My friend Azim Jon from Uzbekistan recommended this place to me when I asked for the best steakhouse in Tashkent. I approach from the outside and it looks like a high end restaurant. I walk and and I’m greeted in english by a nice hostess. I’m seated and as I wait for the waiter, I notice soft music and an outdoor garden and wonderful decor. I can even see the work in the kitchen through glass and it’s transparent and fantastic. I’m still waiting for the waiter and it’s not even particularly busy. Most tables are empty although I do notice that the majority of waiters are reveling amongst themselves. Someone finally comes to take my order after 10 minutes. I order steak with grilled vegetables. I receive my order and it’s a work of art. Perfectly moist meat. An absolutely phenomenal steak. The problem is, I’m thirsty and all I have is a glass is water. I don’t have a pitcher and I also don’t have a waiter to ask for more water. Now I’m really annoyed because at this point, I just want to get the check, go home and drink some darn water!! But all the workers and waiters are partying among themselves! Here’s the problem with former SSR states. They have not developed - and possibly never will develop - an understanding of service. They exist in a society where the price is set and there is no reason to provide better service, as tipping is not a convention. So here I am eating a great meal and wanting to tip - but I can’t - because I can’t even get the darn check! So this is a restaurant that APPEARS high end - but it’s a fiction. On the inside, the waiters are all essentially just passing time and goofing off. Note: my friend who recommended this place apparently never ate here. But he understood the APPEARANCE of luxury.

I've been positively surprised from this place! Perfect dishes and overall service, meat was awesome! Delicious lamb ribs! Strange that there is no any alcohol, but they permits to use your brought ones. And the last, but not least - the price can also surprise you, but in another way ;) This is a quite expensive place to eat here often , especially if you are a local.

Meals are delicious, serving is much better than their competitors. Beyond of your expectations. Garden and also interior is feeling yourself better.

Ok, the place is good I do recommend it, but there are some things you should be aware of. 1) they don't serve alcohol, so stake you will be eating wine free :( 2) for stake they use Russian Miratorg(marble beef), that is usually ok, but was denyed due to personal sanctions. Or local beef that is ok, but not great for stakes, atleast I definitely don't recommend it medium rare. 3) All tables outside were booked when I came, so probably it makes sense to book a table before comming. 4) service was good and fast except the stake which took a bit too long to cook, not a big deal. The important part that it was cooked right. So my personal opinion is that this is a good place, if you don't need alcohol and don't expect superior stake, an sure that lamb here will be perfect.

We obviously didn’t believe a single word as they had already confirmed the table and the time and the date. We even went PHYSICALLY to pay the deposit (the deposit was payed). They also changed our table twice before, and then they decide to call us afterwards to tell us we dont get our table. We payed the deposit for a specific table as it was a special event. They refused to give us the table we payed for and gave us another table which is obviously not what we payed for at all. The service was high level too, had to ask several times to fill my glass with some drinks. I don't know the bill as I was a guest on a friend's birthday. Buy luckily I know that there's another place in Tashkent I should avoid visiting))
