First I thought what I am doing here, because It looked too far away. I found relax, very good wine, traditional Albanian food; beautiful place and views. They welcomed us warmly. If you visit Berat, then definitely you should sleep at least a night at Alpeta.

Such a delicious food and not very expensive. The view is also great. There's plenty of place too. The owner was friendly and took care of us to have a great time. The only flaw is that is a bit far away

Wow! What an incredible place. The food, wine, Raki, and view were amazing. But the best was the hospitality! The waiter spoke perfect English and the owner was a true example of Albanian generosity and kindness. Please visit this place! It is so worth the short journey from Berat.

We decided to come here as we wanted to taste a range of Albanian wine and be able to stay the night, and it didn't disappoint. We had a fantastic welcome from the staff and the beautiful scenery. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a tour round the vines followed by a tasting of delicious wine, delicious traditional food and raki. Would recommend to anyone looking for a true Albanian wine experience.

Wow I wish I could give this 10 stars. Staying here at the guest house was the best part of our whole week in Albania. The room was perfectly clean with amazing deck looking over hillside of trees and vines. The deck of the restaurant was so beautiful. The wine tour and dinner with Aldo was very informative and also so much fun. The breakfast which was included in the room price was delicious. We couldn't fault their service in anyway. We will recommend this to all of our friends thank you so much for having us!

This is the perfect place for lunch or dinner. I've come here twice and have really enjoyed it. The food is very good and the prices are really cheap. The service is friendly and very respectful. There are a lot of places to take photos and videos as well. If you ever are in Berat, Albania you should take a meal here. There is also a hotel.

I went on a wine tasting organized through my hostel and we were lucky enough to have Reno be our guide. He was so friendly, very knowledgeable and really fun! We had a great time but Reno was truly the reason why it was so fun! Thanks again for sharing your family’s history, wine and raki with us!! Gëzuar!

The best! A must do when you are around. Very good food, and the best wine we had in Albania! Glad we could buy 2 bottels before They ran out😅 Very good price. €42 for a wine and food tasting, €12/€14 a bottle for take away👍

Beautiful location with amazing views, the wine tour was great fun and great value at €15. We stayed the night, which was definitely worth it but you can get a taxi back to Berat easily enough. The food served after the wine tour was also very good and at great value! The staff were very friendly and part of a nice family run business. Also the lake is definitely worth visiting.

Beautiful view, tasty wines, really good food & fresh produce. All these goodness topped with amazing people... It is absolutely worth the visit. We loved it! If you are not staying at Alpeta, it might be worth leaving the car in Berat and take a taxi. That's what we did and it was a wise decision.

Such a beautiful place and lovely people. We had a wine tasting and a little dinner afterwards— very tasteful! The atmosphere here is very heartful. We been very happy to support this family owned business and the more rural areas of Albania.

I stayed for 2 nights in Alpeta and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Spacious rooms offering stunning scenery of Tomorrr mountain. I would absolutely recommend Alpeta to anyone looking to explore the beauty of Roshnik.

The experience and hospitality were great. The trip to the restaurant was very nice and the restaurant was quiet too and very familiar. I enjoyed everything there and i highly recommend it for a weekend trip or even for a few days if you enjoy hiking in nearby hills and mountains.

Our friends from Berat recommended this place first. A bit fare from Berat but totally worthy. The road is fine and the village quite picturesque. The restaurant is very welcoming and the staff is really nice. You need a reservation to have lunch there, it gets really crowded in the weekends. The food was like my grandmother's and I enjoyed it a lot. Really delicious comfort food with fresh and organic product. I had the most amazing fried chicken with butter and soda bread also known in albanian "Kulaç", it brought me back in my childhood where she would cook them for us. It means they were indeed cooked very well! The prices were very good! The nature and the garden there made a great atmosphere, i took really great pictures and enjoyed my lunch a lot. Thank you for your hard work Alpeta!

Our sincere appreciation to Elmean and Reno...for making our visit to this mesmerising place a memorable one. The lunch was delicious, good and worth for value. The house pour wines are smooth and fruity. A must pit-stop to this place if anyone visiting Berat or location nearby... better still, stay a night or two.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alpeta, which was a delightful experience. It is nestled in the hills a few km from Berat. The accommodation, though tailored for short stays, provided a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. While there isn't a food menu, the local Albanian dishes served were a delight. The breakfast is plentiful, with a pleasant mix of fruit, vegetables and baked goods. The wine tour, guided by Adrian, was enjoyable and highly informative. The wines showcased were exceptional, making the tour a highlight of my visit. A word of caution: the Raki is deceptively easy to drink, so moderation is key. But the real gem of Alpeta lies in its staff. The warmth and friendliness displayed by Adrian, Aldo, and the entire team made our stay unforgettable. During our visit, our toddler accidentally stumbled upon a birthday party, and to our surprise, he was welcomed and embraced as part of the family. The staff's genuine kindness made the impromptu celebration a joyous occasion for our little one, who thoroughly enjoyed the dancing and playing. A heartfelt thank you to Adrian, Aldo, and the rest of the team at Alpeta for going above and beyond to create a memorable experience. Your hospitality and warmth truly made our stay special. Thank you.

I visited this place based on its excellent Google reviews and was pleased with the beautiful landscape. Dining at the vineyard was enjoyable, and the service was friendly, although there were some delays in serving the food. However, I was surprised that the dishes served were rather basic, something one could prepare at home within an hour. While the food was tasty, it didn't leave a lasting impression. I had higher expectations given it's an agrotourism setting, where I hoped to find more unique and authentic culinary experiences, as I have in similar places.

We had lunch here and it was just perfect. The atmosphere and the service were wow. The food all very fresh and brilliantly cooked. Couldn’t have chosen a better place for our last lunch in Albania. Definitely recommend

a bit of a drive to get to, but what a lovely winery. we showed up mid afternoon and asked for a tasting, which was accompanied by a huge spread of nuts, fruits, cheeses and other snacks. when we were finished with the wine and copious amounts of raki, we asked how much the tasting cost and the young waiter said that because they didn’t start with a tour of the vineyards, the tasting was on them - WHAT?! we ended up staying for dinner, which was an assortment of local specialities. of course the mountain view and romantic atmosphere didn’t hurt either - a great way to end the day!

The view and surroundings of this winery are gorgeous! Wine tour itself was OK. Very big group and therefore no personal touch. Felt like a well oiled machine. We went to the fields, the barrels and then the restaurant. We had 3 wines and 2 raki (15 eu pp for half glasses), took quite a long time to serve. Bites were ok, some olives, nuts and fruits. Nothing special. The wines were good based on Albania standards. We also had dinner, fixed menu with veggie options. It was fine but a little overpriced. Good prices for a glass of wine though (1,5-2 Euro). Nice wine tasting if you are with friends, not recommendable if you are an experienced wine drinker and want a more personal touch.
