Good place for Sabari Malai travelers, located in Kozhancheri a small town on the way from Chenganur to Nilakkal. Meals was good, they said it was part of the Tirunelveli Arya Bhavan. A/c dining seating was bit tight but they had a good air-conditioning, 5 tables were there. Non a/c had around 15 tables. Parking facilities are good, service was good and I would recommend this place for a south Indian meal.

I used to visit here very often. But nowadays my husband n I both are having stomach upset after eating from here. I think it is very unhygienic 😪. Really disappointed cos this was the only decent veg option that was available in Pathanamthitta and kozhencherry.

They don't accept UPI payments. There is a notice showing UPI transactions are not allowed. Instead of printing that notice they can print a QR code there to receive payments.

This eatery right outside sannidhanam in Sabarimala is thronged by famished swamis and devotees but to our utter disappointment the food was of poor quality. The place is not clean and hygiene is absolutely bad. We left the food after taking 1 bite and saw many others also leaving their food items half eaten. This place needs a good overhaul.

This is our go to restaurant whenever we feel like having authentic South Indian dishes or meals. I specially like the masala dosa. The tea and coffee are also very good. The service is super quick despite the fact that the place is mostly crowded. The one thing that is not understood is that they still do not use any UPI payment apps and rely on cash. I mean these days even a vegitable vendor has a digital payment option.

Arya bhavan is situated just beside the main petrol pump in kozhencherry. The food is great and the service is on par. I had the ghee masala dosa along with filter coffee. The ghee masala dosa has genuine amount of filling and they serve it with coconut chutney, ginger chutney, sambar and a crisp vada too. Overall the food and service is good and this place is a value for money.
