The Awesome Auburn Gallipoli Mosque Sydney Australia๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Auburn Gallipoli Mosque is a spectacular Turkish styled Mosque with Ottoman inspired architecture. We have visited numerous times & prayed inside. It was always at full capacity on Friday prayers & in the holy month of Ramadan. This time we visited after exactly 1 year (last visit was in Nov 2020) due to Sydneyโ€™s lockdown. I prayed upstairs in the ladies section & I was able to take all these pictures after everyone left. This Mosque reminds us of the beautiful Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Mosque) that we visited & prayed at in Istanbul, Turkey๐Ÿ˜ƒ If you are in the area, you should definately visit & check out this spectacular Mosque. They also have held yearly Open Days in the past for all to visit & have provided informative tours of the Mosque. One of the best mosques in Sydney with remarkable design and all kind of facilities for prayer and other Muslim community services. Nice and beautiful kids play area with lots of entertaining equipment. Separate male and female prayer area with all amenities. Street side parking available. Very clean and well maintained.

A beautiful architectural interior with lovely Islamic cultural designs. The mosque has a separate section for women on the top. There is plenty of space inside the mosque. Covid safe practicing was being followed with QR check-in process and social distancing during prayers.

My go to mosque in Sydney to pray (that said - I do go to others). Clean mosque and facilities. The volunteers here are friendly. They do have a hall which can be hired out for weddings. Funeral services also occur here (not uncommon to see this on a Friday). Mosque is shaped in that Ottoman design (mirrors something you'd find in Turkiye). It's like a piece of Istanbul here in Western Sydney. Near the train station too - so it is easy to visit. Also plenty of parking nearby (though it will fill up quickly during Friday prayer and Eid)

MashaAllah the greatest architecturally designed mosque in Australia. The Turkish community and elders are always welcoming and friendly upon entry. My family and i feel that we go back in time to my heritage, when I'm in this illuminated place of worship. Keep up the great work and high standards. May Allah (swt) reward and protect you all. Wasalaam

It was my first time at this Masjid, I really loved how it look like . The building reminded me of Istanbul masjid but the way they treated me and my kids were unacceptable for a Arabic Muslim lady I prayed Ishaa and was waiting my 10 years old kid to pray at the kids plying area and the security was very aggressive to kick me out side he told do you want to sleep here . I am really upset to be treated in Allah home like that. Moreover itโ€™s Ramadan month people should be welcoming everyone and talk more politely to new visitors not pulling them from there t-shirts because they donโ€™t know about the place rolls and that what happened with my son . I donโ€™t understand Turkish language and I am Sure Turkish people is not like who I met in the masjid.

The first ever the-real-masjid-building that i have ever visited in sydney. The qutbah is held in turkish language in jumah prayer. The building is very beautiful just like the minj version of hagya sofia in turkiye

One of the most beautiful places in the whole area. You're always welcome to come and marvel and ask questions. Don't stare at the tiles on the floor during summer!

One of the most beautiful Masjid / Mosques Iโ€™ve been to in australia. Nicest people that welcome you with smiles everyday and great community initiatives month in month out.

MashAllaah, one of the most prominent mosques across Australia. It's massive and can be sighted from fair distances; doesn't need to be close to it to spot it. The atmosphere inside is wholly opposite to outside world. So calm and peaceful inside to get yourself in spiritual mode while you're there.

This place gives an amazing sense of inner peace. The Turkish people take cleanliness extreamly serious as it is considered to be a part of the faith. While some different cultures may feel it is ok to walk bare foot down to the washroom and walk back up with wet barefoot and step onto the prayer carpet where people put the heads down in prayer I would suggest think twice as this is very frowned upon and extreamly disrespectful to not only the people attending the mosque but also to the faith its self. The mosque provides flip flops to wear to go down to the washroom and paper towels to dry feet and remember to wear socks if you want to pray inside of the mosque. Friday prayers speech is done in Turkish and English. The mosque uses the blueprint of the Turkish Ottomon styled Blue Mosque in Istanbul hence the design. (Pictured below)
