One of the oldest mosques in Uzbekistan - Islam Ata Mosque has a 300-year history. Previously, it was called "Jorabek", but now it was renamed in honor of the first President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov.

I have been here many times. I used to come to the old mosque but this new one now is totally different. Very modern and beautiful. The inside is awesome very well decorated. The place for taking wudhu is also very clean and tidy. Great architecture work, definitely a great place to perform salah.
