I had an event on the weekend at Atura and let me say this: If you're a big family and love to eat, this is not the place for you. I paid so much money only to be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Where do I even begin: * Upon arrival, the food was not ready. No cups/drinks on the table. The food wasn't even out yet. When it was served, it was cold. * There were two tea stations. However, for both coffee machines, the water was not refilled. * There was no one at the bar waiting to serve people. * I ordered buffet to feed 60 people. Whilst we were waiting for the food to be refilled, I was told by one of the employees that there was a limit and that was all the food. There was no more food in the kitchen. Meanwhile, my guests were inside hungry and waiting for food. * Plates - I had to ask the employees to get more plates as there were not enough. * Time limit - My event was from 12PM - 3:30PM. One of the staff was EXTREMELY RUDE to my mother and told her that the event ended at 2PM - TWICE. * The staff were rude to my guests * The OVERALL SERVICE was APPALLING !!! W.T.F ! My mother, parents in law, partner, brother and sister were constantly running around and making sure that our guests were fine and WE CONSISTENTLY went to the front desk to ask them to * refill plates * bring out dessert * ask for a bartender * make sure the food was hot We felt like our event wasn't taken seriously. We paid so much money ($5K) only to be running around - may as well be working a Sunday shift. There was only one young female employee and I must give her full credit for sticking around and doing everything herself. Her male co-worker was no where to be seen after only serving 2 drinks. I wish I got her name to thank her. But to her male coworker and the other older female coworker - what an absolute nightmare. Extremely disappointing and wasted our money. I 1000% would NOT be coming here EVER again !!!!

Great location for business, not too close to much else. Nice rooms and on site facilities

Rooms are clean and serviceable. Staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was ok. There weren't a lot of people eating but the bacon and sausage were stacked high so sitting under the lights for a while. My biggest disappointment is the no cash policy. Would have had dinner and drinks here but no cash policy means I take my business elsewhere. I understand why some companies don't want to handle cash but it affects the customer experience in a negative way. There was 2 other couples at breakfast we started talking to who were also put out by the no cash policy. I'm sure it's costing you business as there wasn't many people there but 3 couples won't come back while this policy is being implemented. Hope this feedback helps.

The hotel isnt too bad for the money and the location was excellent for what we needed. Room was comfortable, (little dusty), TV and movies were a bonus, cot already set up in room ready to go when we got there. Did the online checkin which seemed a waste of time, as when I got there I still had to fill out the same info as what was in the app. A ticket spat out with a room number on it and no indication as to where it was located, just worked it out while waiting for the lift that it was on the ground floor. More like a docket you get waiting for a meal at maccas. No info about changes to parking at time of booking through booking.vom and nothing on the website either. Carpark was closed for line marking (on a weekend). We had to ask about the parking as we had a disability parking ticket and the car park was closed with no alternative parking thought about for disability permit holders. So ticked off as we got back at night and the parking was 1km from the front door, mean while the electric cars were parked right next to the enterance charging. Disable customers had to walk. Too bad if we had a wheel chair, pushing it up a hill to the enterance. Seemed communication with customers needed improving from management so people were fully aware and could book elsewhere as not suitable to their needs. Your manager did offer the loading dock but wasnt sure if we could park there all night and no parking at the door was offered thanks for making the cuatomer look like the idiot.

Much much better than expected to be honest. Clean, large rooms, buffet breakfast, large pool. This place ticked all the boxes if wanting to explore western Sydney / blue mountains. Sydney Motorsport Park. Raging Waters. Sydney zoo. Featherdale wildlife Park. Blue Mountains. Skyline Drive in. Blacktown markets. Just to name a few spots. We will definitely be staying again.

Location was just down the road from a christening party we attended. Rooms were very clean and receptionist was very friendly! Pool looked lovely- but didn't use as it is winter. Hubby played pool with my 5 yo son in the morning before check out which he loved. He loved the old school car out the front! Rooms weren't the most well lit but good enough. Pillows were harder than usual and higher than usual- which suited me perfectly!!! Bed was very comfortable!!

A pleasant surprise for a hotel convenient located west of Sydney and close to some major attractions like the Sydney zoo. Quiet even with the drive in cinema on in the evening which is a fun bonus for the kids to see. I would highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff, above average food and right in the location I needed. And they allowed me to check in early even though I booked the same day as my stay.

The meal last night was incredible, great rooms, bed was comfy. Car park is a little small

A bit of a weird one... two staff bickering at the counter as I try to check in, thinking their argument is more important than getting me to my room. Photo attached is apparently my room with a garden view - just missing the actual garden I guess. Room is certainly sufficient for a night. Big bed might be the only redeeming feature of the room.

