This place will leave you speechless. It is a really cozy place and all the food is made from local products mostly harvested by themselves. All the dishes were so tasty and well prepared. The mean they served was so delicious. I have to say this is my favorite place in Sicily from now on. Thank you guys for the service you are offering

Great food and service, however they don't really know what "a la carte" means. They only offer menus, even though they keep insisting that it is "a la carte". I paid 20 eur for antipasti and a small pasta portion

Great experience, food as if cooked by Italian mama :) very good deal with the lunch menu (we paid 25 eur pp for antipasti, first, dessert, coffee and water) and we left full and happy 😇

What a great place! A true authentic Sicilian experience with all local food, great hospitality. This is what Sicily is all about. Very reasonably priced - 4 courses for 25 euro. If around, go here👍🏻

Well hidden but amazing food. It feels very rural and the hosts are nice. Well worth the travel.

If I could get this restaurant 18 stars, I would. We stopped in for lunch on our way from Menfi going to Erice. Not only was the food absolutely super Nother let’s originality but in its honest representation of typical Sicilian cuisine! besides that, it was a really really unique experience driving up to their home which had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and rock formations. Combined that we were the only ones there, wonderful hospitality of the host made this a really special lunch for family. I also felt it was good value for the money.

Stella and Francesco are so welcoming, they make a beautiful meal and make you feel at home! The menu is all local produce and changes daily depending on what is available, we ended up going multiple nights in a row because we loved it so much! Would definitely recommend eating here for an authentic home cooked Sicilian meal.

My girlfriend and I had a great evening at Francesco and Stella’s! The food was delicious, truly Sicilian, and inexpensive. We were the only guests at the restaurant (Wednesday night, early January) and shared a romantic meal together. Wine was local and great as well.

A good place to have a taste of local cuisine. Located on top of the hill, the restaurant is very spacious and nicely decorated. When booking, it was explained to us that there was not an "à la carte" menu and that, instead, they had a variety of starters, then a selection in the pasta course, in the meat course and in the desserts as well as that they could only accept cash as payment. The food was simple but delicious and the hosts quite attentive and friendly although, on one occasion some cutlery was missing and no side order was proposed with the meat of our choice (we asked for a salad when we realised that the meat was served on its own). The bill was very reasonable and the owner also applied a discount. The place has good potential of becoming a little gem.

We had such an amazing time at La Casetta. I love that they have a little play area for kids to enjoy while parents are eating. La Casetta is one of my top 5 favorite restaurants now

We were very excited to try this home cooking restaurant after reading such good reviews. When we arrived we were given a table in a closed area for just us. No other tables were around. As we sat down we were presented by a local bottle of water and half a bottle of carafe wine. We were 2 people so we ordered an antipasto each. My partner had a primo which consisted of an overcooked pasta with tomato sauce and garlic and topped with almonds. Since I only eat small portions I opted for only a secondo. I had veal chops which was as thin as a piece of paper. We had no dessert. When we asked for the bill we were told to pay cash only as since they had no permits yet to operate as a restaurant they do not accept cards. We were also told that water and wine and cover charge was free but the bill was a round charge of €50! The €50 went straight into the pocket of the owner with no receipt given. A BIG NO and a total rip off!!!
