We went for drinks. Ordered 3 drinks. 10% tip is always automatically charged. We left and additional 10%. So in total we left the guy 20% tip. He came to us and said you need to write a million dollars. We thought he was joking. He then scribbled out my tip and said it was nothing. We spoke to the manager, nothing was done. Next day, charge on my card was almost 50% tip. It’s a shameful way of taking advantage of people. Avoid this place!!!

We have fallen in love with this place. Staff so kind, and welcoming. Food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Drinks and cocktails are delicious as well.

We've been here at least 10 times now. It is and remains the best place to relax / good food / good atmosphere / nice cocktails and good staff who are very friendly. Very big and good lobster! Cooked to perfection!

Did not expect to have the best wings I’ve ever had in the DR, but I sure did here. I came more than once. Definitely worth the visit just for the wings and the ranch, it’s open late and the staff is incredibly friendly. Would come here again and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting PC.

Just down the road from where we were staying, easy walking distance. We had a guy stop by our table to show us a few magic tricks. All of us had great food at not a bad price. We came back a couple days later for the live band, Billy and Friends, they were great. Our wait staff was friendly and attentive.

The Food AND the service Is great. If your looking for some local flavor this Is the spot. AND they have live music there on some nights.

A very good place to eat. Juan Veloz was our delightful English/Spanish speaking server. We had the Calamari appetizer with a few sides and the steak with French fries.

Was very surprised. I was very against coming here based on the quality of the menu and the restaurant appearance. But they had a great food presentation and very tasty food. Some of the best I have eaten in Punta Cana

We spent alot if time here during our winter in Bavaro. Our Republic has a fun atmosphere, good food with a mix of locals and expats. They always took good care of us at Our Republic! Thanks Chris, Kevin, Raf and all the staff!

You cannot go wrong with this restaurant! The energetic vibe the staff provides is above and beyond. From reggae night to Latin music night, you get a variety of everything the whole family can enjoy!

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant several times when visiting Punta Cana. Their garlic shrimp, hot wings and rib dishes are amazing and a MUST try. Like others we were skeptical at first. Definitely give this place a shot if you want some good food! The Republic Burger was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious (Note: VERY spicy!) Arrived in Punta Cana on a Tuesday late afternoon, and I went a few blocks from Stanza Mare to Our Republic for some dinner. I got the shrimp mofongo and was pleasantly surprised when they setup a live band to play. The music was lively and a great performance by the band. I left to get back after a couple of cold Presidentes after a good rendition of the Stones' Miss You. The place was hoppin' with a good vibe. Food was good, but the shrimp could have been fresh instead of frozen. The place is 4.5 stars in my book. Service was also good and attentive. Will visit again!

They gave me what were clearly just heated fish sticks and our shrimp cocktail had 5 shrimps and it cost $20. The server was super nice but it’s very overpriced for what it is

They make up their own conversion rate at this restaurant. The food was okay, but I would exchange us dollars back home before traveling to this area of punta cana. Apparently, all the restaurants in this vinicty have their own conversion rate. What should have been 25 us dollars came to 60. They are ripping people of at this restaurant if you don't pay attention.

The best food in this area! Me and my boyfriend ordered a paella for 2 persons (which was said in the menu). It was so good and delicious 🤤 !!! And too much even for two people!!! Nice service and atmosphere.

My wife had pork chops and I had grilled chicken. Both were fantastic! And of course the staff filled the place with the wonderful Dominican vibes that made the whole experience a 10/10

The bartender made an amazing Coco Loco but some of the servers walk around and act like thugs. The energy is pompous and the place is overpriced and food took forever to come out. It is not a welcoming atmosphere.

Best bar in Bavaro! They treat you like family here and the Caipirinhas are AMAZING. The food is great too. We stayed in the area for a week, and this was hands down the best location to hang out, watch soccer and have drinks! ❤

Very bad food. Grilled stale vegetables twice! And the seafood was too salty and too sour. Horrible! Never come back again

Basic at best. Was super excited to find mofongo. When it arrived I was sure it was mofongo with cat food on top disguised as beef. Chicken Alfredo was also very basic. Please dont get me stated with the salad. As well as the pina colada. Service was decent and people are nice. Would not visit again when in need of food. Also, the food was way overpriced. I paid over 60$ American for the worse meal I had in the Dominican Republic.
