Wow, the fish here is top quality, the servers are amazing, and atmosphere is welcoming and quiet. We ordered the grilled salmon with chips and a gherkin pickle, the server was eager to answer any question’s we had, and brought our food and drinks extremely quickly, the only thing they forgot was the pickle, but the made up by giving it to us for free! The salmon was top notch, and melted in our mouths, the chips were also incredibly fluffy and delicious, and the salad was also balanced well with different fresh ingredients. The establishment was not that busy and we sat outside, (they have outside heaters) it had nice music and it was very clean. Although the servers did not wear masks, they do offer sanitising gel at entry. Overall this place is a wonderful spot to have lunch or dinner! Definitely recommended. The prices are also reasonable and the staff are flexible! Will be coming back very soon!

This place is so much more than a chippie. They have a full menu that includes grilled fish and oysters and salads. But the fish and chips are exceptional. Fish is moist and flakey and batter is thin and crisp. No sogginess here. And I love their onion vinegar. Can also get a nice bottle of wine. Prices are reasonable too.

Had the cod and chips. Really nice chips. Some of the best I've had. Thick and soft in the middle with a good crunchy bite on the outside. Excellent! The fish was also really nicely cooked, beautiful crust and hot and juicy in the inside. The only downside to the wonderfully cooked fish was that it didn't quite taste of anything. No spices, vinger, salt, etc. It's as though they've perfected the cooking but decided to remain noncommittal as to what it should taste like. They provide condiments for self assembly, but I was a bit disappointed by it.

Tried the cod burger at Sutton's and sons in Stokey and it was delicious. Filled with tomato, onions, lettuce, gherkin and a fish sauce. One of the finest fish and chips outlets in London. Prices are reasonable at around £30 for 2 with soft drinks. Also serves alcohol.

Crossed the oceans to try the famous Vegan Fish & Chips with banana blossom here. What can I say? It was worth it, without a doubt: delicious food, prepared and served by the funniest/coolest guys, listening to the best 80s songs - "Feels like heaven" on the speakers while I was leaving the place wrapped it up and pretty much described the whole experience. 😎 Highly recommended.

this is most likely my favourate fish n chips and seafoods place in london, they seem to have won several awards and it is well waranted. they offer probably the cheapest oysters that also managed to be some of the freshest. we try out a different fish each time we visit. It is recomendable to read the menu from the board rather than the menu they give you, as the board is updated daily and has things that are not included in the standard menu. we had chargrilled fish and it was some of the best we have had, especially for this price range. will be coming back to this place regularly

Travelled to London from Birmingham and stopped by to have food before my return and I stumbled upon this absolute gem!!!! Fantastic fish and chips. Seriously good, thick chunky cod. Perfect batter. Amazing salt and vinegar. Chips from another planet, soft full of flavour and melt in mouth. Each and every chip was soft and fluffy. This is real fish and chips!!!!! You also get to have a beer whilst you wait ;) Top lad served me too, A1 service. Very welcoming. Hands down best fish and chips i’ve had in my life…no lie!!!!!

Fantastic vegan battered sausage, calamari, and shrimp cocktail!! Definitely the place to go for any vegan missing traditional fish & chips. They have a good vegan menu and an extensive regular menu with regular seafood.

This restaurant is a must every time we are in Stoke Newington. Ordered haddock and chips and a side of mushy peas. Delicious. The staff are very nice.

I love my fish and chips and as I was staying in the area I decided to try this place. They have seating whether you are on your own or as a group/family but I opted to have a takeaway. I had a large cod and regular chips, both were amazing and freshly cooked. I will be back again with friends, but probably to sit in as the list of sides and fish/seafood on the menu is amazing.

Best fish and chips in London! Great service. Ryan was super friendly & efficient on our last visit. Not just fish & chips but all the best comfort food. Had pie and mash this time. We keep coming back here as there’s so much choice. Also lots of amazing vegan options.

This is the place (excuse the pun) for the best fish and chips in London. They have a variety of different fish to suit the discerning palate. Most fish is cooked to order with the traditional batter but not greasy, flaky tasty fish, ample portion of chips and a good choice of wine, beer or soft drinks. They also cater for vegans with a suitable menu. Whenever I am in London I always make a point of visiting this establishment.

My mum and auntie had their first ever fish and chips here and absolutely loved it. Fantastic vegan options. Super friendly and attentive staff, especially the waiter with the long hair in a bun - what a gem. We’ll be back soon!

The food is generally pretty spot on. I do however find the request for a tip after every sitting somewhat frustrating. On occasion I just order at the counter and sit down. Don't get me wrong the food is good but I don't understand why I should be asked to tip when I'm literally getting fast food. I'd prefer if the prices were increased so I didn't need to be asked about a tip every time. I get it, cost of living etc etc but perhaps staff wages should be increased so they don't need to ask for a tip?

Third year we’ve been at this amazing place prior to riding the 115 mile Dunwich Dynamo through the night bike ride to Dunwich. The best fish and chips we’ve ever had with the most amazing service from those that work there and look after us so well. Thank you all and see you again in 2023 x

A great place! You can have the best fish and chips (my mate) or a delicious tuna steak with sweet potato chips. The service is friendly and very efficient too.

I had the grilled mackerel. I have to confess, it was so tasty that I devoured the fish skeleton. Chips were great too. I do wish the salad could have a bit of dressing though as it seemed a bit flat and flavourless against such awesome flavoured fish and perfectly fried chips. Biggest let down, sadly is that there was a stale urinal smell permeating through the restaurant from the toilet.

Best ceviche in London. I just enjoyed the experience and the new menu. Great variety of seafood and vegan food. Super recommended

I went here for the oysters and ended up ordering a couple of other items. I wasn’t disappointed. Everything I ordered was cooked so well. The oysters were so fresh and presented well. Had a nice Prosecco to go with them. The white bait was nice and crispy.(great finger food with beer) The batter on the calamari was so light and crunchy without being oily. The mussels were so juicy and succulent. And the grilled sea bass was so perfectly grilled and seasoned just the right amount so that you can taste and appreciate the full flavour of the delicate fish. I can’t wait to go( edit - I will ) go there again to try the lobster and scallops and maybe the other sides.

Most amazing fish and chips I had in years. We had crab toast for starter and it was really tasty and made with fresh crab meat. Then, we shared vegan ‘fish’ and chips. It was good and tasted like artichoke. The regular cod fish and chips was absolutely delicious, fresh and the batter was perfect and light. And best of all, everything is good value and the staff is super friendly.

If you are after tradition fish and chips establishment, this venue never fails to impress, portions are good and freshly prepared to order, the food is reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming

Definitely not the best today. I ordered today and sadly the cod had absolutely NO flavour at all and the chip were hard :( Normally the savaloy is nice but the skin was tough and meat tasted not great (I think it was the last sausage at that time) the mushy pees given to me free THANKFULLY as they had a VERY distinctive smell and not in a good way! £17+ for absolutely nothing tbh had to throw so much away!

No words, a delight. Best, freshest (and cheapest) oysters in London. Not to mention how nice is the fish itself, had the grilled mackerel and it was so well done! Definite place to come for anyone looking for great fish and chips, or wanting to introduce someone to it. Vegan friendly as well!

Myself and my partner came in yesterday and it was brilliant! Delicious as always, we always get a craving for this! We were served by a lovely waitress Alyssia? I believe! always so happy to see her there and she makes our evening! She’s always so lovely, friendly and extremely competent! An asset to this business. Makes the delicious meal even more delicious. Thank you! She deserves a raise!
