We sat down and there was a roach between the table and the glass and they just moved us to another table. Then the server told us about the taquiza and said we could order from 4 meats of our choosing and the menu didn’t say any different. We ordered and waited and then when they brought out the food (incorrectly) they said it had to be be beef and chicken and that they were going to charge us for the chicken tacos we never ordered. The manager said either we must pay for the food we didn’t order, or the new girl pays for the mess up so we ended up paying for an entire portion we didn’t eat. We ended up leaving because they started to avoid us and didn’t want to give us service so we paid and left and we’re never going back.

Ordered two shots of tequila and they attempted to charge 10x the amount, basically tried charging for a bottle. Spoke with the waitress and she said that was the price, I insisted that she was wrong and she begrudgingly fixed the bill. Be careful when paying, they probably saw two young women and figured we were not paying attention enough to the exchange rate assuming we were not sober or what have you

It’s 12am and it’s raining I’m hungry and nothing open. I get on google even though I’m familiar with the area EVERYTHING is closed because of the rain. Thinking to myself what’s a guaranteed good eat and I remember how Thai smells every time I walk by. Staff is great always good energy, food, drinks and a movie on.. traditional fajita with beef and chicken is 🥹😍🔥. Free Wi-Fi included. My husband ordered the tacos el pastor and said they had amazing flavor. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was almost the worst one I have had. The guacamole was pathetic, very bland. The only redeeming quality of the meal was the pico de gallo. But I struggled to eat that as the servers did not give us any silverware at all. The host was nice. I wouldn’t go back but my husband said he would go back for tacos.

We were a party of 8 which I understand is slightly larger. It took an hour to receive the tacos and I wouldn't have cared if the party of 6 and another party of 4 that came in 20 minutes after us hadn't ordered, received and ate their food and left before our food came! During that hour we waited the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything. Now onto the food: lackluster at best. 6 people ordered tacos and 3 of them got standard tacos while 3 got taquitos. All dishes were a flour tortilla with some very dry meat in it. 2 had lettuce on them. I would just skip eating here. My chilaquiles had soggy nachos in them. The waitress told me the salsa verde is spicy and there was not only no spice but no flavor in it. Also ordered 2 guacamole appetizers and the chips were stale. The meat in all the dishes was dry and flavorless. Honestly go anywhere else nearby. Mexican food isn't that hard and this did not qualify as Mexican except for the fact that they used tortillas.

Food was okay. Tacos looked a bit strange. There was nothing else except taco shells and pieces of fried fish. Beef burrito was good, keep in mind burrito has A LOT of onions. Music was VERY LOUD. Not the best place to go with the small kids. Also keep in mind - the place doesn’t have a printed menu. Only QR code. So you need to have a data or wifi. The Spanish menu wasn’t loading at all, and English didn’t have all the possible options. English menu didn’t have burrito. In the end of the meal we just were waiting for the bill, but no one came. So my husband had to go to cashier to finely pay there.

The food was good but there was a bit more to be desired in terms of quantity = to price$$. They also advertised lower prices on the website and had 20% higher once we sat down. The drinks were well made and decently priced however. The guacamole is average and too expensive as well 🤷 If you don't mind paying a bit more and want decent Mexican in good location than it's probably for you 👍

Super disappointed. We heard good things. Came in and sat down. It was busy, so we were willing to wait. We waited 30 minutes. No one approached us. It felt like we were being actively ignored, as there were 2 servers standing at the bar for the majority of our waiting time. Tried to wave someone over: they looked at us, saw me, then walked into the back. 2 stars because I hate 1-star review people.

Service was good but the waiters can have a better presentation, the food was not good at all, everything was full of oil and we got served something different than what we ordered. According the waiter she placed the right order but the chef made the mistake which is not acceptable as an experienced cook. Food was full of oil and we'll made, no salt on any side dish and so forth.

Great food, friendly wait staff, and lively location. We will be back.

Stars for the Margarita which was very good. Service was painfully slow. Food was basic and expensive at 600 peso + tip + tax for Pollo nachos.

Very very large communication barrier for people who do not speak Spanish. Our waitress had no clue to what we wanted to eat even when just pointing to the menu item. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and they still forgot some people in our groups food. The food was average at best. Would recommend elsewhere.

