Best place to visit weekends nearby Tada for all sorts of activities like Trekking, waterfalls, place to relax especially with friends and families and for couples too. We can bring our own food and have while trekking. Canteen is available for water bottles, snacks items etc. Food option not available. Nooo UPI payment or any type of card payments are accepted throughout the journey into waterfalls. Hence pls carry cash with you. Carry plenty of water with you. Once u crossed the parking zone no food, no Network coverage throughout the trip.. We enjoyed our trekking and we reached the top of the mountain waterfalls...It takes around 3K.M from your parking zone and it will take around 2 to 3hrs to climb the top of the mountain waterfalls. In between you can relax in the small streams. The depth is high on the top waterfalls hence only swimmers are recommended.

Great place to visit on weekends with your friends 🚵‍♀️👬 It tooks 3hrs to reach the top of the mountain where the waterfall is present ⛰️ In your trekking path you will see many water streams where you can sit and relax a bit While trekking towards the waterfall don't forgot to bring snacks, food, water. Canteen is available in the starting point.☕️ And carry some cash with you as they won't accept any upi payments when we visited💸 You won't get the network coverage in the trekking area. I recommend to start your trekking in the morning so that you can enjoy the whole jouney without any hurry. Tada for all sorts of activities like Trekking, swimming in the pool and relax with friends.

One of the Best Trekking place i have visited... Really its amazing if water is there.. Reaching: Please follow the way by Google map.Road condition is not good (After entering forest). There is two way to reach after entering forest. Right side road smooth and left side road is kind of drive adventure. Steep road. Both are reaching at same destination. Parking: Good parking place. You can park anywhere in the parking area. No issues. Place: Only one small canteen with little amount of Snacks, water bottles etc. Restroom is available but unmaintained. (We have to use it properly by frank). Some people will sell honey. Not sure about the quality. I have tasted, it was not good. You can bring food and eat here. Lot of family members did picnic kind of. Happy to see that. Entry to Forest: This is comes under forest location only. So entry ticket need to buy in forest office. 20 per person. 200 for car. 50 for bike i think. Way to Main Falls: 40% using normal roads and 60% using hard hill way ( Climbing Slippery Rocks, Jumping etc). Going up and Getting down is not easy task. Even youngsters is struggling, bcoz of the way. (I saw many persons returned in middle) - Guys/ medium aged people can manage - 40% girls managed to reach.My friends did it. - Not for aged people and children,leg/joint pain people pls avoid. - Safe for girls - Crystal clear water Many Falls: Main falls is not that much good. But trekking is wonderful. There is lot of small water falls, water area (kind of poll) is there. You can take bath an refresh. Amazing places. Reaching water falling place is thrilled one. Swimming is not mandatory. Full of rocks only need to be careful. Safe for ladies (Wear proper dress -cant explain more). Children always should be supervised. In first one km, there is Pool. Everyone can use and swim there. 80% family's stopped here itself. Good area for picnic. Here toilet, dress changing rooms available. No probs. Others: * Take water with you atleast 1lit. Refill the nature water in some places. Very tasty. I didn't get any cold/fever. * One water selling shop in the middle.(kind of temple). 20 per lit *Take food and some kind of snacks *Always watch your steps *Don't try adventure, many people Injured due to rocks *Avoid plastics pls Have a Happy trip.. Beautiful waterfalls, Popularly known as Tada Waterfalls. Crystal clear water flows to a big pool. People enjoy swimming in this clear waters, small fish in this fresh pool, bites us. One can enjoy trek to the falls. A filull day can be spent with family, friends & kids. Children enjoy a lot.

Excellent place to chill out with your family and friends

If you wanna trekking it is the best place to visit. How hot the climate is you can still feel the water is very chill and u can feel relaxed when you go along with your friends and family. It's a request from my side. Officers are checking the car and vehicle whether they carry alcohol or not. But people kindly respect them and avoid carrying the Alcohol to this place. We had a bad experience, between the rocks we were able to see broken glasses which is highly dangerous. Avoid drinking in tourist places. If you are drinking kindly put those empty bottles in your bag and throw it away where no one will get affected. Always think empathy and not sympathy. Thank you Don't spoil nature for your pleasure.

