An attractive food restaurant specially for the traveller. The place is quite large with indoor & outdoor facilities. Car parking facilities are available. And, reservation is not mandatory here. Traditional Uzbekistan food items are available in here. The food is really delicious. The live kitchen is open for anyone, so everyone can see the plov cooking process. The difficult part in here is to get a table for eating your food. The indoor place is quite cozy compared to the outdoors. The most recommended item is their plov and other than their kabab items are also delicious. The prices of foods are in the medium range. Cash & card both acceptable. ♿ - accessible 💳 - accepted 🅿️ - available

It is incredible how fast their service is!? The plov is tasty and the salads go perfect with it. We enjoy every visit and some of the staff speaks English as well. The portions are big, we usually take half a portion per person. The prices are fair! We can only recommend this center to all visitors.

Absolutely delicious food prepared fresh right outside at the open kitchen. It will be a heavy meal so definitely bring an empty stomach. The accompaniments are also very good. It’s mostly meze style small dishes. Pickles, fresh vegetables, yogurts etc. The service is very fast. The prices are reasonable for the city. Ample parking space in and around the restaurant.

Disappointing. The plov is okay, a little greasy and under-spiced. Prices are great. Service however was very very bad. They placed food on the table but no silverware, and then left and couldn't be found. So eventually I went to the kitchen section and got my own spoon. (And then they force a 12% service charge for the poor service.) It's still cool to see them cooking the plov in the big vats, however - great for photos. I recommend you just order it to-go, and then enjoy it in the beautiful park across the street; you'd have a much better experience.

I believe this is the place to visit when in Uzbekistan or Tashkent specifically, else you visit alone or if you are with a tour you will be brought here by the tour group. It's really an eye opener here you can see a big main kitchen where the staff will be hard at work preparing the food that the customers will it. Basically its just 1 main dish which is the Plov and probably with different kinds of meat. When I arrived alone, I was at a loss of what to do other than visiting the kitchen and catching all the live action. I walked to the counter wanting to order food then I was told I had to be served with order taken by the waiters and then make payment only after the meal. So I walked back to the dining area and waited for someone to notice me and bring me to an empty table. I didn't really know what to order other than the Plov, and I didn't know what meat to choose I just let the waiter made the decision. He only asked me if I wanted drinks and salad. Quite surprised to see bread being served as well and they really gave me quite a lot of bread. I knew I couldn't finish and didn't want to waste so I asked for just half. I cannot understand the habit of the people here to eat bread with rice. I think the locals are used to it they will go hungry without eating like that and for me it was quite a torture as you feel like puking because it can be very filling. Nevertheless, the Plov was good and I was told there was a slice of horse meat in there. Great first experience of trying horse meat. It was quite an enjoyable meal and also witnessing the spectacle in the kitchen. There are 2 areas to dine, either outdoor or air-conditioning in the indoors. I would also recommend visiting this as this is not something common you see when you visit restaurants.

Sit first, you'll be served directly with the bill, once finished take the bill to one of the tills to pay. I was served horsemeat with rice and raisins. The bread is exquisite. Green tea great!! The price is super reasonable around 5€. I went on a Sunday the place was packed with locals and you need to navigate it. Took a while to be served but ok. A local asked me to change seats to accommodate his party, which was completely unnecessary. Uzbekistan is proving to be a men's land, which doesn't sit well with me.

This place is fantastic and it’s a true and exciting experience. The quality of food is very highly. Everything is super delicious and this place has got a character. I can’t stress it enough how much I love it here. The plot itself was on of the best ones I tried even though it is very busy and seems to be touristy. The only problem was - getting a table. You basically have to wait till someone leaves and rush to get the table. I was there with the locals who seemed to be natural in doing it but for me it was a bit too stressful. However if you avoid coming during the rush hour, such as lunch, you’ll be absolutely fine. Enjoy!

Famous Plov restaurant serving salads, Plov & other traditional Uzbek foods. The food was delicious. The best Plov we had in Uzbekistan. We had 1 Plov with eggs & horse meat to share as 1 portion is quite big. Plus, some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. It was very reasonably priced. There is seating inside & out for hundreds & they cook in massive woks on a big scale to feed thousands per day. It's worth a visit just to see the open kitchen, which you can walk through & see for yourself. A must visit in Tashkent.

Food was fresh and delicious, service was fast and friendly. Hygiene needs improvement, I saw some flies in the restaurant. Spoons, forks, etc need to be put in a closed plastic bags for better hygiene. Also, they made a mistake in my order!!! Very few speak English in the restaurant, Google Translate is helpful at such place. Overall, highly recommended.

The flavor is outstanding, fresh, fast and reasonably priced. I took Chaikhana plov first time around (on the picture), and was warned that it's really heavy - this is totally true, chunks of mutton, lots of lard, tea is a must with it, and you better be active to burn it off :) The second visit ordered wedding plov (tai oshi) - the one with chickpeas and raisins. Less meat, but absolutely delicious as well.

