We went rather early (for us) for dinner here today. First impressions: warm and welcoming ambience with tasteful modern decor. Our eyes were taken immediately to the one and one floor seating there and we waited for our turn to be served there. The neatness of the place and the friendliness of the staff gives off amazing vibes. We asked what the favorites were and then we ordered Bakwan Sayur (vegetable fritter), iced lemongrass drink, Laksa, Beef Randang and Nasi Goreng. The food served was tasteful and we'll proportioned. The fried onion garnish felt very close to what we are used to in Pakistani food as a garnish, and the addition of the kachumar style salad on the side. Beef Randang felt very close to beef masala curry. Our only issue was that the chicken piece with Nadi Goreng was a bit over fried which made the skin too crispy. The spicy was mild and the sweet soy sauce made the Bakwan that much more enjoyable as did the hot chili sauce. We left with full tummies, satisfied smiles and a little take away bag. Thank you for great food, we will be back for sure. (Bakwan and Laksa both had more, these pics were taken after we had started to eat)

Just did Talabat and I love the food! I ordered Nasi Ayam Penyet, Iga Bakar and Tahu Lada Garam. Iga Bakar wasn't available on Talabat menu so when I contacted them and informed, they made the menu option available within 4mins. Impressed already. The food is yum with such generous portion. The green sambal for Nasi Ayam Penyet is a killer if you love spicy food. Tahu Lada was good too, crispy yet soft inside and Iga Bakar was flavourful with the meat and fat. Thank You for the soup and a good packaging.

The most authentic Asian restaurant in Doha. When you walk through the door, your nose tells you that the food is going to be good. It just smells right. We all enjoyed our meal. Forgot to take pics of our appetisers as we hoover those up so quickly, delicious! We ordered stuffed tofu in a light batter. Spicy dipping sauce. Chicken satay ayam, with Peanut sauce and ayam dipping sauce. Battered tempeh that tasted like taro. Squid was super tender. Clams were our favourite. Morning glory was lackign in "wok hay" sadly. Bihun goreng (fried noodles) was good. Prawn laksa was good, not as good as I wished but that's an unfair expectation. Braised then grilled beef short ribs, super smoky and a hit at our table; it comes with a clear bone broth too. Drinks, lychee lemon grass (without sugar syrup) was delicious. Coconut milk shake with mango ice-cream. My friend didn't like his. Mine was made from soya milk, and I enjoyed it. Had my ice cream on the side. To finish off we gobbled up the lychee pudding made with agar agar. Light crisp, clean and perfect finish to a lovely meal. Staff was friendly and service was good. Tasty, affordable and definitely going back. Bonus. They deliver to the Pearl!

A variety of menu to choose from. Clean seating area upstairs with decoration/accesories to look insta worthy. Laksa was good if not the chicken should have been well done. They also offer Indonesian traditional cakes and desserts. Parking is a bit of challenge in this area.

Great place for Indonesian food and other fusion cuisine. A review here is due long. Their shop space is small, yet I have enjoyed most of their dishes on the menu with no complaints. We had a pre-order for the next day. With a gathering of 16 people, All the food ordered was tasty. Ordered, their tofu and bean fry, their veg stir fry and special sauces to accompany grilled chicken, Rice, chicken satay with their amazing peanut sauce. You will never be disappointed with any dish order from Mama Rozie's! Great food team.

Small restaurant in the heart of Doha. Very tasty food. Everything we had was cooked well, fried stuff was crispy as it needs to be. Chicken skewers were really good, same as street food in Asia.

I am a regular client at mama rosie. The restaurant is very clean and the food is delicious. But lately they started to be overpriced for the portions they provide. We added a chicken to the order. They added 10 riyal despite that i can buy the full chicken for 10 riyal outside. Food is about generosity. I think i will stop ordering or i will limit my orders from the restaurant unless they start to make a drastic change

Good ambience. Good food. One of the better places for Malaysian and Indonesian food. I regularly have their Rendang and their taste have been consistent. Their Satays are very good as well. The cool system is the call bell on all the tables to call the server. Cutting one star as the food is a little on the expensive side. One outing for two will cost you somewhere in the range of 100 to 150 riyals. Which is a bit high for this area. But the quality and taste of food makes up for the higher prices.

Small size of dining area but should be enough for 3-4 family at the same moment. Well decorated and calm feeling. Kind like a large portion of food (maybe for myself). For spicy lover, u should tried the sambal

Experienced and enjoyed the deliciously prepared “Tahu isi”, “Nasi lemak”, “Tempe goreng”, “Nasi ayam bakar” and finally with “ Cendol”. Yummy yummy and had a happy tummy. 👍 😇 If you are a first timer, like me, at first when you enter the shop you will wonder where to dine-in, if you have a group of people. Don’t go away, upstairs is the secret. 😝🤭. Ample space upstairs and there is also space to sit on the floor to eat. Over all, enjoyed. Thanks guys and kudos to the chef.

Great food. Loved the Laksa and the Kangkung Adobo. Would go back for these two dishes alone. Was with a larger group and service was great setting up table the way we liked and got the orders promptly. However once dishes were served I don't think they came to check and I would have ordered another drink. The atmosphere is clean and simple.

Very good tasty yummy Indonesian and Malaysian cuisine. Didn't try their Filipino range though. Very lovely sweet owner Having said that, the area is a bit hard to get parking and may looks a little dodgy.

This place has welcoming staffs. The boys always have a warm welcome. The food is really good. My favourites are the nasi ayam penyet, it comes with crispy tempeh, meaty clear soup, some ulam (fresh vegetables), and crispy crackers and ofcourse the nasi ayam bakar which also comes with similar side dishes. Try it! :)

Chicken satay is good and overall good taste! Vietnamese boy at the counter was helpful and humble. Portion is too small for that price..

A small family business...where extra care is taken to prepare each dish in the most traditional and authentic way...a very gracious and warm family...felt very much at home even though I'm neither a Malaysian or an Indonesian ..and the food was par excellence!!!

I'm so glad this place opens from 7am on weekends for breakfast. From the outside it looks like a usual diner among the many small shops on a small busy street. But step inside, you're immediately welcomed by the friendly staff and the smell of food from the kitchen enticing enough to excite your taste buds. The dining area upstairs will take you by surprise. It can fit quite a number of people without feeling cramped. The interior is designed with simple charming decor, small touches of Indonesian culture, and full of light. The menu features an extensive selection of Indonesian, Malay and Filipino dishes which are often spicy but pack a handful of flavours. Different traditional desserts are available weekly for dine-in or take-away but not delivery. The food is as homely and authentic and tasty as you can get for such a decent price, I could eat here multiple times a week without getting bored.

Mama Rozie is literally a family owned and run restaurant. They tell me they use only the finest ingredients. And I believe them. I watch families coming in to eat every time I go there. And they come for truly authentic home cooking from their country of origin. Oh and they look so happy. The restaurant is shall we say, not huge in size, but its huge in taste. I recommend Mama Rozie's and I'm sure you will as well. Tell them Brian sent you 😉

Mama Rozie is an Asian restaurant that serves Indonesian, Malaysian, and Filipino food. We tried the Kangkung Tumis and Nasi Ayam Penyet. Both were really well cooked, clean, hot, and tasty. We loved the Kangkung Tumis. The food was spicy but really delicious. The place was clean and they have ground dine in tables which are comfortable for groups or family members.
