Indian's one of the best dental college and hospital. Every day thousands of patients are treated here with a charge of 2 rupees. They always try hard to give us service. They don't deserve only 5 star. They deserve more than anything. Free medicines also given.

Worst experience ever at Dr R Ahmed Dental College and Hospital. If you want to get your problem worse, then visit here. Such a worse place. I visited here for tooth extraction. First they told to be in queue. I waited 4 hours in queue, then doctor told me to come after 3 months for extraction. I went after 3 month, one bald, skinny dentist used manual tools to extract my teeth (no automatic removal), which caused so much pain. Then when I returned home and cleaned my blood, i found out that the doctor has removed only half of my teeth and half germ infected teeth was still in between my gums and was not taken out properly due to which it caused so much pain even till days after and it may have caused infection also. I never had such a careless treatment ever before. I would strongly recommend that even if takes little expense, thene also visit a proper dentist. The hospital and doctors here are worst to rely upon. What would I do of free medicines and x-ray, if the main thing which is treatment is not done well and lives of people are put at risk.

The experience is terrible. Instead of picking up my mother's broken tooth, they pulled out a good tooth, And that good tooth breaks and stays inside when you pick it up. This is the result of an attempt by an inexperienced doctor or This is probably a student who is currently undergoing training to extract the tooth.

Maybe this place is good for diagnosis. I don't know whether they take the issue of treatments seriously or not. After checking the issue (for which I had to visit 2 days.), they said they will call me for the final treatment. Even they took the measurements. But months passed. I didn't receive any call from them. I don't what kind of 'facility' this is.

1.If you go for a check up, they call you many times, it takes whole day for just single work, and that also I didn't mind but the main reason is 2. #Dr bhupendra Kaur she is extremely rude, bad behaviour and she doesn't allow to speak others, I called her many to take an appointment but no response, I wish government should take her job because she is not at survice to people,. She is just enjoying government job and money because of her I left my treatment in the middle. I couldn't find any another govt hospital except this so finally i came to private hospital with no option 😰

Here, you can get any kind of dental problem solved for just 2 rupees. It is very time consuming but works very well. The OPD starts from 9 am to 4 pm. It takes a long time to get treatment here because it is completely government and the amount of money is very low, so people come from far and wide to get treatment here, resulting in huge crowd. Apart from seeing a doctor, X-rays are done free of cost and medicines are also available free of charge if prescribed by a doctor.

The worst dental hospital you could get. I do understand that it is free of cost but what about the value of time. They will make you wait in queue for hours and then suggest you to come after 4 months. And when you visit after that they will say we don't have equipment/preferred doctor right now and will ask to come again after 1-2 week. Please look to any alternate option rather than wasting your time going here.

Everything, from examining to tooth extraction is done by junior interns, some of them are very rude, even to elderly persons, must be taught soft skills, more counters needed, extra ordinary rush, proper hygiene not maintained, more seating arrangement needed for elders

Great.Remarks All the recent updates regarding the stream are quickly incorporated. All varieties of problems are looked after with care. There is a massive opportunity for learning directly in the field as it is a teaching hospital. The admission is through a centralised NEET exam whose date keeps changing from year to year. This is one of the best dental colleges in India and also the oldest in the subcontinent. The functioning and daily and rapid improvement of the college does justice to its legacy. Course Curriculum Overview 10/10 This course provides clinical practice and includes a sort of art with respect to detailed and intricate treatment. Every department has a proper number of faculties to tend to student needs. All the faculties have completed masters in their degree and have years of practising expertise and the teaching method is incredibly interactive. Exams happen once a year after the internals with a month's gap and it is a little difficult to pass without being regular. Course Fees : INR 15000 Internships Opportunities 10/10 The internship is a must for getting registration as a doctor and completing the degree. It is provided under the government of West Bengal in the hospital itself. Hence, it is a good opportunity to learn and earn at the same time. Placement Experience 10/10 Everyone gets paid internship and house staffship and the payment is sufficient. It is mandatory for getting the registration. After the 4th year, this internship is provided and the salary is around 30-40k per month. Loan/ Scholarship Provisions There is minimal fee hike and the cost is affordable even though there's expenditure needed behind a lot of instruments but most of the things needed are provided by the labs themselves. There are quota scholarships and the internship and house staff ships after the 4th year are provided with stipends. Campus Life 7/10 A fest occurs every 2-3 years and most sports take place throughout the years and every cultural function is given importance too and due to an all India variety of students, there is a lot of cultural and social diversity. Hostel Facilities 10/10 All sorts of facilities are provided with security, electricity, cleaning and water. Food is provided by canteens. Registration is a bit difficult as people come from major distances but the seats are never enough for the girl's hostel.

Honestly speaking First experience is average for my side ... Some staff behaviour is good but there are so many staff are rudely behave with me and others. I don't know why That's it.

The experience was worst, have waited for long after checkup i went to orthodontics chembur, as i already have braces from outside but because of emergency i visited there for a small help but they denied that they will not touch the outsiders ongoing treatment, if it was paid i think they will definitely help, but because of free that's why they are not helping, if that's matter then why don't they mention earlier, so we no need to waste that much time there, the wait time is longer.

I don't know government is looking on the managing system or not. Govt. Should keep sharp view on this. Rude behaviour of staff, doctors too less experience, handling patient not good, treatment is worst.

This hospital is very good and all the doctors are so friendly with patients, you don't have to worry about cost, because it's totally free! You just have to get a ticket for 2 rupees and that's the only cost you have to bear. You can get any of your dental problems fixed here. For example, I had an open bite problem 1.5 years ago and I went there, they cured my open bite, though the treatment is still going and doctors say it will take about 6 more months to complete my treatment procedure.

The treatment they give is good. But the time they take is really really long. The treatment which can be done in 2_3 years they will drag it to 5-6 years. I understand it's a government hospital the pressure is high but after all you are doctors right don't take that much time when it's not necessary. I am devastated from inside. Though everyone is not same. Some doctors are really good, helpful whereas some are arrogant (sometimes it's also patience fault) don't do their work properly. The process becomes slower when it goes from one Dr to another with the end of session. They don't take it seriously.I think HOD sir or whoever is in the chair should check up regularly if their patients are getting proper treatment or not. Once it was the best dental college and hospital, now everyone knows you can't deny it. I'm not here to spread any hearted. I'm just another patient who came here with a hope in my heart but it's 8 years I didn't get my said result. I don't have any patience left nor hope. Please see and take the steps required so that the patients can get their desirable results. Hope the condition will get better.