A 3 KM TREKKING IS ALL YOU NEED TO REFRESH YOURSELF AND EXPLORE THE MOTHER NATURE. Ubbalamadugu falls( mother falls) is located 100 km from Chennai. A perfect weekend getaway from all our busy schedule. It just takes 2 hrs to 3 hrs to reach there with the own vehicle. Once you reach the hill entrance ,you are asked to take the tokens for the vehicles. After that you will have to move toward the Base camp -1 which is parking area. Base camp-1 - From here you start walking to the next destination crossing small metal bridge and followed long mud paths which will lead to the mango pool covering a distance of 1 km trekking. Mango pool is a natural pool, making the pool by collecting the pure freezing temperature water from stream. It's 5 feet deep at max. Base camp 2- From mango pool , again you have to trek along and on the mud path till you reach a temple. This is called base camp 2. This has totally covered your distance of 1.5 km from base camp- 1. Final trek- From base camp 2 to ubbalamadugu falls is a very hard trekking and climbing of constant slippery rocks. Two places are extremely dangerous to climb. Once you reach the final spot,it's a treat for your eyes and yourself. Pure and gentle creation of nature melts all your worries and stresses away. Nice water inflow on Christmas day. MUST WEAR SHOES FOR EXTRA GRIP WHILE ROCK CLIMBING. MUST AVOID TRADITIONAL ATTIRES. TRY TO WEAR SPORTS ATTIRES FOR THE TREKKING. IF POSSIBLE,PACK YOUR FOODS AND TREK. ALWAYS GO WITH GROUP. KINDLY RESPECT MOTHER NATURE ,AVOID PLASTIC ITEMS.

Not maintaining in the road.... Drinking water not available......cantin facility very worst.... Caar entrance fees 300 very costly each person 50rs to not worth..

A great trekking place near Chennai , crowded during weekends , Rs.50 per person excluding parking cost .Tada Falls is a nice spot for trekking and enjoying a peaceful environment as the place is not as commercialized. There is a small Shiva Temple on the way to Tada waterfalls. On crossing the Shiva temple, the trek becomes difficult with big rocks and nearly 10 feet formations to climb and reach the destination.

Super falls. Very cool climate. Everyone Must go see and enjoy this falls. I really enjoy that falls. The problem is too interior place. This place have a combination of both falls and tracking

It's really a nice place for a vacation with family, friends and everyone. This place has a combination of water falls, small river, trecking, a small stretch walk. When I first visited the place I just got thrilled like going to explore a new place. Well it has its won disadvantage like there is no security at all and no shops near by even we want to buy a water bottle or a snack and even food nothing is there. Most of it has no public transport facility.

Clear water, very nice place to visit in weekend from chennai. Medicine water flow. To reach falls is too risky as my point routes are rugged. Monkey are so brilliant they can open your bag zib in silent way (Use rain cover, cover the bag and place your foot wear on it) . Upto first swimming pool (good maintance) routes are flat surface, After that first swimming pool look down and walk(slippery walk are thier) Total reach time to falls -2times from Start point to temple. (It depends upto your walk ability) Walking in water steam is too risky. No water and food in their location before enter tada water falls road a bus stand is their food is their from 9:30am.(arcot chicken Biriyani good).

There are multiple pools for you to take a dip in. Try to avoid the very first pool as it is the most unclean and contaminated one due to large crowds and a relatively stagnant water. Families can travel safely till the second mini pool. There's one steep climb after the third pool that would require some fitness. Up top, you have a slim but beautiful waterfall. (Ask the locals / tourists or see recent google reviews if falls is having water or not before planning a trip)
