So I felt the need to write this review based on other reviews I'd seen before going to this hotel. This is not a place to take the family for lovely getaway. The place is very tired and weathered (sun loungers old, tiles missing from pool, air con not working). However for a short stay for a large group of friends it's absolutely fine. We went as a group of 9 and shared 4 superior rooms with Seaview which were perfect. The beds were clean and comfortable enough for a short stay and the room is big enough to sleep 4 if required. When you then factor in the cost it's actually a pretty good deal. As I say though if you're looking for a nice week away as family I'd recommend you pay a bit more and go somewhere else.

If I could leave no stars I would. The worst experience ever. The rooms were like a sauna. Super-hot and not fit for purpose. We were lied that an engineer would sort out the AC but this hotel does not have AC in any of the rooms. The towels are stained and off colour. There were dead cockroaches in the rooms and balcony. The Wifi was useless. The TV never worked. The fans were broken. The reception staff are useless and very unhelpful. Hotel from hell. I would never recommend this dreadful apartment hotel to anyone. Dreadful horrendous hotel.

Simply the worst place I've ever stayed in my life! It was supposed to stay at this place for one week but two days after arrive there I was leaving! The staff members don't care about the costumers! We took nearly 1 hour to check in, the A/C doesn't work and in Albufeira during Summertime the average temperature is over 30 degrees celsius, so super warm inside of the rooms, We found 2 fans in the room but just 1 working, we asked to staff members if at least they could provide another fan working correctly as the A/C was not working but they simply didn't care about it! The shower in the pool don't work too! The lifts just 1 was working! The place is dirty and with poor maintenance! The furnitures inside are older than my grandma! And to complete the experience there are cockroaches! Ah you can be unlucky to find this place full of English hooligans making noise during night!

This hotel was palmed off on us as a alternative and now we know why.Broken steps, dirty seats at pool area. Piles of rubbish bags just beside the lift up to apartment and that was downstairs. Upstairs was pretty much the same. As soon as we walked into room, we we're straight on phone looking somewhere else to stay for our holiday. Curtains were mouldy with paint stains, the fan was rusty or dirty, floors were stained with dirt. for a four star hotel.We were checked in and out within the hour. The list is endless for a four star hotel.

We stayed 5 nights. Horrible service, the employees threat you as you are their friends and even use curse words. They do not really care about your well-being and not even concerned about the service you paid for. We had breakfast included and it’s not good, has stuff from the day before such as bread and I had to ask to toast it. Regarding pool and chairs it’s very big and beautiful but they never clean even when it rains they don’t dry the chairs afterwards, don’t clean the garbage and there is no towels for the pool given, also outside stairs and pull are full of dirt/plants from the garden. Also the bar has always the music loud as DJ so you can’t really rest and feel the ambience. Air conditioner in the rooms is not working. Wifi was also not available in our room. Such a headache for something that should have been the time to relax and feel good in 4start hotel during vacation

Staff very helpful rooms a bit dated could do with an upgrade but all right for a holiday but be aware you will be a long way from roundabout at oura pria 20/25 minutes walk.going other way to olhos de ague nearest restaurant same distance

The hotel has changed needs updating but the bars are run by Antonio and they are brilliant they make the hotel Lively and fun round the pool 5 stars for the bar

When my children land in England safe I shall reveal the real truths of this place due to mine and children lives been put at risk our safty has also been threatened. My children are now frightened they will end up like maddie due to over hearing threats towards them and myself made by the hotel manager stating bad things will happen if we go public for now I will say avoid this place. For your own safty and children safety

Decent spot but the service was awful and they were very grumpy, there was 18 of us there willing to spend money and they were acting like they were doin us a favour. Very rude and slow service.

Loved the experience. There are two sides of the hotel and don't let that stop you to decide on coming here. Staff were amazing and helpful. We didn't have any issues at all here. Before going on holiday some of the reviews really scared us, but being there I can say now that some people really like to exaggerate or they are really snobs. The rooms are not great.... the staff ( especially pool bar staff ) where lovely Pool very cold, but big. Very dated

Was dreading this due to the bad reviews posted on TripAdvisor. Happy to say nowhere near as poor as some of them. Very dated could do with painting and general upgrading but spotlessly clean basic and did the job.

This is an excellent Hotel, The Staff are amazing and so helpful, The prices are very good here,We will return.

Do not come to this place. Bad service, AC wasn’t working. Also someone opened my backpack at a room behind the reception and stole my expensive shoes. I really believe the manager and some receptionist have some to do with it from the way they dealt with the situation. But coul’ve been someone else too.

My mother and I stayed a week at this hotel for a leisure holiday in June of 2019. Once we arrived at the hotel we were rudely greeted by the receptionist who was an older woman, she clearly didn’t care or provided much help. Once we entered our apartment we noticed a sewage smell but didn’t think much of it. We noticed gurgling noises coming from the bathroom, found it strange but again didn’t take much notice. My mother was cleaning the bath/shower before going to take a shower but heard a gurgling noise and suddenly brown stuff came flushing out of the drain hole. To put it simply sewage came up our drain into the bath/shower, the smell was horrendous and we couldn’t shower for our remaining days. We brought it to the attention of staff but nothing was done. I would provide pictures but it’s too gruesome to show. We also ran into the issue of all of our valuables getting locked in the safe but the manager came up and helped us with that issue. There was some lovely staff here during, only for that one receptionist. The hotel is also quite far from the strip. We were not happy with our stay, these issues did affect our holiday. I would not recommend staying here at all. Please avoid at all costs!!
