So much fun here!! Our kids love all the dinosaurs, animals and hands on activities. So much to read and learn here. We've been so many times and still haven't read it all. Extra activities on the weekends, at least once a month and special offers for members are available, too! They have clean bathrooms & their staff are kind and helpful as well! (There is an elevator for those that need it too, woo!) We highly recommend Sam Noble Museum!

We drove down from Tulsa to visit with our 3 1/2 year old because he’s very into dinos right now. The museum itself is very nice and clean. Tons to look at but even more to read. If you’re a reader this is a great museum for you. There is a kids discovery room that was very hands-on and interactive - great for the kids to take a break and play. The gift shop is wonderful too, they even have some $1.50 dinosaurs & bugs which was a nice surprise as usually museum gift shops can be expensive. All in all it was a great museum & I wish I’d had more time to explore and read but my 3 year old was ready to move on pretty quickly so I think we will wait & try to visit again when he’s a little older. If we were local we would visit more often!

We had an absolute blast my daughter has been wanting to see dinosaur bones and this was only an hour and a half from our house. Spent a good 3 hours looking at everything and just enjoying ourselves. Large Variety in their gift shop also. Great place to visit for adults and kids.

A very nice look into the wildlife and First People of the local area. had very clever and informative displays and the 'Dinovator' was very well executed. unfortunately couldn't stay as long as I'd have liked because the entire main hall reeked of gasoline, which permeated into the exhibit areas (though thankfully not the front entrance).

This was a lot of fun, and the best part was meeting Nance, who, after telling her it was our first time visiting, gave us a tour in the bone section. She had personally been on several digs herself along with years at some of the best museums. She was knowledgeable and funny and made the experience that much more fun. Besides that, the rest of the museum was awesome and educational, and we had an excellent time. Can't wait to go back with the kids.

This is a spectacular museum. The displays are well done. The collections are awesome. Just don't take an eight year old boy and expect to read anything. I shall return on my own.

It has lots of different sections there's an art section and a bunch of animal in nature sections there's also a store section where you can buy a bunch of different Little Things a gift shop. There's also a cave on Story 2 that you can go inside of it tells you about stalactites and stalagmites and a whole bunch of other things inside of case hanging from the top of the caves on the first floor there's a giant man with a statue of a man holding a spear that's pretending to be about to kill Mammoth.

Amazing experience here with my children. Every exhibit fascinated my young kids and you could truly see their little brains absorbing all of the information. There is some thing here for every age and level of education and I’m really thankful that we visited. The staff , However, made our experience an absolute five-star experience. The people at the front desk were so welcoming and helpful, but the lady in the gift shop likely left us with such a great impression of the museum. She was so helpful in finding my children the stickers that they wanted, and going to look for shirt sizes for our youngest because he loved the design. I’ve never seen someone go above and beyond to make my family and my children feel like they were so special for just wanting to buy a T-shirt. Thank you for not only pouring into educating the community, spending so much time putting together these exhibits, but also hiring such great people to be the face of this amazing museum.

There was hardly anyone there and it’s a holiday weekend. My kids enjoyed the discovery center. There were family restrooms with baby changing stations which made diaper changes easy. Very spacious and lots of exhibits with interactive stations for toddlers and older children. They offer veteran and active duty discounts for admission. 3 and under were free.

This is one of, if not the best, Natural History Museum I have ever had the pleasure of visiting in my life. Clean, educational, entertaining, and beautiful, just stunning. Never crowded! Has a simple, but fun gift shop as well! Thumbs up all around! Norman/OKC is definitely one of the best places to visit for attractions similar to this.

Well worth the admission fee, easily spent almost 3 hours in here looking through every exhibit. We especially appreciate the dinosaurs but the advantage they took in creating these spaces is amazing.

Some of the exhibits were pretty dry for a 5 year old, but the bones and fossils were a hit!

We took our daughter to the museum for her first ever visit for her 4th birthday. She loved the interactive portions of the Rainforest exhibit as well as getting to see all the ancient creatures! Her favorite dinosaur exhibit was the pentaceratops where we got to speak with an awesome volunteer lady and imagine riding the pentaceratops home from the museum!

Really enjoyed visiting the museum with my granddaughter who regaled us with all her 5 year old knowledge of dinosaurs (and she knows everything). There is way too much to see and do in one visit so we are considering getting a membership so she can return as often as she wants. And she will have to take her Pop-Pop with her.

I recently got hired to draw caricatures at this place... I love the energy there... It was easy to do my job... Because of the great staff and the good feelings I experienced while I was there.... There are so many great spectacles to view. I was also very impressed with how everything looked...This place makes the museum experience very exciting... I was drawing in front marble dinosaur that had to be about 20 feet tall.... That was awesome... I felt like a kid all over again while I was doing my grown up passion....It was an overall great experience for me....

Dinosaurs once walked through Oklahoma’s landscape and we can experience and explore the impact they had on our planet. Explore more about dinosaurs and how they evolved and lived by visiting Sam Noble Oklahoma museum of natural history. Interactive learning!

I love the Sam Noble Museum in Norman. It is a wonderful place to take family, friends, and students. They are always helpful, accept purchase orders, and make it easy for everyone to get around easily. The gift shop is a wonderful spot to shop for interesting gifts.

Recently moved to Oklahoma specifically to continue my education in Paleontology, so I figured I would check out this museum. It is remarkable! The Hall of Ancient life does a fantastically thorough job of detailing the history of life on earth, from the earliest microorganisms (3 billion years ago), all the way through to the Pleistocene (10,000 years ago). Their Pentaceratops mount is incredibly eye catching, as is their mount of Saurophaganax, an Oklahoma native and the largest known Allosaur! It is an incredibly great institution, and I highly recommend a visit if you are at all interested in the amazing history of life on earth!

Great place to take kids of any age, especially during the hot months. I took my son (age 12) and he enjoyed it. I was amazed at the size of the dinosaurs. Also, there were lots of fun activities for younger children throughout the museum.

I visited this museum just as things were starting to open back up after COVID. I wasn’t quite sure how long I would stay there as I had no idea on the scale of the museum itself. But upon entering the museum, I was met with a massive collection of natural history and prehistoric displays. They even have a Guinness book record holder among their collection. I was here for hours and everyone I thought I was done, there yet another hall to explore. Highly recommend for anyone interested in natural history. I started to understand and appreciate how massive some animals were during prehistoric times. The sheer size of some of these animals is immense.