I never had a issue with them up until one of there maids walked in whilst I had a do not disturb sign up. I complain to management about her walking in without permission. The maid then lied to them and said I had it facing the room service side. Which is a complete load of bull because I had it on do not disturb from the second I walked into the room . No ther person had a issue with it . Every time I called room service they all respected the sign apart from this one maid . Then they tried turning it all on me saying I’m smoking pot in there. I told them they can come in and inspect n that I didn’t smoke pot in there I’d be one idiot to do it at a place with no windows. Fire brigades will be there within minutes . I told them 100% I smoke in the car but not in the room . Then after they had just extended my stay earlier that morning for another three nights they told me I had to leave . So I just left but I thought that ppl should just know about how I was treated

Friendly staff that served tasty food at a birthday function. Facility may consider enhancing CCTV system to cover kerbside parking outside the facility. My vehicle got keyed while parked kerbside for 3.5 hours. Great facility internally, but located at a place where dodgy people keying vehicles frequent. Extra caution by visitors warranted.

We had our anniversary party in one of the function rooms. Event staff was excellent in planning and on the night. Buffet was enjoyed by our guests. Front desk was very helpful from our check in to check out. My only criticism is the hotel room. While comfy, the lighting was too dim. Central light would be great.

Enjoyed our stay here. ( 4 nights ). Room was exactly as described. Staff were friendly and the place had a nice retro look. Kids enjoyed the pool and the self check in and check out process was hassle free and easy to do.

Quirky retro hotel with industrial features. Different vibe between laid back youth hostel and boutique. Friendly staff, good bar, great buffet restaurant. Awful view, dark corridors and not the comfortable bed I’d wished for (very soft and two singles pushed together) but worth 4 stars for facilities

My partner and I stayed for a night and went to the drive in movie was fantastic. Atmosphere is great in the hotel, room was fantastic and bed was amazing. Slept so well. Shower and bathroom was great. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, food was so good and massive range as well. Will definitely be staying again soon!

It was all very nice, but the bed had a bad spring and wasn't made. The food was WAY more overpriced than usual, but the service people were very friendly.

Cleaning seems to be invented there, rooms not clean and prints on the curtains seems to contain spores of male DNA. Tables in restaurant always sticky. Items not refilled. Toasters not working. Coffee machine out of order. Breakfast during weekends.... 7:00 - 09:30 and kicked out restaurant at 09:31. No warning that breakfast is included in package or not and they charge you for... 30 kiwi dollars for a lousy brakfast when not. Scrambled eggs looked like porridge. Not capable of sending me a correct bill. Once and never again. Stayed 7 days...

Absolute legends and excellent sports; Michelle was the best and helped play along with jokes with fellow workmates. Ashleigh is a star and great fun. Highly recommend the best coffee, drinks and Food; the whole staff was friendly and helpful.

Held my daughters 1st birthday party here outside by the pool deck for lunch and swim last weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better place to host it at. Guest went home satisfied with the rooms, location, space, parking, pool and especially the food. Def a weekend to remember and a good memory to share with my daughter when she grows up. Staff and event coordinator were super helpful and kind. Thanks Atura

My family of four stayed overnight for a little getaway. Check in was easy and staff were super helpful and friendly. We even received show bags for the kids, which were a big hit! They had some fun little toys in them, which was a really nice touch. We had adjoining rooms. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! Really nicely appointed. A few dusty surfaces but nothing really bothersome. The mini bar prices are very reasonable. The pool is gorgeous and clean, and pool towels are provided(which is wonderful, that way you’re not using the bath towels from your room). The ground floor layout is great. A bar where you can sit(and has happy hour!), there’s a kids play area near the pool table which entertained everyone. Such a good communal area, chill vibes and welcoming. We had dinner at the restaurant. Great selection(my son and I are vegetarian and my husband loves steak), there was something for everyone. We got a late check out so we could have a swim before we left. Breaky was ok. Standard buffet. I liked how they had essential things and snacks for sale near the reception too. Very handy. We will definitely be back! Thanks guys.

Not the best hotel we have stayed in for the price we paid. It would have been good if the location was closer to the airport. Although the service was excellent the decor in room I thought was tacky. The room was clean when we arrived. As you lay in bed you are looking at a concrete ceiling with a huge yellow painted dot. What was meant to be a king room, you get 1 chair and a cheap 2 seater sofa. We wanted to indulge and ordered ourselves a Wine and Cheese board with Chocolates which was beautifully presented. The wine was perfect, the cheese board was for birds not humans and there was more seeds and sultanas, cranberries and dried fruit. No salami or meat, 2 cheeses and a jelly thing and cheap rice crackers. The Chocolates platter was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh. No dishwash liquid or cloth is provided for the room. 1 flannel to be shared by 2. The shower felt slimy and slippery so we had to be careful. The food in the restaurant and mini bar is riddiculusly expensive. Great swimming pool and outdoor area. A restaurant, bar and tv area along with the reception. The staff were all excellent.

