My family and I had a bad situation in this upscale hotel, I arrived at two o'clock in the afternoon and the hotel road was under maintenance, and I had to walk with my family and my child on the asphalt while it was hot and smelling strong. At night I came around eleven in the evening, and I was prevented from entering the hotel with my car, although the hotel car crosses the road back and forth dozens of times without problems, as the road has been repaired, causing severe inconvenience due to the movement between cars.

Unfortunately, one of the worst experiences of recreation is that we face exhaustion and fatigue. There was road maintenance and they don't let the taxi in through the hotel door but you have to wait outside for your turn and ride their only car or walk a long way. and towels are worn and worn out

Very rude customer service when checking in. We are 2 adults and 2 kids, they made us pay extra for our 8 year old child although we booked one of biggest rooms which sleeps 4 adults. Breakfast was good. Tried to call room service many times with no luck, or they would answer and not show up. Not the best experience you would expect from a five star resort.

Such beautiful location with good facilities. Helpful and welcoming staff but English communication is not good enough. Delicious breakfast 😋 we loved it . Cable car service also included in our booking but unfortunately it wasn’t working. There where another route available & that was working but we have to give extra price . Over all it was a nice experience

What’s not good? Level 1 is same as ground floor, which was bit confusing at the beginning. Having my room at such level, the room balcony was overlooking the street, so every passer by could see us in the room, accordingly, no sense of privacy. What I also hated the most is the huge pillar that divided the balcony into half, blocking the nice view of the mountains + hindered us from sitting and enjoying the nice weather. What’s good? Breakfast is nice with a view, I liked its proximity from the activities, location is amazing!

Acceptable Experience at Hotel Qafqaz Tufandag Hotel I recently booked a family suite,for 3 nights, Firstly, the room was good overall and offered a beautiful view of the surrounding scenery. However, the hotel's services were quite limited, as were the available activities. In terms of services, I found a lack of variety in the options provided. The services offered at the hotel were very limited, and my overall expectations were not fully met. Additionally, the organized activities at the hotel were also limited, which left us feeling a bit bored and unable to enjoy On a positive note, the hotel stands out with its beautiful view, which had a positive impact on our overall experience. However, the hotel should focus on expanding its services and improving the diversity and quality of the activities it offers so that guests can enjoy a more comprehensive and exciting experience. One major issue was the limited availability of items on the restaurant's menu. Many of the listed dishes were not available, and the same applied to the beverage menu. This lack of availability severely restricted the dining options and left me disappointed. Moreover, even when the items were available, the food options were incredibly limited. The lack of variety in the menu made dining at the hotel monotonous and unexciting. For a hotel claiming to be a 5-star establishment, I expected a more extensive and diverse selection of dishes to cater to different preferences. considering the hefty price I paid. However, I must say that the hotel did not live up to its claim of being a 5-star establishment. While the room was satisfactory and offered a pleasant view, I found that the overall experience fell short of what one would expect from a luxury hotel. The services provided were limited and did not meet the standards I anticipated. Additionally, the lack of diversity and quality in the available activities was quite disappointing. What made matters worse was the exorbitant price I paid for my stay. Considering the amount I spent, I expected a higher level of service and an exceptional experience that would justify the cost. Unfortunately, Hotel Qafqaz Frontal failed to meet these expectations, leaving me feeling dissatisfied and questioning the value for money.

The hotel is excellent and super peaceful. Lovely and uncrowded breakfast with tables on the balcony. This hotel has no swimming pool, but I can access a nearby swimming pool in close hotel.

The best hotel in Gabala. The hotel is very modern and new. The room are luxury and contains all your needs. (Even clothes dryer). The breakfast was perfect and contains variety for dishes. The staff was very very polite. I hope I can visit Gabala again

Nice hotel and the location is premium , you can take the cable car from.3rd floor and do lot of winter sports activities

Starting from the breakfast, the beautiful views, the rooms and the amazing hospitality I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It almost seems like you enter a completely different place and you don’t want to leave! Absolutely love the place. Their service is amazing and the whole ambience is so relaxing. This hotel has been one of my best stays of my whole life and I highly recommend people to stay and see it for themselves! Keep up the good work guys and thank you for the beautiful experience♥️

First, the rooms are large and very modern. The facilities which include a Sauna were nice yet not large. Breakfast is very good with a lot of variety and you can also sit on the outside terrace to eat. Service is always with a smile from the moment we have arrived. Plenty of parking, including just next to the hotel. There are cable cards just next to the hotel so the attractions are just next door. Unfortunately, real hiking isn't available as there are no signs, so you can either enjoy off-road buggies or traveling from peak to peak on the gondola (during summer). Some might find the fact that there is nothing around this hotel, if you want to walk. You must travel by car to the town. So no casual night runs to stroll etc. Some of our family felt irritated by the fact we thanked but said no help is needed with the luggage only to have it taken away anyway. For us, it felt like a way to get an additional tip for a simple trolley. No need for this

Went there for the great views and the cable car rides. The cable car rides are quite affordable. They have good facilities at site including availability of food and beverages. The view at the top is breathtaking and there are a lot of adventure activities which can been done depending on the weather.

