It was a long time wish to catch the night sky and stars on my camera. I decided to set out out to a calm and peaceful place where I can catch the sky on my camera. Me and my 3 friends started around 3.00 o clock afternoon, climate was warm in doha, after about 1.30 hours of drive we reached the beautiful, and sealine beach along the shamal sea line. It was already cold over there and in addition a cold wind was blowing. You will need an suv for last 1km of drive(ours was pajero). The beach was worth the wait and the travel. There was an elevated track which went almost 500 meter into the sea. There we parked our car on the edge. The beach was the quietest we have ever been to. And for our surprise there was no water for almost 1 km inside as it was low tide time. All the boats where lying on sand. It felt like we are on some boat graveyard. There we get to see a nice number of small crabs, sea birds and on the shore there were beautiful conch shells which we collected as a suvanier for this beautiful place. After a while we started taking selfies and photos. The sun was setting on us, the view it made was breath taking. After setting up the camera walked around and explored the area as there was stars were yet to show. After it was pitch black the sky filled with clouds and we continued waiting. Then we noticed that the sea is coming back slowly. We waited for another 2 hours but the sky became more cloudy and it was chilling cold by then. We decided to call it a day. By the time we left the sea have fully came back and all the boats are now floating on water ready to go. That was a very different trip event hough I couldn't finish my wish I was very happy for this wonderful and exciting experience.

We were on our way to visit another beach in the area. When we got there we quickly realized there were no facilities. There wasn't much but a few sheds and nothing more. We looked on google for a closer beach and discovered this gem. It's too bad this place is so far from Doha because we would come here every weekend. You enter a pristine garden not realizing that the beach is behind. It is well manicured with a play park for the kids and toilet facilities. Note to all who may not be accustomed, the toilets are those hole in the ground squat toilets. They are incredible clean so fear not. When we got to the beach the tide was out. If this is a problem for you maybe you can check the tide schedule before you visit. As far out as you can see there was no water. It was fantastic for us and our little son to walk, bare foot, playing among the boats and scurrying seashells in the little pools left by the low tide. We even saw people riding horses along the beach. It was mesmerizing. This was by far our best beach experience in Qatar because of the low tide. It was truly unique and I would suggest everyone take a nice long drive up to Abu Dhalouf beach to experience this.

Great park, one side is opened towards sea. Mostly water doesn't comes near but during high tide it comes upto the park steps. Nice vegetation and greenery, two play areas, toilets. A nice old adjasct masjid. Bbq is also allowed
