Located inside Taj Fisherman's Cove, the Bay view is a beach view restaurant with south Indian style food. Bad service - we literally had to get up from our place to get the waiter multiple times.. Limited options. Food that isn't worth it- I've had tastier food for half the price and less. The Ambience is okay-good. Outdoor seating. The live music was great. Wouldn't visit again.

It a lovely place to come and dine, whether ur a hotel guest or just visiting locally. The food is 1 of a kind with a variety of sea food and India cuisine. They had lots of drinks to choose from and amazing service that was fast and very polite. The fish was exquisite and the tartar sauce was just wow. We also orders a vegetarian mango curry which was quite good 😁 The view of the beach and the sound of our waves made our evening very calm and relaxing 🌄 This is a great place for taking photos as well. 10/10 recommend ♥️

Scenic beach view, well maintained surroundings which are picturesque. Walkway at evenings are colourful. Pleasant place to stay and enjoy weekends and get together. Food are amazing tried few hot and cold beverages with snacks as we didn’t plan to be here. French fries and hot chocolate were on point There are different kitchens and dining to try which needs a proper stay and enjoy them all.

We had lunch recently. We requested in advance for grilled lobster (400 - 600g) prepared in continental style as the main course to the F&B Manager. On arrival at the Bay view, we (4 of us 2 families) were welcomed to be seated at a nice seaview point . We ordered crab soup, murungai charu, grilled prawns, Inchi Chicken, grilled lobsters with sauteed vegetables and a portion of herb rice, vathal kulambu, steamed rice, fish curry etc. All were served hot, fresh, tasty and in time. Service was great. We enjoyed very much all items, especially the grilled lobster. It was a great memorable lunch overlooking the Bay of Bengal with great sea breeze.

Beautiful and serene place. Inhad visited the place for Dinner. Drove down from.ITC Grand Chola in the evening. Due to traffic it took around one and half hours. On the way u cross through IT offices. Its on the beach. With cottages and restraunt open for diners. We had seafood, pomfret baked fish Had Indian shiraz wine 2021. Costed 1400 per serving. We also had broccoli and some veggies whichncame with 2 small kerela parotas. Food was good. Service was ok not close to what Taj is known for. Pretty rude from Taj standards. You would find many foreigners as well. My star ratings 1 star for service 4 star for food 5 star for location

Amazing view and amazing place with an even amazing food!! Have been there twice so far within a span of a week and have never been disappointed.The staff are so warm and very welcoming!! Definitely a place to visit for beach lovers and coastal cuisine!!💜

Fantastic... Truly a 5 star experience... Limited Veg options but good ones... Get a table closest to the beach and you can watch the moonrise ... The ambience is perfect for a relaxed dining experience... The service is attentive to your needs and the food quality is very good... All in all a great dinner outing... Highly recommend...

It's old fashioned but cozy and cool place. I enjoyed fish and chips with beer. It was not crowded so I could take a rest. The beach was well-maintained, the food was good.

This is regarding Bay view at Taj fisherman's cove resturant. The food was good, ofcourse more so for the seafood and not much for the vegetarians. The service was terrible, the waiter was not responsive, we were ordering something and he was getting his own thing, though our team was able to order in Tamil he was not taking interest in getting the order right or communicating properly. Felt disappointed about this part, rest ambience next to beach in the evening was pretty decent.

They have an interesting array of vegetarian dishes as well. The salad was excellent. So was the vegetable curry cooked in coconut milk and tomato sauce. Loved their fresh juices as well. Service is great. Had a happy time. Thanks to Manoj and team.

Great experience to have dinner by the sea, the sound of the waves are pure bliss, we went as a group and had a good time

We can go only for ambience that too dinner would be best. Food was average but atleast they can give us tasty food for the money which we are paying. Cost is high as because of the hotel brand and I admit to that. But food varieties and taste can be improved
