This place is really nice. You can learn a lot of basic things inside it. It is clean and well maintained. There is even a small park for children inside the parameter along with some touch of scientific innovation. Overall an enjoyable place.

Maximum things are not maintained. All the things are either broken or don't work. Not a place to take your kids if you want to teach them something. Staff are friendly and help you in case of assistance.

District science centre purulia is one of the main attraction of Purulia.It is situated in Lake road about 1.5 km from purulia railway station.It is an exhibition of scientific phenomenon.Idols of many scientists are established outside the main building.Local culture of Purulia is also flashed here.

A fun place to bring kids.. Have a lot of interesting science tools. You can learn while having fun. There's a planetarium show and a 3D show, which is worth watching. Though some of the equipment are not working in order, it's still a fun place if you are visiting for the first time.

One of the major interesting visiting place in Purulia ! As the name suggests this place is all about science, many scientific model of different phenomenon can be seen here like optical illusions, visualising sounds, infinite well and many more ! The place has its own department for life science which consists of basic life sciences like human body and cell. "Wealth of Purulia" is a room full with knowledge about the history and wealth of the city of Purulia itself. Apart form the main science building the place is equipped with a park for children to play with beautiful walkway round it, also consisting of some instruments that depict some physics knowledge ! The entry fees is only Rs.15/- per person !

It is a matter of pride that small town like purulia had a science museum like this . It has wonderful science equipments and information. It's highly entertaining. Children will grow more interest in science after visiting science museum. It also has has dinosour parks , different animals . Museum arranges science shows , 3d show and planetarium show . The ticket value is pretty less . All package includes rs 40 each . Though , some of it's equipments are not in order . the maintenance should be done properly
