First time visiting Kaffa but glad we did. Clean restaurant, great customer service, the food was amazing. My wife got the Kitfo and I had the Fish Gulash. Both were great. They also have wine various including of Ethiopia and if you are coffee lover like me give their coffee a try or have a simple tea. Though there are quite a few Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurants in the greater Seattle area, I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Ethiopian food in Seattle area.

Got the Kaffa combo for $16.99, which turned out to be an insane amount for food for the price. My favorite parts of the sampler were the lentils and collard greens(?). I've haven't had lentils taste so delicious in a long time. All of the items were well seasoned, the beef(?) In the middle was a little too sour for me, but still tasty. Overall, great food at great prices here, you won't be disappointed. Tasted the same if not better than the Ethiopian food I had in Houston!

Probably the best Ethiopian food I have ever had. The vegetarian sampler and doro wat we’re just out of this world. The injera bread was perfectly moist and spongy, and all the veg sampler items were fantastic! We also had the chai and an Ethiopian coffee, and they were both great and it was fun to have the coffee served in the traditional jebena! Food was served very quickly and was toasty-hot and fresh! Our server was also very kind and attentive. :) 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back!!

Had dinner here last night (10/17) and I feel like I've found my new go-to place for Ethiopian food. Much more affordable than the Ethiopian places in Columbia City and Seattle, and in my opinion, better flavor too! We had the veggie combo and it was full of flavor! I was also surprised by their beer selection - wasn't expecting to find Rooftop Brewing Co on tap! In addition, the owner's husband was extremely hospitable and welcomed us as if we were friends. I've already recommended this place to two of my friends and I hope this review gives you the opportunity to try out their food! :)

My new favorite Ethiopian restaurant. Flavor wise. Interior design wise, not so much. Regardless I see myself making this place my goto for ethiopean. The Food was cooked to perfection. Perfection. The flavors are so defined and refined. My order was absolutely cooked with love and many precision. I've had good lentils in my life but I didn't know they could be made so well with a great balance of texture and distinct flavor. Each lentil dish was completely different and hard to stop eating with every bite. Their meat was cooked as perfect as I've ever had. So tender and juicy and even cut into nice sizes. The only thing missing was the egg I'm used to in the combos. I'm curious how theirs would have tasted. The prices are appropriate for the proportions. I can't wait to share this place with others.

I stopped in here last weekend for lunch and was really impressed with both the food and prices. I got the large Kaffa combo, and between two people it was more than enough food—we definitely could've gotten the regular size. I also got a delicious cafe mocha. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

My first experience with Ethiopian food. Loved it very much. I got the injera and lamb tibs, the amount of food was amazing for the cost- my friend and I realized too late we should have shared a dish. Very excited to finish my leftovers later and I’d like to come again!

I tried to find a cafe place to work while waiting for my son in a class at Columbia city. Unfortunately most of the cafe around there closed at 6pm. Luckily I finally found this place, nice and quiet and exotic place, i can quietly work their and drinking coffee. Smell the food there i ended up order a plate to take home. We all love it, pretty good price and nutritional balanced. I am glad i found this place!

Kaffa is one of the few coffee shops close to me that's open late. Great place to get some work done and enjoy coffee, cakes, snacks, and a delicious Ethiopian meal. I've never felt rushed to leave, will often stay here for at least 2-3 hours. Warm friendly service. Neighborhood gem. Had a slice of Pistachio ricotta cake - divine! Their mocha was lovely too. I've had their Ethiopian food and its great. Different from other coffee shops bc if you get hungrier there is filling food to get.

I ordered 40 bags of coffee and 40 tins of tea for a work event and I had a great experience. Great price and great quality product! When I picked up the products I sat down for dinner and asked the owner what she recommended. The sampler platter did not disappoint it was so much delicious food. I recommend you share! Definitely recommend and I will come here again.

Amazing food and service at this Ethiopian cafe. Definitely recommend it as a lunch spot on a work day. The food came quickly, the server was great and the Ethiopian coffee was delicious! I am quite particular about restroom cleanliness and that's an area that could be improved on.

The best Ethiopian in Seattle. My favorites are misir wot (red lentil), ater kik (yellow peas), alicha misir (green lentil). I haven’t found alicha misir anywhere else, and I miss it. It is so delicious. Also, the aroma of this restaurant is so good that it immediately calms me down. I moved to NYC, and I’m still thinking about this place a year later. I’ve tried many Ethiopian spots in NYC and none of them come close to how good Kaffa is. When I visit Seattle, I’m definitely making a stop here.

We love ordering Kaffa through Uber Eats. It’s our absolute favorite treat. We only get the large vegetarian combo—can live off of it—perfectly spiced!

Went here with my girlfriend for an anniversary dinner which was also during Seattle Restaurant Week. We both chose different items off their fixed price menu and it was absolutely delicious! The meats were cooked to perfection (the slow cooked chicken was literally falling off the bone) and the sauces/curries were mouth wateringly tasty. Would highly recommended the Doro Wot. To top it off the fixed price option also included cake and macarons which were heavenly. Very tender and rich. Would rate more than 5 stars if I could. You have to come eat here!
