    Shona is an absolutely brilliant teacher. No class is ever the same & she really makes them interesting & challenging. Not only this but she cares about each individual student & if necessary adapts the exercises to suit their needs. Every class is fun & the class members are really welcoming. Couldn’t ask for better.

    I love Shona’s classes. I usually run away from any form of group exercise and initially went along with a friend thinking I wouldn’t stick at it - a year later and I wouldn’t give it up. Shona has a wicked sense of humour, is so down to earth and creates a really safe space for everyone to work hard and have fun.

    I can’t rate Shona at All Abilities highly enough. This brilliant, dedicated Teacher is amazing. My core strength and stamina has improved dramatically since I have been going to her classes.

    Shona is amazing and really helps you work to your full potential. She recognises your weaknesses but also your strengths. I joined at the beginning of 2023 and I love it. It’s not only good for you physically but mentally too.

    Shona is an incredible teacher and always makes sure there's a variety of exercises each week, adapting them to the needs of the class. When I joined, I'd never really done Pilates and now I can't really imagine life without it and that's all down to Shona. I can't recommend Shona enough. No matter what is going on, for one hour a week I can completely switch off and feel massively uplifted for the week ahead.

    Pilates is an essential part of my life to keep my aging body strong and safe. I love Shona's classes where I'm encouraged to improve with appropriate challenges (and humour) in the company of supportive and friendly classmates.

    Shona's down to earth approach and sense of humour make the classes fun. My rheumatoid arthritis has improved considerably since starting pilates in February and I really look forward to going each week. Totally recommend to anyone considering thinking of joining.

    Pilates with Shona has changed my life! I am stronger, more flexible, and pain free. Back pain is a thing of the past. Shona is dynamic, understanding, kind and incredibly skilled. Her ability to make every class interesting, different and challenging whilst meeting the needs of a diverse bunch of students is second to none. It is my weekly retreat and restoration.

    I have attended Pilates classes with Shona for years, which is a testament to her as I never stick at anything!! Shona is absolutely committed to Pilates and spends most of the lesson walking around, making sure that positions are correctly held and explaining those exercises and benefits. Her lesson plans are varied each week and involve a manner of availability props - rollers, bands etc. and the abilities are mixed, from complete beginners through to those more experienced. She will always offer assistance and alternative exercises to those struggling with injuries. However the reason I go to Pilates is because of Shona - she is a wonderful and caring teacher, with a wicked sense of humour, and absolutely dedicated to her classes.

    This is a great studio and Shona is a fantastic teacher. I feel so much fitter and more supple after just a couple of months and my posture is already improving. All the exercises are explained really clearly and Shona is particularly attentive to any injuries or issues you may have, tailoring the individual excersize accordingly. I would highly recommend these classes and always leave smiling as well as with feeling I have a more lengthened spine!

    Shona is a brilliant, experienced and knowledgeable teacher with a great sense of humour. Classes are always fun and different every week and Shona encourages us to stretch ourselves to our individual limits, checking each of us constantly throughout the class that we’re doing everything correctly. Exercises are always adjusted for anyone with injuries or health issues, so whether just starting or more advanced we all get the best out of her classes. Been doing Shona’s Pilates for a few years and couldn’t recommend her more highly. And you’ll get a warm inclusive welcome from the lovely bunch who do the classes too!

    My friend and myself started this class in February, this year. I have not done Pilates before, Shona is a brilliant teacher and I would highly recommend her classes. I am really enjoying Pilates and wish I had done it before. All the class made us very welcome and they are a lovely bunch of people. Thank you everyone.

    I have found Shona's classes really helpful. Each lesson is different and her attention to detail is excellent. All abilities are welcome and it is always a friendly atmosphere.

    I have been attending Shona's Pilates classes for nearly four years and have never looked back - so much stronger, fitter, slimmer. I cannot recommend her highly enough - a lovely lady and fabulous teacher.

    Began Shona's class in April 2017. Started with once a week, now its 2 classes a week. Twice as much work but it feels like getting twice the benefits 👍 Fitness and flexibility have greatly improved and I've since bought my own roller and magic circle to do the exercises at home. And her teaching style accommodates everyone whether you're a beginner or experienced 🙂

    I absolutely love these Pilates classes. I'm already beginning to feel the benefit and have only been doing it for 6 weeks. Shona is a fun instructor and every week is very different. I'm so glad I joined.

    We have been attending this class for the last few years now, find them very beneficial and have greatly improved our flexibility and core strength. Shona is very professional and takes your health and ability level very seriously, making sure that you improve but do not over do it. Classes are fun and enjoyable.

    Having attended for several years and now feeling more flexible than ever I can thoroughly recommend these classes. Attendees individual physical abilities/needs are sympathetically worked with and met without judgment, risk of injury or embarrassment. All of this is topped off with a sense of humour and genuine enthusiasm that’s positively infectious.

    Joined after lockdown and I'm already a new man. Having a teacher who actually cares and quickly learns the individual needs of her students makes such a difference!
