If you are ready for some tough terrain and steep path, then you will be rewarded with amazing views, crystal clear water, some small but nice caves and plenty of small 🐟 swimming around you. Tips: if you head to the right from parking you can go to really beautiful photo spot 🤳 also if you want to go to the beach find white path from parking and then go down to the rocky descent as it is not marked with any signs ❌ definitely grab some comfy shoes for both the way down, and for swimming, it will make your way down to the water much easier as it is rocky descent as well 🪨

Amazing place!! It takes about 30 minutes of a steep hike to get to the water, but it's more than worth it! You can park your car on top. You can also swim in the ocean and go in the caves. Bring enough water and food, as it can take a while if you forgot something in the car 😉

Probably the most beautiful piece of water and coast scenery we visited on Zakynthos, especially for snorkeling but also swimming on sunbathing (grilling). The path down is steep but relatively safely arranged, last bit to go down into the water requires light rock climbing, be careful. Don't go rushing there though, leave the fishes alone ;)

About half an hour to get down to the beach from the parking place, so prepare a good shoes and water , and backpack on the way. U have to hold the rod going down, and have to climb big steps, so not for kids and no for elders. Though it's worth to visit. Very nice place to snorkel. And it's beautiful surroundings. But prepare yourself, semi hard way down, and upway too.

let's stop calling it a beach ;) it is a spot for snorkeling, with extreme road down to it as well as not such great entrance into the water. good physycal form and comfortable shoes are strongly recommended as it is quite steep. Snorkel equipment and water shoes are a must, there are jelly fish in the laguna, few people, me included got stung a bit take water with you and a good sunscreen, as there is no shade to hide and the road is demanding

Lovely place to go for a swim and admire the coastline. Need to be agile and fit to access the area. There is plenty of parking available on the roadside and a refreshment hut, but nothing once you get to the sea.

Absolutely gorgeous, but don't go there with kids and bring proper shoes for the climbing. It's really steep, so be careful with every step. The view and snorkeling is definitely worth it.

Leave your flip flops or sliders, this is a rocky place. Wear something comfortable and take a bottle of water. I wish someone mentioned this to me. Oh well, it’s the most beautiful place on the whole island in my point of view. For views and swimming.

Wear shoes! Amazing place and definitely worth a visit. The trail down to the beach is steep and I don't recommend going there without proper shoes. More of an adventurous swimming place than a beach. No sand. I don't recommend it for small children. We were told that authorities wish people would not stay there after 6pm, so go early. Good kiosk at the parking place to buy water for the trip down.

Wow what a place free parking at the top of the hill , a nice drinks cabin at the top i would definitely make sure you have drinks for your stay and aseptic back up , The lady in the drinks cabin will roughly tell you how many people have already gone and will also advise to wear trainers for your venture down and back up , and I will second that . It starts off just walking down a hill just follow the path to the right of the. Cabin it’s a rocky track a lot of hard stable rocks and some loose just take your time and watch your steps , youlll eventually come to the steps some are shallow some are deep bits of it is just a rock track , there is a man made metal and rope handrail ( top credit to the people who actually did this ) not all of it is solid but it’s safe and does assist up and down . The last but at the bottom there is a bit missing and you just need to becareful and plan where your going to stand , a little walk across the rock and you will get to the cove , a steady small decend and your nearly at the waters edge ( this is where most people settle before going in the water ) This is not a beach by any means it’s a rock formation there is no sand but the hike is well worth the visit , perfectly clear water absolute teaming with fish it’s a snorkelling paradise and good for swimming and diving ; I would not take children ; you do not need to be a master rock climber very basic skills is all you need there were plenty of women all ages there at the same time as me they had no problem , you do not need to be a fitness instructor to do the hike either I’m unfit and did it comfortably just use common sense use good foot wear and drink water , amazing photos and time has if your here definitely give it a try

Well, I don’t know with what to start. First of all I didn’t really like it because there’s no safe entrance in the water, you have to climb the rocks and then to go down, it’s a very complicated place to chill, don’t go there without swimming shoes for sure and if you’re not a snorkelling 🤿 lover and don’t have the proper equipment better choose another location…..

Is definitely a must! Even though the road is narrow (you need to be careful if another car comes from the opposite direction). The walk down to the beach takes 15-20 minutes, and sports shoes are a must. The view is breath taking form the beginning. The sea is crystal clear and swimming ther is amazing. For a better experience, go there early.

Best spot i ve been on the island. Trully amazing. Prepare for a pritty difficult descent to the beach, about20 min. The bottom of the sea is still visible while snorkelling, even though is quite deep. Try to go along the rocks to reach the small beach visible from the starting point. Go ONLY with diver paws, otherwise you might have serious problems coming back if the waves begins to form. ENJOY

The road to Plakaki rocks is ok, with stairs, a little bit difficult but anyone can walk down there. The place is perfect for cliff jumps and some snorkeling. The view from above is pretty amazing.

We did the "hike" really spontanious so we wore slippers and it worked quite okay. I would recommend good shoes tho but the view and the water down there are absolutly worth it :)

Beautiful, but NOT a beach. After a steep path you reach a stone plateau 5 - 10 metres above sealevel. Swimming only possible if you have watershoes, climb the 5-10 m down over sharp ragged rocks and only if there are no waves (to risky otherwise). Pictures taken standing on the stone plateau.

Really the most beautiful place on this island ...at least for me. Park your car on top of the hill after visiting the viewpoint on the way down. It's a bit of a hassle to get down on foot as it takes you about 30 minutes of a steep hike along rocks with not always safe spots to hold on. The view there's already worth it and once you get to the water it's stunning. Jump off cliffs, swim in the ocean, snorkel and see small schools of fish and even lionfish. Explore the caves or just relax and sunbath. So what is it what makes the whole place remote and not visited that much? Well the steep and long way down, you'll need to bring sneakers or something comfy to climb and you should be good with hights. Pack and carry enough drinks, food, swimming clothes, a cap as there's no shade and something to sit on as the rocks hurt a bit. Think before you'll take the climb as going back is a hassle and you don't wanna do it more than once. 😅

A wonderful view and a romantic place, perhaps one of the most beautiful in Zakynthos and without people. Lots of parking above the beach with a snack stand. The way down more difficult.

Great beach. You see untouched nature. A little hard to get down to the beach or come back to your vehicle, but it is worth it.

Beautiful place but you need good shoes and some stamina. Approx 15-20 minutes to get down and the climb back up is hard

Amazing views! We read there was a path down the rocks but we just walked a bit of it. We thought the views were already amazing when you get of the car!

👍 Impressive ancient wells in a beautiful valley in the middle of grapes surrounded by Old olive trees. The central well has the structure and can be opened but there is no more bucket to draw water. How and what for may these structures have been used back in the days?
