This is a hostel & budget hotel. I stayed there on my first night in Uzbekistan - and also on my last. I had a small private room (the same one both times!) with a shared bathroom. A large, tasty breakfast was included. The cost was 206,000 Som/€16.43 per night. The staff were superb. There are: an indoor & outdoor common area, with free water and hot drinks; kitchen and fridge; excellent WiFi; A/C everywhere. My flight home was in the late evening but it was fine to leave my bag at the hotel after check-out. Indeed I was allowed to use the common area even though I'd checked out. Bus 67 from the airport took me to the hotel. It is also very near Oybek metro.

Very bad experience. I paid for a private bathroom, but other people kept using the bathroom and shower (not only other guests, but the cleaning staff, too). I accidentally left my towel in the shower, but when I came back, it wasn’t there. When I checked out, the receptionist accused me of stealing. I told her how the other room was using my bathroom, but she said no, the other guest is honest. Unbelievable. So I am the one lying? I let her check my bags and there was no towel in there but she still didn’t believe me. She made me pay 50,000 Som for a towel that I didn’t take! I am still amazed by how bad of an experience this was. At night, all I could hear were the people from the connected room coming and going, being very loud. Also, they required paying by cash, which I did not see listed online and was unexpected. The only good thing about this place were the two night workers. They were welcoming when I arrived late. Otherwise, this place is dishonest, extremely small, and not a good hostel for anyone wanting to be treated with respect!

Bad experience with the front desk staff. The front desk reception(female) staff was rude towards me. Hang up my phone while I'm talking though phone saying there is no place. I went down to lobby face to face asking my questions still the same bad attitude and show me ridiculous face . I really hope hotel management will do behaviour checking to all the staff. What to classify this is 5 star chain hotel? Local 3 star hotel staff much more polite and friendly compare to this "5 star" hotel's staff. Polite and friendly is the main purpose when dealing with customers. Otherwise that would make any guest not come back. Very bad experience...

Front staff was helpful when I asked for help about navigating the city. I wasn’t given slippers and a towel until I asked for it. The showers had no toiletries other than a pump bottle of soap. Okay for a budget hotel.

I spent about a month at this place and what a wonderful experience it was: 1. Their staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and attend to your needs. 2. The owner (who you would not even know is the owner) is on site at times and makes each guest feel valued and special. I was there during Navruz (a local holiday) and he gave each guest cake. He is not intrusive and has a cordial relationship with his staff. 3. The rooms are cleaned regularly and there is a pleasant relaxing area where you are able to use the plugs to use your laptop or charge your phone. 4. Then, my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE part of the place is their amazing breakfast. The lady who serves breakfast makes one feel like family, she has a motherly appeal to her which is exactly what one needs before a hectic day. I am truly appreciative of my time spent there.

Not sure why the ratings are so high for this place. It was decent enough, comfortable beds and clean room, but staff was pretty unfriendly. Our check-in process was a mess- they lost our reservation (i showed them e-mail confirmation) which I had made 3 months in advance. They were very unapologetic, and basically said that we could take the one room they had left, which was a more expensive family room, or leave. So we had to pay extra. They didn’t even honour the price of the initial booking. Breakfast was disgusting. Our hardboiled eggs had a grey yolk. And hotdogs. I emailed them about airport pickup, and no one got back to me. Maybe everywhere else in Tashkent is worse? I’m not sure why this place is so highly recommended. But definitely our least favorite place that we stayed in Uzbekistan.

I stayed from afternoon to late night for my flight departing at midnight. Everything in the Guesthouse is nice and lovely. Comfort room and bed. A larger shared area, including a garden, a big and warm dining room, and a well equipped kitchen.

Probably the best hostel I have ever been at from UK to Uzbekistan. The staff are friendly and helpful and fun. The location is excellent, with the Mirabod bazaar and many cafes nearby. The facilities are new and clean and well thought out (I suggested to owner to patent some of them). I highly recommend Sunrise caravan stay.

Guys, this is a great place. The staff has done an amazing work on decoration and it looks like Disneyland with and oriental version. It's also cheap, with fast internet, and a great service (free coffee and tea, snacks, relax zone). Can't advise it more! We spent there 4 nights instead of the two originally planned!

I would have given five if I didn't consider attitude and work quality of reseptionst (female) . Indeed, she really needs ethics and training lessons to be reseptionst. She doesn't really have any manners towards visitors . Because of her attitude many visitors are leaving here as they personally told me that's the only reason that they are leaving. I hope it will be fixed soon Thanks

Great place, you definitelly want to stay here when you are in Tashkent. It is the best hotel we've been in the whole Uzbekistan, plus for a good price. They call themselves hostel but offer service better than many hotels. Tasty and big breakfast, friendly staff, perfectly clean and very nice rooms and showers. Even the dormitory room is great, very nice, comfortable, equiped so you could still have privacy. And there is a tea available in the kitchen any time you want. Plus the fridge and a cooking place. I can really only recommend.

Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Nice garden to chill. Location good, about 10min to the next metro station. Many places to eat close by. The shower was quite small, rarely any space to hang your clothes. The vibe was a bit wired. Not really traveller but rather staying long there. Also all the food in the room made it smell bad. Storage was all already taken so my luggage was just somewhere. Wifi in the room did not work.

Clean and cozy hostel. The man at the front desk was very helpful with navigating our way around the city and getting us acclimatized to the hostel. Our shower drain wasn’t working in our private room however and we had to this bathe in the communal showers - since we paid for a private washroom we felt as though we should have been compensated for a working shower. Nevertheless, a great place to stay for a great price in Tashkent

One of the main highlights of my stay was the friendliness of the staff. They are always ready to render their help to you whenever you have any questions about the city, crossing the borders, and etc. There are some long stay guests there but they are respectful too. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely stay again when I visit.

We have visisted this place in October 2022. Rooms and dining room were cosy and tidy, bathroom was clean. Breakfasts were tasty. Service was also very polite and helpful. Nice place to stay :)

The hostel ambiance is cool; they have an amazing outdoor facility where you can relax, beside is the open dining area which is so cozy. You can have your coffee, water, and tea anytime you want which is free. The staff are friendly and accommodating; their receptionist can speak English and they greet you with smile always. rooms and washroom are clean; i was happy that their washroom has bidet. They have a common shower room but it is quite normal. The day before i arrived to the hostel; i heard that the owner cooked plov to all the guest, isn't it amazing. The owner is kind and friendly. The location is good; maybe 5-10 minutes walk you can access the train station; there are restaurant near the area also. I hope to be back on the same hostel when i visit tashkent. I will highly recommend sunrise caravan hostel to my freinds.

Staff stole my snickers, but direction pay me half of my new snickers worth and applied me to the blacklist. That's outrageous!

It’s a great stay, it’s very clean and cozy, staff is extraordinarily friendly. Will go there again if I’d visit Tashkent again.

Great atmosphere, well laid out hostel. Rooms are cramped. Beds are thin mattresses with no support. Was able to feel the bed frame while sleeping. Good breakfast. Staff always seems to disappear from reception so opening the front door can be difficult.

Sunrise Paradise, the family hostel in Tashkent, is a true gem. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the warm hospitality of the hosts, creates a welcoming environment for travelers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the common areas are well-maintained. The hostel's location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and local attractions. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast served every morning, featuring local delicacies. Overall, my stay at Sunrise Paradise was delightful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tashkent.
