Bisilahalli Shri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Devasthana

Tourist attraction Hindu temple

👍👍 We visit this temple very often. The deity is Lakshmi Narasimha. This place is very vibrant and positive energy can be felt all around. It is located on Chikkabalapur - Gauribidanur highway. The exact name of this village is Bisilahalli. The deity is on a hill inside the cave. The walkway is not so... People often mention temple,

We visit this temple very often. The deity is Lakshmi Narasimha. This place is very vibrant and positive energy can be felt all around. It is located on Chikkabalapur - Gauribidanur highway. The exact name of this village is Bisilahalli. The deity is on a hill inside the cave. The walkway is not so steep, and not difficult to climb. As this is on a very remote hill, it is not open in the evening. The temple is open throughout the year. Try to be here in the mornings between 8.00am - 1.00pm.

Temple is located on a small hill, inside a cave or between 2 huge boulders. The Lord and the Godess are in sublime form here. There are steps alongside a railing that would lead/assist you to walk upto the temple. The priest here is a very old person who is particular about carrying out the routine Puja and very persistent which was good to see. While we waited for over 30 mins, he carried out the puja/alankar and nivedya before opening the door for the devotees to see the Lord and Godess. One thing I feel that was lacking in the temple sanctum is the light. The light from the deepam is not enough to get a satisfying view of the dieties. A light inside would help satisfy the devotees who come from far off places to see the dieties.

Excellent location with peaceful environment. Great divine power. Infront of temple Lake is there backside huge forest. Just 1.5 km from chikkaballapura to manchenalli road. Little scary for couples and nuclear family. It's not recommended to go out of the temple area. Jobless people with bad intention is more dangerous than Wild animals in the forest side behind the temple hill.

Very Divine experience with serene nature around. Since there are a lot monkeys near the temple, it is advisable to carry everything in a closed bag with possibly a stick, so that monkeys are afraid to come close to you
