +$800 PP. This is an obvious misconception for premium as it happened to everyone being told they could only stand upstairs which is a small area. - Check in was as 7:45 we were in line at 7:50 and got in at 8:20 -being towards the front of the line. They charge $15 to skip the line which appears purposefully to gain extra $ by an extremely slow line where they allow 10-15 people at a time. -Husband was a little weirded out by female bathroom attendant in a bathroom with open urinals. -While our premium kept us out of the main area I would not say it was worth it.

This is must in Punta Cana if you’ve never seen the show. Pricey but worth it. Basic admission included open bar but I don’t recommend. If you can afford bottle then do so. You’ll be Abel to enjoy the show better. Specially on nights it gets super packed. Like really crowded.

  • 3/5 Charlie 8 months ago on Google
The show is amazing however the attitude of some staff members left a bad feeling for us, I understand the limit of room inside the venue but they constantly barged past, and dont even think of sitting down to tie your shoe! Shouted at for sitting down even for a second . Not sure if this is a coco bongo policy to try and Upsell the ridiculous priced seated areas but most likely so. Performance however was very impressive and not a bad word about that.

Our family’s first time going to the Dominican Republic. Also our first time going to a Coco Bongo nightclub. Was definitely a good time. Music was great. The entertainers were very friendly and lively with the crowd. Go watch the show if you’re in the area!

Look… you need to come here a little bit under the influence to start with. Once the music and show began you really have to play along with the atmosphere and everything they’re trying to incorporate! It was definitely more of a dance along show but my wife who usually wouldn’t like things like this, had a blast!!! I myself, had an amazing time! Good music! Good show! Drink up baby

  • 5/5 Author Neva S. 2 years ago on Google
The show is amazing. I am way too old for the whole concert type atmosphere though down below, it gets super packed and there is no where to sit. If you are like me and can't stand for that long, pay the extra to get a a balcony seat so you can enjoy everything and dance freely if you want to. At one point I sat on a stair that no one was near and told by a staff member to get up, if I wanted to sit down, I should have paid for it. Even though I was treated in a rude way, I still think the show was worth it. Super fun to do with friends.
