Great views. We had a pushchair amd plenty of places to leave. Park at the end of the walk. Stunning views on the walk. Great little caves to climb in. Quite a few steps down if you struggle. But benches at each section

One of the most beautiful cave systems we saw throughout the whole trip. The main feature here is that you are able to actually walk down the cliffs, through some caves and get magnificent views. You can access this gem over a boardwalk which also offers nice views. Free parking close by is possible and I highly recommend to visit this place.

This is a beautiful place really unusual and interesting rock formations. You see quite a lot of fishing boats and small leisure craft. Quite a walk down the steps but more than worth it.

Approx 20 million year old Karst limestone cliffs versus the Atlantic Ocean equals a great little walk riddled with caves and windows with the ocean roiling in the background. Don't just stick to the boardwalk, wander down the paths and explore the fossil filled rocks, sit and enjoy the views and hope to see Perigrine Falcons, Alpine Swift and Yellow Legged Gulls. 😀💦😀

This gem is a must-visit! Share the love for Algarve beaches by bringing new faces. It's a stunning spot that captivated me not long ago. Watching others fall for its charm as I did is an experience worth cherishing.

We came here and witnessed a gorgeous sunset. Stunning views of the beach and some easy access to hidden caves make this place a must visit when in southern Portugal. Cannot recommend this place more. We came in December, so there wasn’t a crowd and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend this spot, especially if you want to see a gorgeous sunset.

Fantastic views from the various points in the cliffs you can walk onto. Generally, it is quite safe but there are parts which seem a little risky.

One of the most beautiful rock formations I've been to in Portugal. Perfect for talking pictures and doing photoshoots. Always a new surprise around the next corner.

Fascinating rock formations and natural pools in the calcareous cliffs. Really worth exploring this peculiar natural landscape. The place can be relatively crowded in high season, when you’ll struggle to take pictures without other visitors.

Amazing, a must go , caves that look like a window for you to sit and look out of , many people come to see it but no queue people take picture and then go so not an issue. Right next to it theres restuarant and then other caves and places where people swim in and jump of rocks. Beautiful

Wonderful coastal walk. The main boardwalk is accessible for wheelchairs and you can see some fantastic rock formations from here. There are sections that are down stairs too, some carved out from the rock, and a lot have had some form of bannister put in to help you up/down.

This place is an absolute gem that will take your breath away! From the moment I set foot here, I was captivated by its natural beauty. The rugged cliffs, dramatic rock formations, and crystal-clear turquoise waters create a mesmerizing landscape that is straight out of a postcard. Exploring the breathtaking caves and grottos was an unforgettable experience. I was in awe of the intricate formations carved by centuries of natural forces. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks inside the formation creates a deep hum that resonates within the rocks itself. Whether you're a nature lover, an adventure seeker, or simply looking for a place to unwind and reconnect with yourself, this place has it.

Went here so kids could jump off the cliffs, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Parking is easy to find, nice walkways and incredible views.

I loved this place. You have to have boat tour to reach caves at the see and to have a view from see to beaches. Very unique and no forgettable experiences. Highly recommend to go when you come in Portugal.

Visited at sunset, easy access from the boardwalk down some stairs. Nice cave system of sorts, can find a quiet spot to watch the sunset and see the incredible light!

Stopped here along our road trip along the coast. This is a really beautiful place with interesting rock formations along the water. A short walk down the steps where you an explore both sides. On your right side there is a cave with breathtaking views.

Always a great location to visit. In Algar Seco you will also find, Boneca, man made cave with two benches and great view to the ocean. I recommend going in winter when the sun sets right in front of it and the cave gets illuminated all in red orange tones.

The lookout point was breathtaking. There was a small line up to get into the cave but other than that it was pretty empty.

Just wow! Truely one of nature's most beautiful places. Def worth a visit but there is lots of climbing included and beware - some parts may be very steep and require good physical health :)

An exciting hour to stroll through the broad walk while appreciating the scenery, taking pics, climbing up and down the stairs, reading the signpost, sitting on the bench, and well, simply enjoying the moment. It was in the afternoon of early February. Not so many people around. The weather was lovely, though the sunlight was kinda too bright.

Lovely place, you will take great pictures here, especially during the sunset :) There were few people here on Sunday in November, however, it was not crowded. Must see in the Algarve!

Truly stunning experience in such a lovely climate, the stunning sites and beaches are such a surprise to experience at sea, as most can't been seen from the hill liffey..

  • 5/5 Eva B. 1 year ago on Google
Great viewpoints w wheelchair accessible path and many places to also climb downwards between the rocks on little walkways. Spectacular! There was enough parking when we were there.

I am still mentally here !!!! Mesmerizing, amazing, breathtaking..... Can't express the feeling. It's just a wow experience. Must visit place in Portugal. We were in the place a bit early which was the reason for no crowd. We sat here for a long time enjoying the sea view. There are a couple of other places near this one. Don't miss this place if you are in Portugal.

Brilliant day out make sure you hire a boat so you can see the sand stone cliffs and caves. Boat prices vary but well worth it.

We got here at sunrise so had the place to ourselves. There is parking just outside and it's just across the road. Beautiful scenery and lots to explore and see within the Cave system. There is also a boardwalk which links the first set of caves to the second set. Highley recommend coming first thing and missing the crowds. Wear good shoes as some parts of the rocks are slippy.

Spectacular limestone formations .....must visit place in Algarve region!

  • 5/5 Fiona S. 2 years ago on Google
Limestone cliffs that are a feature of this area. Creating interesting shapes and features. Great photo opportunities of the cliffs and the coast view You can walk/climb on the cliffs. The Carvoeiro boardwalk allows better access to the limestone cliffs that have been shaped by the weather. There is no shade. There is many places to stop and sit

Algar Seco Parque is ideally located for a great number of things to do. Don´t skip a visit to the spectacular natural rock formations, on the doorstep of Algar Seco Parque, also the perfect starting point for an amazing cliff walk. The lively centre of Carvoeiro is a short walk away but even in the direct surroundings of the resort, you will find a vast choice of restaurants. The famous caves at Benagil beach and the award-winning Praia da Marinha beach are just a few minutes drive away.

What a spectacular place this is! Take your time and feel the ocean! If you have time look around for many hidden tracks and great views on the ocean.

  • 5/5 Thiago M. 2 years ago on Google
One of the best spots around the seven valleys trail.. you will find some caves where you can go inside, and depends on the ocean condition you will have a scenario for amazing and epic photos... is recommended not to go alone since it can be dangerous, but usually there are always someone around. There are some areas which are hidden on the back of the first cave, so if get to the first cave on left side path, if the water are not to strong, keep going straight and go up to the left side. The view is awesome.
