We usually put some research into where we want to eat while traveling, but we tried this place because it's right near where we were staying and we were exhausted from a day out running around. This was a mistake. I bet it would be great to just grab a drink and watch a game, but the food and service left a lot to be desired. On the service side, there really isn't any. You have to either download an app to order to your table, or go to the bar with your table number and put it in with the tender. We chose the latter and someone did bring it out to us, and the order was correct. But if you need napkins or anything else that might not already be on the table, you have to get up and get it yourself (not a huge deal, just something to note). I would also add that because everyone in the bar is doing this, for every food and drink order, there is always a line to put something in, and I only saw two bartenders doing that, so you're gonna wait a bit before you get any food or drink unless you download that awful app. On the food side, to be fair, I will say we ordered two things that Britain is not known for, Nachos and Pizza. I eat a fair amount of both of these items, pretty much anywhere that offers them, as I like to compare styles and similarities across regions. We ordered the nachos with BBQ beef added. These nachos might be the worst I've ever had. I know this is gonna sound a bit pretentious, but there was uneven disbursement of the toppings, and what I believe was canned salsa (all on the right side), and pre-packaged guacamole (all on the left side). The "tortilla" chips were super thick and each one shaped almost perfectly, like they had been cooked in a mold. Also, there was barely any cheese on them at all, which I would argue is the main component of nachos. I am not trying to be mean, but if the owner/chef happens to read this, I sincerely encourage you to take this off the menu, or at least revise it completely. I can't imagine anyone eating this and thinking it was good. The pizza was alright, although the dough isn't quite what you would expect when ordering pizza, it still wasn't bad. It had a fair amount of toppings, that were again, not really disbursed around the surface area correctly. But this was an average pie all things considered. Perhaps we got the only poorly curated item on the menu. When looking at the pictures of other items, they do not look so pathetic. I won't be going back to try them though, and perhaps you shouldn't gamble either. I still maintain that this place would probably be great to just sit and drink while watching a game, you just can't eat nachos while doing it.

Nice little bar, I haven’t noticed that it exists although I walked by it so many times. Good location near Chancery Lane, but not over crowded like pubs near tube stations. Prices like everywhere. The onion ring is devine.

Good place to watch premier league games. Lots of space and good service. Good service and good beers. Atmosphere was pretty decent too. Pretty sure I gets really busy on weekdays. But weekend is best time to be here.

Nice food and reasonable beer. On a Friday night the service was slow and the place was very noisy.

Great place if you happen to be in London and need to have a drink. Very modern and spacious they held private parties since the place can easily accommodate more than 50 people. I was invited to such for the Costa Rican independence day and although service was scarce and not very responsive they finally delivered. It's not cheap.

I went her with work. It is a pretty cool bar, focusing as. Sportsman bar. So many tvs around in a cool setup. A nice menu with small finger foods as well pizzas. For the small plates a discount if you order a minimum of 3. Halloumi and gyoza could be better, but for a sports bar it is still worthy

Nice pub with plenty of space. It’s pretty loud, so don’t expect to be able to have a lot of conversation, but it serves a late dinner and is a good choice in an otherwise barren area. We took burgers, which were fairly good - there’s a deal on where you can add a drink for 50p. They lost one of our group’s orders but rushed it through when we checked.

Decent space and good beer selection but seriously understaffed. We went on a Saturday 8pm for an England team world cup game. You would think this is peak time so the kitchen is fully stocked and the team is ready. Well no. Two waiters for a full pub. It took us 45 minutes to get a drink when we arrived. Our order on the app was ignored. 95% of the food menu was not available from the start. Chips served uncooked, mushy cauli wings. The app doesn’t work. And then to top it off the beer taps stoped working. Ah and it’s expensive, £4 a small glass of tap coke and £7,5 pints. To enhance the experience, the staff was really not friendly (to be fair to them they were having a really hard time)

Met a mate here and used to use the place regularly when I was local to the area. Not very busy for a Friday night. Clean and the beer was good. Staff didn't seem to happy to be there and were pretty aloof. After waiting 10 mins and no signs of anyone anywhere to take our order, we moved on elsewhere.

