Yesterday I went at night to enjoy this place that my friends have highly recommended. I went to the entrance and asked a nice guy at the door how much the ticket cost. I was with my friends in the corner of the place waiting for another friend, when we headed towards the door the head of security called (Jerk supposedly) stared at us with a face of contempt and looking the other way. I asked him if we could go in, and with a displeased look and tone he told us that we couldn't, I asked him why and he told me that the place was supposedly full of boys. when it was just 11:50 at night and we had been waiting outside for a while to see the place and not many people entered. Even when I asked how much the entrance ticket cost, the boy kindly answered me. I even asked him if there were many people and he told me that it was normal, not very crowded. We waited a few minutes outside after the head of security had told us that we couldn't enter, and after a few minutes 4 guys came in and he didn't say anything to them, he let them pass without any problem. It is the first time that I visit this place and because friends have recommended it to me. But the attitude of people like that is very disappointing. I even explained to him that he came to spend money at his place and he knew how to answer that he didn't care that he wouldn't let me in. Really unfortunate

Always buzzing with good music & friendly crowd. The restaurant also offers an excellent selection of Plant-based tapas which was delicious & good portions. Excellent selection of drinks from cocktails to Mexican beers...even better to get those during the happy hour. Helpful staff. Top spot for a fun evening.

Very friendly staff and nice place. Reasonable prices for the location. Great place to eat and dance the night away. Looks small from the outside but very big downstairs and lots of different areas for eating and dancing.

DO NOT GO THIS PLACE FOR FOOD! Better you go Tesco, Sainsbury’s or even Iceland. The food is bad!!! Don’t waste your money here! Now, if you’re looking for salsa classes and so on, then this is your place, good party, music and classes. But not for food!!!!

So glad I stopped here for a couple of pre dinner drinks. It was early but plenty of people were here but the cool salsa music pulled me in. I can’t judge the food but plenty of people were eating, lots of laughter and smiling faces, it felt pretty good! The outside area felt safe, a bit protected from street traffic which I liked. Downstairs was where it was happening, cool lighting and a dance floor. Plenty of dancing happening here for sure! I’ll be back for that. Cocktails are half price between 4 and 8 so perfect for theatre drinks!

Extremely rude and arrogant staff at the front door when I came by on Wednesday night. They definitely lost a customer in me. Proud to have 34 million views of my collection of photos on Google maps. I am grading on a full 5-star scale and do so with an implicit price-value curve. I am aware that many others on social media may grade on a 3-point (4 being an average score) or 2-point scale (4 being a poor score), but the fact remains that Google gives us a 5-point scale. To me, 4 stars is great, 3 stars is average and 5 stars should be rare - reserved for true excellence or near perfection.

We came here with no reservation but still managed to get some seats. The club itself has a great atmosphere. Drinks are a bit pricey but worth it. Overall had a great experience. Definitely will be coming back to have more fun!

Cool enough venue located under ground with large dance floor and some instructors giving some free dance lessons from the stage (included in entrance fee). Food was pretty average, couldn't finish the burger even though I hadn't eaten all day. Asked for a caiprioska and the bar tender took it upon himself to make an amaretto based version which was pretty yuk. Has a good selection of Latino bottled beers although none from Brazil. Overall the Vibe was good there, Just prob wouldn't recommend the food although it does have a few vegan options.

It was 2 birthdays together party. We had amazing hostess Mari and fantastic waitress Erica! Those two ladies provided very memorable service and made our evening even more special. Bless them, as it was extremely busy but they kept smiling and went extra mile for us. The food was absolutely delicious and on time. Erica also helped me with our bday cake, so sweet of her. Great vibe and atmosphere, I had nothing negative about my experience there. We def will come back there one day, all my guests were impressed. Thank you! Xxx

Officially one of my favourite spots in soho! The vibe is great and very well cared for, the selection of tapas is great, but the cocktail menu is IMPRESSIVE. The chocolate cocktail (can't remember its name) is to die for. And the 2for1 deal during happy hour makes it all even better!

Had an unpleasant visit to this place. There is not place in London where you will be treat unfairly at the bar from the actual MANAGER of the place. That guy who claims to be the Manager need to review his manager skills. Definitely not giving a good importance to customer satisfaction: I will continue to visit Salsa as is a good place where to have fun bur will be definitely salsa temple as I never had a similar issue of this kind.

Went for my friends 40th birthday, absolutely loved it, they made us feel very welcome and seated us straight away. They made my friend feel very special, which is what I wanted 🥳❤️💕 Only moan is once it got busier, the drinks were fairly slow to come but we were ordering cocktails!! Which are half price 4-8pm. The food was so good, we went on a Thursday and they have a free introductory to Salsa class at 7pm and then ones you paid for afterwards, wish I lived closer, as would 100% go weekly. Top night, thanks Salsa Soho 🙌🏼

The people at the entrance do not know how to treat a customer, they handle an impressive arrogance. they believe they are the owners of the place and all they do is treat the consumers badly. I don't really recommend it and I think they shouldn't attend. people like them are not worth having a hard time. They don't respect the Latino culture and claim to be a Latino club.