We did an overnight stay - really enjoyed the retro theme in the nicely renovated rooms which are accurately portrayed on the website. Check in and service was top notch - the pool and restaurant downstairs had a great vibe. Excellent historical pub next door which is almost worth a holiday in itself. There’s also a quirky drive-in and trash and treasure market next door on Sunday mornings which is a real eye-opener - so many things falling off the back of trucks in Western Sydney, cash only! The beds were really soft and sinky - not fully comfortable but this could be a personal preference

Good place to stay but you do need a car. Restraunt, bar and breakfast are good. They also work with the Cricketer's Arms about 100mtrs up road. Great pool if it was summer.

I will start by pointing out the good points. Rooms were nice, decent for the price. The night staff were very nice and the cleaners were very nice. However the lady at reception who was very rude, her name is MICHELLE, her bad service and how she treated us override everything else. I have stayed at so many accommodations and by far this has been the worse experience. I was given wrong information for the total price of our rooms, before I arrived, and than checking in to be told it was over 1000 more than I was given, and I was sent confirmation email as well. Anyways i was happy to try and pay as much as we can to cover what total price, the reception staff ended up giving us $200 less because we were short by $200. I appreciated this but it was the attitude it came with. I knew our stay wasnt going to be so pleasant with this staff. There was no apology from them, they looked at me as if i was the liar. I remained calm and my husband was also apologising for something that wasnt our fault but the receptionist MICHELLE just looked at him with a 'i dont care attitude '. She didnt even apologise back. Than our room arrangements was wrong, than i was told by someone our breakfast was free but than told it wasnt free. I just wanted to know which is the correct information. We were happy to pay for our brekky but once again MICHELLE spoke to me like i was a liar and her staff would never say that. I wasnt seeking compensation, we would happily pay but how MICHELLE responded just made it worse. I worked in customer service for over 10yrs and yes there are times where staff give wrong info or customer heard wrong, you just need to apologise and show empathy and give them correct information. But noooo not this Hotel, she just wanted to justify and make me sound like a liar. So it was how this lady responded to me that really turned our stay into a bad experience. When i went to check out, she wanted me to explained what happened in the beginning again with the mix up of the total price, i thought she was going to apologise for the inconvenience but instead she just wanted to point out that they gave us a discount. And yet again she did not apologise. So yes i would not be returning to this Hotel ever again. I hope MICHELLE takes my feedback and applies it..there are some things you can train someone and the rest comes from character. Humble yourself and truely care for your customers no matter what colour they are or if they look poor or rich. It maybe a assumption on my end, but I hope our skin cour didn't have anything to do with how she treated us. Hospitality is the worse place to work if your racist. Coz your going to see people from all walks of life and from every culture. Get over it. Anyways, if you don't care about customer service than by all means.

Hotel had everything you needed for the area and was basically self sufficient with bar and restaurant, gym etc. Road leading to the hotel was horrendous (council road) never seen so many pot holes, wouldn't bring sports car. Beds comfortable, rooms clean..couch was a bit sunked in. Would stay again if required

Ordered a diner at 8.30pm at 9 still had not received it. 9.15 got my meal this is not usual however this is about honest reviews. No USB charge points in the rooms. Beds are 6 out 10 for comfort. Rooms are well decorated again the mini bar option is outdated and the fridges are chill only. I have moved from staying at a competitor to this one. I really like atmosphere and vibe of the place.

We stayed in G10, a mobility assist room on the ground floor. Why are mobility assist rooms furthest away from the entrance? Would it hurt to provide a courtesy wheelchair? Why is there a 1960 Cadillac parked in the entrance to the hotel blocking the disability access? Why is the restaurant closed on Friday night and all weekend for anything other than breakfast? Most of the staff are either new and untrained or just clueless, and display a sense of apathy and laziness that i have never seen before. I watched 2 young girls attempt to reset the dining area after the breakfast session, the first one slowly and gently placed the napkin and cutlery on the table and the second one slowly and gently wiped the table, around the napkin and cutlery, being careful not to bump the placements. I thought, Just wipe the table first!. The bed does not allow wheelchair access to both sides, and is placed diagonally across from the TV resulting in a difficult television watching experience while resting. The kitchenette is cute but does not have any dishwasher or wiping/drying products. The microwave model is 7 years old and almost unusable due to the close to the floor placement and lack of room lighting to enable reading of the button labels As for media options, the hotel system in use is very outdated and poorly structured which has no options for watching any social media platforms or logging in to any of your visual accounts and does not support casting from your devices. I could go on but I think you get the idea. Checked in Friday, checking out Monday, will never return.

Room was good but bar fridge light needs an off switch, very bright. Road out front is terrible & should be fixed, probably not the hotels responsibility but it has been that way for some time now, they need to pressure council. Food we had there this time was sub par & expensive.

We did a red balloon 1 night staycation and it was such a joy. Great hotel with the softest bed! Sleeping on clouds. Head downstairs for dinner and food was delicious. Dessert platter included on arrival with two shots of tequila! Heaps of movies available on the TV. Perfect lazy night in. Home away from home.
