Decided
on
a
whim
to
try
lunch
at
the
Inbox
Café
during
a
recent
visit
to
Qaqortoq
and
am
glad
I
did.
There
is
Thai
food
available
in
Canada,
where
I
am
from,
so
it
is
not
unfamiliar,
but
it
is
scaled
back
and
adapted
to
the
Canadian
palate.
The
Inbox
Café
is
very
authentic
and
they
do
incorporate
local
Greenlandic
ingredients
like
musk
ox,
seal,
reindeer,
duck,
etc.
into
their
dishes.
Had
the
Garlic
Chili
Reindeer
with
rice
and
it
was
savoury,
the
level
of
spice
was
not
overwhelming,
and
the
portion
was
more
than
adequate.
The
service
was
at
a
relaxed
pace,
very
attentive,
friendly,
and
the
owner
did
his
best
to
accommodate
the
guests.
The
restaurant
does
accept
international
credit
cards
as
well.
If
you
find
yourself
in
Qaqortoq
it
is
definitely
worth
a
visit.