Music very loud, almost impossible to speak to the person sitting by your side, you have to shout to be heard. Food is horrible, ordered a simple meal, grilled chicken breast with rice: it was bland, no salt or seasoning, had to leave some pieces that were totally raw and impossible to eat. Also ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was cold and poorly filled, looked like it was old or some leftover. Price is high and service is slow and not very friendly. There was also one very simple starter ordered (beans and nachos) and it never arrived, but they tried to charge it on the bill. Conclusion: we left the restaurant hungry. This is easily the worst mexican restaurant I have ever been. I don't recommemd at all. Close by this restaurant there are much better options with the same price range.

The food is nice but too expensive. Most of the waiters are not friendly and none of them speaks English ! We did not receive the plate we ordered. The music is very too loud, it’s impossible to talk. Finally, the table was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves.

Fresh and tasty guacamole, same as tacos and other Mexican dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, the place is set to charge as much as possible. 28% tax is simply ridiculous, plus if you don't leave a sufficient tip on top of the bill the waiter gets upset, unbelievable...

Wide assortment of taco fillings to try different types. Went twice during our honeymoon, and were very satisfied both times. The quesadilla and nachos are also very good. Loved the atmosphere there. There ended up being a Michael Jackson impersonator that danced to Billie Jean while we were there. :)

Extremely expensive, and when my fried tried to pay they charged her bank account with even more money. These are straight-up fraudsters. My phone was also stolen, I suspect this was coordinated with staff.

A very nice and friendly restaurant in the Bavaro area. Our family ordered about 20 tacos to-go and they did a great job of wrapping them up.

Dined here while on vacation in punta cana, sat at the bar area and had quesadillas. Some of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had. Chicken quesadilla and the shrimp quesadilla were great!! The bartender was really nice and they played great music

Every portion came with a bit of guacamole on the side which was amazing, all the dishes we took were tasty, nothing exceptional but overall pretty good. There was a live performance on the next bar and we could perfectly enjoy it as well. Suggested for a quick dinner!

Horrible Place!!! They told me one price for the bill and then the girl came back and told me she messed up on the total and that the bill was double the price all of a sudden. 4 beers cost $40 American dollars. Further to this the service was terrible. They didn't have any of the main beers or wine options and the beers that they did bring were warm. "Do not"!!! I repeat do not!! pay in American dollars they rip you off and make up their own exchange rate . We ate and had drinks at other locations near by and their exchange rate was way off . The service was terrible. They have no wine, they had no Coronas, no Presidente and the beer they had was piss warm. Do yourself a favor and just go next door to Kats corner .

Brutally overpriced, the filling of the tacos was dry without exception (we ordered 4 different types), service was very slow. Our waitress was very nice to us hence the two stars instead of 1.

Food was good. Service typical in DR slow. But the music. Sorry to me just to loud. Can’t even talk to the person you are with. It ok for music as ambiance. This not a night club though and being.able to talk to other people kind of important at dinner. I won’t go back in the evening again for that reason

Get the pastor tacos, they're great! Excellent service and food. The music is a bit loud, but it's good music. Ask for the extra hot sauce (muy picante salsa) for your tacos, it's fantastic if you like really spicy food. Kids loved the strawberry juice too. It's not too sugary, just right!

We checked the price in the menu online before going. However, the prices are i20-50% increased in the menu at the restaurant. Fun fact if you use the QR-code on the table, it will open the menu available online with the original prices😅 Once asked to the waitress what was the reason of the increased prices she couldn’t really answer besides that the online menu was only for drinks, however also the food is listed with the original prices! Not recommended at all, there are several better restaurant option around the area!

So bad, please don’t come here. They just don’t know how to make Mexican food, the enchiladas were just coated in Ragu and some tasteless cheese. The food took an hour to arrive which we anticipated because everywhere in the area takes a while. The nachos were more of the cheap cheese melted on top. The salmon was not bad but that’s just not a tough (or Mexican) dish , salt and pepper and it was just fine. Very disappointing for the price $140. They also brought us completely hard , old or undercooked rice, we sent it back.

Love the place, delicious food and drinks

The place was really dirty, both tables and chairs. All covered in dust. Food was tasty and qiuck prepared (we were the only guests) but definitely too expensive. In addition we did not receive the glasses to our coke and we had to drink it from the bottle.

Food was okay with large portions. But check your bill at the end and ensure they don’t charge you extra or wrongly. No ac at the restaurant.

My gf and I explored 3 separate parts of Dominican Republic over the course of 3 weeks. Of the 50-70 meals we had, this was #1. Nothing was better. Their tacos especially were incredible; you could taste the quality. Bonus points beyond that, we met the owner who gave us his # and even delivered food to our hotel! We couldn't be happier -- eat here!
