For small problems they tell to get admitted and charge expensive rates. They say to get admitted for one week but they stretch to 30 days. People who are mentally stable become mentally depressed after going there. Not worth.

The hospital facilities are excellent but the treatment procedures I was not satisfied with. Here patients are kept with medications and no psychological counselling is done over here. My IQ test was done by 3 psychology students cum interns even when the assessments were done I was having high temperature fever. Then later Fr.Edward told my IQ is below average due to which I had to face lot of problems from my family regarding my further studies but later on when I did my IQ test the report shows different from what was done here. My intention is not to defame this mental institution but trust is built with good practices and ethical services. Today after 12 years I have reached in heights but what has not changed in me is my trust and attitude towards such mental institutions. People come to such mental institutions with lot of hope and expectations but what you get here is disappointment. Is that not enough a reason to never avail the service?

Had the worst experience as a hospital. Been there for a councelling session and they wanted to admit the patient for no reason. they tried to do several unnecessary tests and most importantly the behaviour of Fr Edward was disgusting. Never expected such a behaviour from a person with such responsibilities. Will never ever suggest this place to anybody. (Giving the single star coz i can't post this without that rating.)

Most dreadful place ever. Just lost a very dear elderly gentleman who is a close family friend. He and his wife were admitted to this hospital for care and treatment since their children were abroad and unable to come to India due to Covid. The deterioration of this lovely old couple came swiftly within days of being admitted to this place. So to say that their relatives had to shift them to a different old age home. The people at Santhula were so nasty and extremely money minded and shameless to even charge an exorbitant price for the clothes that they were provided to wear. The priest in charge of this lunatic institution is extremely nasty and conceited. No sane human being will be able to survive in this hell. If there were any option to give negative stars, it will be -5 stars.

From my experience, this place is not good for your loved ones. The care they have given to my father was absolutely ridiculous. They usually give high doses of medicine to calm down the patients irrespective of their other health problems. My father walked to the facility with assist and after 4 days he was bedridden So not recommended.

If you're looking for a de addiction centre.... Dont come here...... The things they write on the internet about the facilities are ridiculous. If you truly care for your loved ones look for a better option. It's totally a business minded institution. The money you have to invest is out of space. Forget the money... Let it be..... If it is to give your loved one the proper care. The staff especially the nurses are not friendly. They are short tempered and doesn't give any respect to anyone. The medicines they give.... If you say to them that he has some temper issues they suddenly give them a medicine..... They give medicine without any precaution. My uncle had to take around 25 pills a day.... A dont know why. All these medicines had drastic effects on him. He completely lost his mind. They dont give any type of counselling.... They totally depend on these medicines. Everyone is accommodated in a dormitory or a room which is inside a steel cage. It's literally like a prison. The leisure activities they say is only for an hour in the evening.... They rest of the time they are inside this cell playing cards or sleeping. It's a hell. Most people stop drinking or any other addictions because of this torture. I cant see why the human rights commission is not interested in these cases.

The hospital is located in a calm and secluded area with a peaceful ambience, which in our observation is very helpful for the patients. The staff are very dedicated and professional. They handle and interact with patients with good care and understanding. There is good coordination amoung the team of psychiatrists and psychologists in not only ensuring that the patient makes good recovery, but also in helping the family of the patient to understand, handle and cope with the diagnosed illness. Would certainly recommend this hospital to anyone who is seeking best care and treatment for their loved ones.

An opportunity to work with Santhula came my way quite unexpectedly. I was curious to know more about Santhula and came across some google reviews. To be honest i felt disheartened when i saw some of the comments. I then enquired about the experience people had from the hospital. Their positive response regarding the same was a relief. I am now really glad that i got the opportunity to associate with Santhula. The team of psychiatrists, psychologists and psychiatric social workers, were dedicated and sincere. Their genuine commitment to serve brought me hope and motivation.
