Very tasty and well spiced food. The chef could customise our wishes for the vegetarian food, which we really appreciated. The banana split for dessert was tasty as well. The staff was also very attentive!

(Translated by Google) Cozy place with good service and food at reasonable prices. Thai cuisine with traditional Thai dishes and Thai-inspired dishes with Greenlandic ingredients. The restaurant is located in the same building as RAL, a large red factory building on the harbor. (Original) Hyggeligt sted med god service og mad til rimelige priser. We arrived on a cruise ship and found this place on Google ( where else? ). It is definitely not a place you run across by accident. Finding it is a little tricky because it's in a shared industrial building at the docks. It's worth finding. The Thai soup is the BEST I have had anywhere. I asked the waitress to surprise me with the meal. She chose Atlantic Cod and it was great. My wife is not so adventurous and went with a chicken dish. The taste was great, but the chicken was tough, I noticed that other people have mentioned this also. I don't hold that against them, because the taste is so good. The food isn't spicy hot ( to my taste ) but there was hot Chile oil with the ground up Chili's on the table. If I lived locally, this would be my go to place to eat. If you come in on a cruise, use Google maps to get you to the door. I couldn't tell I was there until I was within 30'. While I was there, most of the customers I saw appeared to be from the cruise ship. The way the restaurant is "hidden", the cruise ship crowd was 2 tables of 2, and a table of 6-8. There was one other table that had some locals eating there also. So if your looking to find a local place while in port that isn't packed, this is it. We paid in dk, but they they ( as well as most places ) took $US.

A hidden gem in Qaqortoq, Greenland. You need to search to find it but it’s worth the effort. Small family-run business with great food. The spring rolls were sublime and as good any you’ll find in all your travels. A nice outlook to the harbour in this quintessentially Greenlandic town.

Decided on a whim to try lunch at the Inbox Café during a recent visit to Qaqortoq and am glad I did. There is Thai food available in Canada, where I am from, so it is not unfamiliar, but it is scaled back and adapted to the Canadian palate. The Inbox Café is very authentic and they do incorporate local Greenlandic ingredients like musk ox, seal, reindeer, duck, etc. into their dishes. Had the Garlic Chili Reindeer with rice and it was savoury, the level of spice was not overwhelming, and the portion was more than adequate. The service was at a relaxed pace, very attentive, friendly, and the owner did his best to accommodate the guests. The restaurant does accept international credit cards as well. If you find yourself in Qaqortoq it is definitely worth a visit.

Large servings of food with a lot of produce. There are spices to add heat to the dish, if you like it spicy. Reservations are suggested during the high tourist season. Staff is kind and helpful, but be prepared to wait a while for you food and enjoy some drinks while you wait.

A Greenlandic take on Thai classics. All the dishes we tried were amazing. The musk ox curry was out of this world. If you like Thai food you'll love this place.

Very sweet and not so spicy food. But the experience was all worth it as it is delicious food and with large portions it is a place I woul recommend to everyone. The hospitality was top notch and the location even though it is a bit difficult to find, is actually quite authentic.

Was on a princess cruise and saw this Thai cafe on google maps and had to give it a try. Honestly I can’t tell you how amazing this food is. It was reindeer and cut fish (unsure how to spell the fish name) honestly was delicious and enough for 2 people when hungry! I want the recipe it was that good! Give it a try if you’re going.

It was the first time I tried thai cuisine (yes, on Greenland...) and I absolutely loved it. Deep-fried honey cod was amazing, other dishes also worth it. Atmospheric place filled with local people, hidden well, but once found - the name appears more than relevant.

Excellent Thai food. Would be a great restaurant anywhere in the world, but in Greenland where all of their ingredients comes by boat from Denmark it is a real gem. As vegetarians we were well accommodated.

Pretty much the only place in town for souvenirs so get there early. Especially if there is a cruise ship in town.

Small town Thai, some of the best Thai food that I've had anywhere on earth, let alone a small remote town in a small country. Decor is very authentic, the menu incorporated locally available meats like seal, ox and more. If you flew to Greenland, ate here and left, it might just be worth it.

This is a little tourist shop with souvenirs (t-shirts, magnets, local crafts, Greenlandic honey, reindeer bone jewellery, postcards and stamps). They also organise boat tours - we went to the hot springs which were amazing!

(Translated by Google) Just a small town on the vast island of Greenland but Kakortok carries a distinct color and charisma. This place seems to be forgotten by tourists on the world travel map, so it has a difficult beauty to find anywhere in the world.
