Late at night on our first day in Vietnam, we stumbled upon this hidden gem, determined to check 'Banh Mi in Vietnam' off our bucket list. Mr. Hieu's Banh Mi turned out to be our initial taste of this iconic Vietnamese sandwich, setting an incredibly high standard. The cozy atmosphere and Mr. Hieu's warm hospitality added to the experience. The Banh Mi was incredibly tasty and delightfully crispy. While the coffee was decent, the orange juice leaned towards the syrupy side. They even had a graffiti wall where we left our mark, making it a memorable start to our Vietnamese culinary adventure

One of the best Banh mi I’ve ever had in Vietnam. Delicious with just enough good ingredient. Owners are with 110% service mind. Imagine having right Banh mi with the song from Adele…. perfect morning.

Amazing bahn mi at Mr. Hieu's! The bread is warm and crispy and the ingredients are delicious. An edit: we loved the bahn mi so much we had to get another one!

I had to have 2 banh mis, they were delicious! Crispy bread & very tasty fillings. Definitely amongst best I've had anywhere in Vietnam. On top of that, chilled tunes, pleasant decor & a very friendly owner. Really hope to get back.

Absolutely great bahn mi, perfectly balanced with great flavours but without sacrificing the simplicity a banh mi should have. Mr. Hieu and the staff are so nice. There are handwritten testimonials from all over the world on the walls. I would have to say it’s the best and most authentic tasting bahn mi we’ve had while traveling through Vietnam. We ordered two in a row.

Mr Hieu, your Banh mi sings flavors! The proportions of the filling balances the french baguette, not too overwhelming. The fine herbs and vegetables rounds up the overall flavor and textures. I can’t for my next trip to Hoi an!