Salsa Soho is the best club in London in terms of safety, food and staff. I feel at home every time I go there, with friends or by myself. The food is so tasty and diverse, and the service is excellent. I totally recommend this place for celebrating a special event or for a night out with friends!

My favorite Latino club. Great atmosphere and a free dancing class at 7 pm most of the days. Really good happy hours and close late. The only trouble is really crowded during weekends.

I had my 30th birthday party on the 15th of December there (which I had planned to be in Salsa Soho a long time ago, as I love the place) and it was a huge thing for me, but when I arrived, there was some big misunderstanding, caused by the booking team. The manager on shift that evening-a lady with dark hair ( I am SO sorry I can't remember her name) not only did everything she could to fix the problem, but she also made my night incredible with her kindness and professionalism. I will always remember that and I will soon come back, especially to thank her again!

Nice atmosphere. Cheap happy hour cocktails. Veg coconut curry was half cold, probably microwaved.

The food is OK but the vibe music service is great. Came here for a Saturday night girls night out and had a great time. Sangria was not that bad and our waiter Pavan really took care of us. Thanks Salsa soho for this lovely night. 😍

FALSE ADVERTISING 1) NO 'FREE' SALSA LESSONS ON THURSDAYS: * I made a booking in Salsa Bar Soho on Thursday 07/10/2021 for ten people to celebrate my work leaving do. Salsa bar advertises on the website the picture that I'm uploading to this review, saying that they have a 'Free Intro Salsa Class' at 07:00 Pm. and the 'Cross Body salsa' begins at 07:30 Pm giving the impression that you'll get a 30 min free class. * The man they featured in the ad is the person coordinating the class, and I had to chase him between 07:00 Pm until 07:20 Pm for the lesson. But he was claiming that they don't give free classes on Thursdays. I had to explain that I had invited ten people to my leaving drinks and persuaded them for the free class. I had to show him a picture of my booking, and while giving me a terrible attitude, he said that he would use the image for the club to pay his class and acted like he was doing me a favour. In the end, my friends got a 10 MINUTE 'free' class, only because I chased the man. 2) TWO PEOPLE SERVING DRINKS DURING HAPPY HOUR: They only had two people serving drinks during the happy hour, and even though we arrived at the club at 5:30 Pm. we had to do a massive queue to get drinks because there was too much demand for the number of people serving. After the happy hour, there were more people serving drinks. 3) IF YOU BOOK THE BOOTH NEAR THE DANCE FLOOR, YOU HAVE TO ORDER FOOD FROM THE BAR If you book booths near the dance floor, they don't take orders at the table, even for food. So, if you want to order food you have to make a queue of hundreds of people to order food too. 4) THEY DON'T COLLECT EMPTY BOTTLES OR GLASSES FROM THE TABLE: We were ten people sitting in two booths. We arrived at 05:30 Pm. By the time we left at 09:30 pm., nobody had bothered collecting them even once. We left because we had so many empty bottles that we could not put anything else on the tables. 5) YOU CAN'T USE THE DANCEFLOOR UNLESS YOU PAY FOR THE CLASS: The lessons take over the dancing floor, and if you just want to dance on your own or with your friends for fun without following the class, the teachers keep badgering you to prove that you had paid for the class.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Salsa in Soho, and I must say, it was an enjoyable experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the vibrant and lively atmosphere. Salsa's decor and ambiance immediately transported me to a place filled with Latin American flair and energy. The colorful decorations, Latin music, and lively crowd created an inviting and celebratory atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable evening. The service at Salsa was commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to make our dining experience enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions we had. Their warmth and enthusiasm added to the overall positive experience. Now, onto the food. The menu at Salsa boasts a fantastic array of Latin American dishes, and the flavors did not disappoint. We sampled a variety of dishes, from empanadas to ceviche, and each one was a burst of authentic and bold flavors. The empanadas were perfectly crispy, and the fillings were well-seasoned and delicious. The ceviche was fresh and tangy, a delightful appetizer that set the stage for the main course. For the main course, I had the pleasure of trying their signature dish, which was a combination of grilled meats and seafood. The flavors were outstanding, and the portions were generous. It was a true culinary journey through Latin American cuisine, with each bite offering a new and exciting taste. And let's not forget about the happy hour at Salsa! It's an enticing addition to the experience, offering fantastic drink specials that perfectly complement the delicious food. Whether you're in the mood for a classic mojito, a refreshing caipirinha, or a margarita with a spicy twist, Salsa's happy hour has you covered. Salsa in Soho is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. The lively atmosphere, friendly service, delectable food, and enticing happy hour make it a must-visit for anyone looking to savor the flavors of Latin America in the heart of Soho. Whether you're a fan of Latin cuisine or just looking for a fun and memorable dining experience, Salsa is a fantastic choice. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return for more.

