I joined the Shrewsbury branch of TSPC in 2022 when it first started. It has been so lovely to learn great songs, perform in a variety of locations, and make so many new friends. Coming together with all choirs and the orchestra is very very special. And I feel very proud to be a part of it. Highly recommend!!

I've been singing tenor for about 20 years with different choirs, and performed more concerts than I can remember I joined the Peoples Show choir mainly for the fact they perform with a full orchestra, I find it so inspiring !! and the Peoples Show choir has more than met my expectations. Its a friendly relaxed atmosphere but we do still work hard to master the different pieces. I can thoroughly recommend them for novice and more experience singers, the quality of the musical directors and the support material is excellent, you get plenty of opportunities to perform, and its all for charity. I joined this choir two years ago and it was one of the best things I have done. The instructors in the choir are extremely professional and you learn so much from them whilst having fun. The other members in the choirs are so welcoming that you soon make friends. Participating in the choir is a most uplifting experience and after each rehearsal you are left with such a feel good factor. If you enjoy singing and love music then come and join us, there are two taster sessions which are free so you decide for yourself but you won’t be disappointed.

I have already sung in many choirs. But never with an orchestra. A wonderful experience. There's a family atmosphere at rehearsals, lots of laughter and yet we all learn new songs quickly. Our conductor and pianist are wonderful people, I hope more people will discover all the pluses of taking part in classes and performances.

I have belonged to one of the Peoples Choirs for a few months now and taking part in a concert with several other choirs in the group and The People's Orchestra, was one of the most uplifting experiences of my life! I joined the choir earlier this year, having never been part of a choir before I didn't know what to expect. It couldn't have been easier! I turned up, people chatted to me and made me feel so welcome. It was so inspiring to join together with the other choirs and orchestra to perform recently. People were so friendly. The experience was uplifting and professionally led. I can't wait for our new term to start. I would urge anyone to come and have a go.

I joined the People's Show Choir in May 2023 and have loved every minute. The repertoire is just so uplifting and Joyful that I really look forward to the weekly rehearsals as it is such a happy atmosphere. Don't hesitate to join if you love to sing ....you won't look back and will be rewarded with great camaraderie and a spring in your step!