Very good service, clean place, big breakfast variety, good food, We had a small issue, which was the bathtub sink blocked and the water was not going, We Informed them, and they fixed it fast, but one thing that we didn't like that is the loud music was playing almost 24 hrs until 11 pm, so it's difficult to sleep, so I suggest that you reduce the sound of music to be only in the lobby, and play it only in specific time like from morning to 7 pm, and try to choose nice music, I will recommend this hotel if they consider my suggestion, thank you

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We loved the view from our balcony and the service was just super! Our room was quite spacious and neat. And when it comes to food - very delicious. Definitely recommended for a visit!

A very good five star hotel, rooms are very big and are very well equipped. Staff listens to your requirements, although English understanding is not very good but they will tey to assist you.

Great location for holidays, big rooms with all amenities, friendly and courteous staff,amazing dine in experience. The Tufandag cable car is just outside the fourth floor of Qafqaz Tufandag Hotel which made so convenient for us to enjoy the stay. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Travelled from the UAE to Azerbayjan and spent 4 memorable nights in this hotel from 23-Dec to 27-Dec-2023. I really enjoyed it, five out of five stars. Check-in and check-out was quick and hassle-free. The staff were polite, friendly, well traied, and professional. The lady who greeted us every morning at breakfast and helped us having our table at the restaurant always welcomed us warmly and was very well dressed to perfection. All other restaurant staff were also all friendly, professional, and very well dressed with two-piece or three-piece suit at the breakfast which to me is an important sign of care and respect. Among them I wil forever remember Mr. Javanshir (in the photo I took with him) and Mr. Rehman (or Rahman, sorry if spelling is not correct) with his perfect three-piece suit which reminded me of James Bond or Dr. Jordan Peterson for being fit, handsom, and well-dressed! If I ever travel to Azaebayjan again, I will definitely chose this hotel again. Perfect food, perfect location and view for a relaxing vacation, and above all, very good people. We had an amazing stay for two nights with the family. - Rooms, the family room/suite we booked was very spacious, neat and clean. it was more than enough for us as a family of four people. The view of the room was a mind-blowing. we had our room with mountain and lake view. - Location, the hotel features a direct access from the 4th floor to the main cable cars two lines. Hotel is very nearby to variety of local restaurant's where it costs you only 8-10 Manat for a two-ways trip. - Food, main restaurant features very good breakfast menu but also an Ala-carte dinner menu where food is very tasty and price is very much affordable.

The location is nice we’re you can go to tillfrak, and some entertainment. Rooms are not bad and clean. But no near by restaurants by walk. We had very bad experience with the restaurant.. first day we ordered lamb kabab and the meat was so hard, other food was okay. also they took very long to take order and to serve the customers..on second day we had bad day as well even they gave us wrong order and wanted to convince that it was our mistake.. how it can be mistake and we repeated three times but the waiter is in hurry to listen.

We travelled as a family and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered with its huge selection even including cakes (to my sons joy). It was great to walk outside and go straight up the mountain. Although we sometimes had a bit of a language barrier the staff in the hotel and in the ski area were so helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend.

A strategically located hotel with all amenities and reasonably priced. The staff were professional, friendly and efficient. They provided support prior to our arrival such as information regarding currency exchange, transport and tours. They even arranged for a HDMI cable. The junior suite was spacious, clean and had a spectacular view. Relaxing spa services. The breakfast buffet was fresh and excellent. The croissants were delicious. Dinner at the restaurant and Burger Station were both good. The ski services are affordable and the ski instructors are patient. Nushrevan from reception is extremely helpful. Special thanks to Samir from the restaurant and Burger station. Samir the ski instructor is very good. You will meet lots of Samir’s😊 Definitely recommend visiting here.

I booked junior suite fit for 2 adults and 3 children but when we did check in they charged us 60Manat for the infant(why?!!!). Unpolite and Disgusting staff (reception and AMID waiter) except the housekeeping. expensive hotel no facilities no services no wifi. Not recommended at all.

We stayed for 2 Nights at this resort in late October. It has one of the most spectacular views you can ever have. it is a true escape into wilderness. Especially Morning breakfast buffet with the view of the mountains is a must try experience Other Activities * Free Sauna, Steam and Turkish Bath * Cable car is in the resort premise * The is an Off-road adventure trail * Good Coffee Shops * Relatively affordable restaurant menu

The Location and the hotel is good otherwise everything was disappointing. The room i stayed in has a very week Internet signal, And the mattress is very old and bad quality..Also the TV is useless since they blocked the mirroring option the staff most of them dont speak English at all eve though the hotel was full of tourists The Burger Restaurant was bad and expensive.

Great hotel with nice rooms and staff. Really enjoyed the breakfast, sauna and steam room. Fast food upstairs is also decent, worth trying for a quick meal. Reception even helped us with getting a cake baked specially for us as a gift.