Really good food and beer. Great service from Riley and Diana. Both down for a good laugh and very friendly. Although it was loud they made sure I was comfortable.

I went in here just a few days ago and it's the most Christmassy pub I've ever seen! So beautiful! Shared a pizza with my friend and it was delicious too. Staff were fab, overall a real hidden gem!

Amazing service from Ava and Sim today! Thank you so much for everything! Service with a smile and laughter alongside a cracking pint of cider. Reasonably priced food and drinks with a lush chill atmosphere! Definitely worth a visit!

Honestly one of my favourite pubs in central. Delicious pizzas, incredible choice of beers, and lovely, lovely staff! Scott always greets me and the mates with a smile as I arrive which always makes us feel super welcome. Love this place!

Was on my way for a leavings do with a colleague and came across this place, so decided to pop in as we had time to spare for a quick drink. Such a nice place. Spacious and not crowded (we was here from around 4pm though :P). The Staff here are nice and friendly especially Steven aka Buddy. He came around every now and again to make sure we were ok and We had a good laugh and it made our evening so much so we decided to stay for a few more rounds before leaving. It did start to get busier at around 6 but was still a nice atmosphere to be in. Would definitely be coming again with friends :)

Lovely night had by our firm tonight. Gabby was absolutely fantastic with bringing the food, making sure all empty plates and glasses were cleared. Also made some fantastic cocktails. Steven was absolutely brilliant, really cheerful and happy to help with our cocktails and various drinks we ordered throughout the night. Top service by Gabby and Steven

We decided to have our wedding party at the Editors Tap after looking at many places and are we glad we did! Amazing venue and amazing team that made sure everything went as well as it possibly could. Communication with the manager Scott in advance of the party was fantastic, very thorough. Scott, Gabi and the rest of the team went out of their way on the evening to ensure our guests were looked after. The cocktails were amazing and the food very tasty. We would highly recommend for an event and would love to do it all over again! Thanks to all the team here for making it a night to remember.

Visited for a live podcast event. Food and drinks were good. Seats were small and too tightly packed together though. Also had issues with speaker system.

In London for a weekend away. Came across this pub, seems a big place with plenty of seating and large menu with 2-4-1 cocktails all day every day. Person behind the bar clearly in a mood “no cocktails, no staff”. Understand at peak time with low staff, but 2pm on a weekday?

A vibrant pub suitable for big crowds and small groups, esp soccer lovers as there are big tv showing soccer games. Nice beer, average burger and very friendly bartender. I was travelling alone but I still enjoy the vibe and environment very much.

Nice pub, phoned to book table for 11 for. Xmas could not fit us in but on the day we walked in as the other place we booked only had set meal and we needed a quick lunch. The ET was able to accommodate us on the day thankfully. Hence Ive still given 5 stars because we all enjoyed the food and ambiance. Although I question why they couldn't have booked us in when I called before as it would if saved us alot of hassle as this was our 1st choice and preferred pub 😁 maybe another group cancelled and we benefited from it. Thankyou ET would def visit again.

Mainly went here to use their loo! Nice loos thankfully. Obs, I was compelled to consume a pint or so of their ale, and spent a pleasant 15 minutes supping and chilling. Nice staff, nice environment....nice pub.

We visit Editor's tap as a part of the 200 years anniversary of Costa Rica's independence. The place is conveniently located in London and is quite easy to find. The location is neat and the service although it was a special date was good. I would definitely recommend this place for special occasions such as this one, there was around 100 people in but it did not feel crowded. The restrooms were clean as well.

Great pub! I went for lunch with some colleagues a few days ago as their lunch deal sounded very appealing. Food and drink was spot on. Staff were great and very friendly. Definitely visiting again soon.