My youngest son had karate finals, and here in the basement of Beshqozon café there are several area where children do sports. It was 0600pm and there were many people, that surprised actually. I had 2 hours and usually I don’t eat in the evenings especially heavy meals, so I managed to go back and forth watching the plov. However, I gave up after 75minutes and was heading to the table. There seemed to be many waiters, so took a table and waited for someone to come. After 10mniutes no one did, so I decided to keep the service fee and headed to the cashier, to pay and deliver myself. There were 4types of plov so I just took a regular Tashkent one 0.7kg for 32k soum or 2.9usd. Then I went and paid for salad 6ksoum or 0.5 US cents. Well I have to admit, that I have read a lot from locals about bad plov here, but I didn’t expect it myself. The plov is 2* out of 5. If you come and see the scale of the kitchen and huge pots they cook plov you will definitely want to taste so did I. But, it doesn’t worth it. What I noticed is that the chefs are young, perhaps that is the main reason. Anyway, if you have guests and want to impress them with scale of cooking plov, you can come here and they will be impressed as they don’t eat plov a lot wouldn’t notice it. If you are local and want to eat plov avoid this place. It’s Tashkent the city of many cafes where they cook delicious plov.

I loved the ambience of this place and the plov was quite filling as well. I think it is served with 3 types of meat, it tasted okay, in my opinion. It cost me 63000 uzs for one plate of plov, salad and coke. The salad consists of mostly tomatoes unlike salads in India! The dish was too sweet in my opinion but if you are in Tashkent do visit once. When you enter the restaurant, that is the best part - you get to see the kitchen and massive cooking pots and utensils! Lovely ❤️ For more check out the Bangla vlog on my channel - Ghosh Babu Adventures, cheers! 😎

One of the best wedding plovs in the city. It is located right next to the TV tower of Tashkent. They offer three types of plovs such as Chaykhana plov, Wedding plov and Osovbiy (Special) plov. Special plov is made with olive oil so that they call it special. We ordered wedding plov with a salad. Plov tastes very well and the service is fast they brought the plov before tea it is somehow wonderful. The price is a bit higher than some other places but it's worth. Last time I ordered Chaykhana plov but I didn't like it because it's made heavily on sheep meet and I don't usually eat sheep meet. If you haven't taste plov I recommend to order only wedding plov. I recommend this place as they offer best plovs and interior design also beautiful. Come and eat plov.

Great experience, friendly staff and very yummy Plov. This is a place to visit to try plov, its cheap, it tastes great and is all around a nice experience. There is an entrance to car park and restaurant just before the tv tower, there is a car sales place next to it so entrance easy to spot if your taxi doesnt drop you right at the place. Staff speak Uzbek, Russian and English and are friendly and happy to help. I would suggest to just get everything, Plov, salad, bread and drinks. For two this came to about £7 and was very enjoyable.

Staff were very friendly and made sure I was served with an English speaking waitress. If you arrive around 12pm you can see the huge pans filled with rice and being cooked in front of you. A must see for a tourist. The plov was also delicious and mine contained horse meat and quail eggs which was exotic compared to you average plov.

The premier Plov restaurant in Tashkent. Easy to get to on the Subway with a short walk. Huge cooking bowls are in use from late morning to cook the mountains of Plov to be eaten during the day. Arrive after 3PM and only the smaller bowls will be in action.

Want to see plov being openly prepared in huge saucepans stirred with stirring spoons the size of paddles? Warning, it’s hot, oily and firey, but by crikey is it exciting to watch. I was there to see the start of preparations around 10am. Another reviewer mentions it’s best to arrive just before 12pm. Still, there was loads going on mid-morning.

One of the famous place for traditional uzbek plov . Always crowded. If you go there by yourself you might be lost. And visiting first time better take a table and make your order with waiters . IWhen you enter the main area go to the right and on the left side you will see cabins - sign “kassa” with the menu on the window. So pay your choice and go to get your pilov with the ticket . There is also rent a car from the outside Generally Pilov is delicious for those who never eat or never cook and pilov from huge kazan will be always yummy. But I was expecting something better. Still definitely recommending you most try and its worth to visit

Very busy during lunchtime, probably best plov in town. Do not expect ultra luxury though - just the best example of the rice dish the country is known for in quintessentially a traditional Uzbek setting 😋 The open-air cooking on the way in is well worth checking out, perhaps a chatter with the cooks if you are into cooking and know some Russian or Uzbek 👍👍

The best place to eat Plov or Pilaf in Tashkent. The flavor is so strong and savory that you enjoy every spoon. You can add a small or big egg and horsemeat to it if you like. If you're not a fan of strong fat and mutton taste then this is not your place.

This is a place to try real Uzbek plov. They have 3 types of plov. Go there during mid day, it could be a bit confusing as there are quiete many people: just enter, seat anywhere where you see a free place, wait for the waiter and then ask for your plov, when you finish go with the paper they left on your table to cash desk and pay. It’s not expensive at all, and very tasty.
