I’ve been visiting Bang Bang since moving to a nearby apartment complex over a year ago. I ate mostly plant based and was excited for the plethora of veg friendly options including the vegan Mac n cheese! My friend and I recently had brunch here and ordered the huevos rancheros and New Mexican Fried Rice in addition to a few other accompaniments. Everything was good but as much as I love this place I can’t remember thinking anything was great which is why I have to give them 4/5. I have really enjoyed the Mac n cheese in the past, but it has been inconsistent to the point that I’m no longer interested in taking a chance. One aspect of this place that has always been consistent is their cocktails. During brunch we had the green tea margarita and Xmas Bloody Mary. The green tea marg was excellent! It was fun to try both the red and green cocktails but the red was easily my favorite. I also appreciated the assortment of pickled veg garnish! They have a thoughtful selection of liquor, and their bartenders are skilled and knowledgeable. I mostly come here for convenience and a good drink but would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for veg friendly options and/or a great cocktail in a cute spot in south Seattle.

Eat here! This spot is so cozy, delicious, easy, clean, relaxing. The food is YUM and the people are so friendly. Easy to get accommodations for keto, which annoys some servers. They were very kind about my grumpy child. Vegan options, close to a great park. Try the queso!

Came hungry with family and left full and with an even bigger family. The love coming from this establishment is unmatched. I love this place and do not sleep on the chicken wings.

A great spot for drinks after work! It’s so rare to find New Mexican food anywhere in the PNW! These people know what’s up, have a great mezcal/tequila selection and I didn’t have to explain what Christmas style was. So nice to get a taste of home. I just wish there was a bit more kick but again, it’s the PNW. The burrito and green chile hush puppies were excellent! The green and red chiles were both delicious, the atmosphere is mellow and people are really nice.

Bang Bang Kitchen is a nice little restaurant located really close to the light rail. There’s a laid back vibe with a party type atmosphere! The staff was very friendly and made me feel like a valued customer even-though they were short staffed. I tried the stuffed Sopapillas and my friend had the sweet Sopapillas, the drinks we tried were tasty and strong but I was underwhelmed by the food, wasn’t very flavorful. I’m willing to go back and try other food items.

I would like to start by saying staff was nice. However, this food is just not good. My friend and I came for dinner and got the vegan chips and dip trio. The cheese was kind of sweet? The bean dip was mid, and the salsa was the best part and not great it was decent but there was a flavor in there I did not like. I ordered the enchiladas with jackfruit and the same weird flavor from the salsa was in that. Again, not really tasty. It was very disappointing for me. My friend got tacos with tofu chorizo, again sweet. And I have had both meat and vegetarian chorizo and it is not typically sweet. I would be interested in going to New Mexico and trying authentic food to see how it compares to this. I do still want to try the brunch to see if there is a difference. Our waiter was nice and comped the tacos because my friend did not eat eat them after taking a few bites. But the food was overall very disappointing.

It has been a minute since we have been to Bang Bang. And our return was a delight. We came for Taco Tuesday but stayed for Smash Burger, Vegan Mac, and Cornbread Pancakes and wings. The margarita menu was also a delight yum! The wide variety of vegan options for our friends was awesome. Vegan tacos, apps, and lots of options to make the main food vegan or vegetarian. My friends from New Mexico also love Bang Bang. We love the owners. They are always ready to stand up and support the community. They

The smothered and covered potatoes are a game changer. The quiche had a potato crust that was really good. The breakfast torta was very hearty and good. My favorite was the mocktails, specifically the pear-rosemary shrub.
