Uzbekistan International Forums Palace, located on Amir Timur Square. The palace was ceremonially opened in September 2009 to celebrate the occasion of Tashkent’s 2200th anniversary. It is to be a place of national and international contact as well as the country´s official representative building. This is where political and commercial conventions, conferences and cultural events will be held and where guests of state will be received. Therefore, design and implementation had to comply with the highest of expectations, and the short timeframe of only four months for building the complete complex proved an added challenge. More than 5000 architects, project managers and skilled workers cooperated on this huge project.

Very luxurious and beautiful. Especially the entrance hall itself captivates visitors, and the concert hall is also very comfortable and impressive. Even if you don't enter this Palace of Forums, I recommend walking around it in the evening.

(Translated by Google) FORUM PALACE Built in the very center of Tashkent, the palace is intended for meetings of heads of state, congresses, conferences and cultural events. The area of the palace is 33,700 m². The task of the German architects Ippolito Fleitz Group (a design bureau based in Stuttgart) was to create a modern design incorporating elements of traditional Uzbek aesthetics. Despite references to classical styles on the outside, the building looks very cosmopolitan on the inside. The striving for modernity is demonstrated by the glass façade, and numerous ornaments and other types of decorative elements pay tribute to the national culture. The interior is decorated with precious metals and crystals. So, in the main foyer hangs a 23-meter chandelier made of 1.1 million Swarovski crystals. The bureau's project has received many awards at international architecture and design competitions. Beautiful Palace of International Forums. I saw there was an officer by the gates and I asked if it was possible to make a picture, to what he agreed but not including him on it.

It is also called the Palace of international Forums. It is an impressive building opened in September 2009 to celebrate the occasion of Tashkent’s anniversary. It is possible to appreciate the storks (a symbol of UZ) at the top pf the building.

This was 1st time here in this Palace of International Forums Uzbekistan. I actually have negative emotions about this building for the way and how it was built…. So, for many years I just ignored this place, though I heard a lot positive feedback from others after visiting it. So, I just gave up and visited this place for the concert of the piano play. It’s quite a big spacious place inside. The seats are very convenient in terms of both comfort and visibility. The sound speakers are good too, I enjoyed the music. P s. The side screens bother during the performance with their advertisements