We visited Salsa - Soho for a hen night and I have to say.....we were not disappointed!! We had a nice booth area, and fairly quickly, we were provided with our menus and received our cocktails that were part of our package deal! The food was nice, not great but nice enough that we didn't complain. The cocktails were lovely and not too watered down like other places. The waiters were friendly and very helpful and kindly allowed us to keep our booth beyond the allocated 2 hrs! We particularly loved the salsa lesson for beginners. It was a lot of fun and great to meet and dance salsa with new people! All in all, it was a lovely experience, and we will visit Salsa Soho again!

The ambiance here is fantastic, the food's delicious, and the drinks are reasonably priced. However, I've had a recurring issue with the service charge. Despite requesting it to be removed twice due to unsatisfactory service, the staff has been rude both times. It's frustrating to pay for a service charge when basic elements like cutlery for the ordered food are missing. The staff should acknowledge that not everyone is willing to pay for subpar service and address this issue professionally. Unfortunately we had to use an empty bowl to wipe our hands…

Maria has been such a joy tonight. Came with an Argentinian friend and had so much fun. Will come back for sure!!!

Really bad experience with the door staff acting really weird, very unprofessional behaviour from “security” trying to intimidate customers, asking questions such as if they “want problems tonight” I suppose to provoke and take advantage of if anyone was intoxicated, extremely rude attitude from receptionist “Alex” and a black male who refused to give his name. A suggestion; they should wear body cam, to protect themselves but also so that the disgusting way the communicate with customers is recorded. It was Halloween and they both looked very grumpy, and rubbed onto me and the group of people I was with as they refused us entry because we were a large group. Do not waste time here staff are unpleasant and should find another job if they don’t want to interact with customers. Went to salsa temple instead had a slightly better night.

Great atmosphere and if you like dancing to Latin music, this is the place to do it on Friday nights in Central London. Happy Hour from 6-8pm so you can enjoy some drinks and food before showing off you dance moves

Atmosphere was great, food was wonderful and the happy hour cocktails were varied and a treat. Our server, Daniel was extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant. A joyous evening for sure. Next time will have to get involved with thr salsa lessons!

Would definitely recommend to go dancing and to have drinks / cocktails there. They have an amazing playlist and great ambiance. I personally would not go for dinner again as the food is either too salty or is served cold. One dish that I would recommend not trying at all is the empanada.

It is my 2nd time here at Salsa Soho and it definitely won't be my last. The 1st time was drinks only but on return I had a meal which was from the Carnival menu which is excellent value for money. The food was very tasty and our waitress Erica was very friendly and attentive.

I went on Thursday night with a group of friends, and the place looked amazing, people dancing on the dance-floor and the music created a really good atmosphere. The food was also great! We shared some tapas, and the croquettes and the tacos were probably my favorite. But my highest highlight was Erica, such good service! She was so nice and friendly, and she also help us to choose our drinks, obviously, she was completely right! I'll definitely come back.

Right so I came her a couple of weeks ago with a few of my girlfriends and I must say that the service wasn't the best. As we arrived at the front door everything seemed to be going pretty well until we got downstairs to the restaurant area. We waited to be seated for about 15/20 min and there was no one at the downstairs reception. Eventually a lady appeared and asked my if I had a booking and I said yes, however for whatever reason I didn't seem to be on their reservation list and I felt quite embarrassed in front of my friends so I pulled out the reservation confirmation and the lady at the desk didn't know what to do as they didn't have a spare table for us. Luckily another table was leaving so we waited 10 min more for them to clear it and we finally sat down. When we thought that the worst bit was over they managed to prove us wrong. We all ordered the food and drinks together thinking that it would arrive at the same time but that wasn't the case. Our food arrived first which took about 10 min which is very good considering that they were busy however our drinks too nearly 2 HOURS by which time we had already decided that we would pay up and go somewhere else. I guess the reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 2 is because we got a bottle of prosecco for free. The food and the drinks were alright however the only time we would go back is if it was really quiet and they had enough staff to look after us. Such a shame as we were planning to get absolutely wasted and spend loads of money that night but clearly they didn't want it. :D

Terrible experience with the front door staff from Regency Security guys to the manager. They are arrogant and extremely rude and treat people with disrespect. They think they own the place. I have been to several places but really never came across to a behaviour like that. Do not recommend the place.

Not only taste of the food is awesome here but the staff is very friendly and polite. Mainly the person with the name VIJAY is down to earth person and very friendly. I visit the store very frequently because of him and he receives me every time with very kind attitude. Management is very much appreciated for having such people in the shop. I loved the below items very much
