Sorry, but I have NO IDEA what this places’ secret ingredient is- EVERYTHING was 100% deliciously amazing. Every single ingredient was top notch. From the strawberries in the chia pudding to the bacon/rice in the bowl I got. I asked for my egg over medium and it was cooked to complete perfection. The spinach was abundant and not wilted at all. The staff was so sweet and nice, the atmosphere was cute and fun. I could go on and on, I will definitely be back! UPDATE: Went back a couple days ago and it was a completely different staff, however they were just as nice, sweet, and welcoming. The food was just as good (we loved it so much we ordered the same thing) and we both agreed that this place is probably one of the best breakfasts we have ever had eating out. SECOND UPDATE: my boyfriend and I come here regularly, love it every time, the people are always so nice, recommend it to everyone. Love Love love this place. I will be heartbroken when we move.

Great place with great people always trying to do the best for you! People go there and spends great time talking with friends. The food is delicious and healthy! Don’t forget to ask for the tea of course because they have a wide variety, I asked for help and they brought me something very cool! If you are vegan they have an option for you. I’m often in the US and here I had a different option for breakfast instead to have the traditional American breakfast and black coffee and it was perfect for us!! French toast was very tasty, eat it!

Definitely my new favorite restaurant. Fresh, delicious and affordable food with so many choices on top of the most delicious tea I've ever had. Definitely something for everyone. @inacincinnis

It was very good food. This was my first time there. My daughter wanted to go there because they offer vegan food. Which was good. I had breakfast tacos. Good, but next time, I'll try something else. The teas were good. It's a bit sweet for me. I've cut back on sugar, so that's just me. I'll be back again. The employees are very nice.

The vegan food here was pretty good although it is not a total vegan restaurant. The jackfruit burrito was better than I expected. The vegan Philly Cheese Steak was also pretty good although the jackfruit was a little on the salty side but not too bad. The service was pleasant and helpful. They were busy but I didn't feel rushed. The atmosphere is appropriately themed. Music was loud enough that it encouraged patrons to talk louder and create a sense of an engaging happy atmosphere. Personally, I prefer a quieter atmosphere. The seating is limited so if you visit at a busy time you might have to wait. The serving staff was helpful and very pleasant which is a key reason for me to consider returning. Also I forgot my hat 🤠 and one ran down the Blvd to get it to me. Much appreciated 👍 So if I am in Lancaster again I'll be coming by to try some more delicious vegan food 😋

The music is a vibe … very soothing. The atmosphere is energetic, lates back but friendly. Destiny greeted us at the door, sat us down, was sooo helpful in our choices of food. I am the Proud owner of New York Styles barber shop and hope to have my business at this level one day!! Highly recommended!!!

My salad was pretty good except the feta cheese was a bit much. The wrap was kinda of weird and person eating it said chicken was dry but when she put dressing on it, it was better and good. It just sucked that there was no parking in front and I had to walk around building. Not that I can't walk but I have a weak hand from surgery and had to carry 2 drinks and food. Also tea spills everywhere. It'd be great if they used back door for customers picking up. Service was good.

I've been coming to the modern tea room for 7 years, and they have consistently been amazing which is a hard thing to do. The drinks and food both are top notch with flavors. Service does tend to be slower, but it is worth the wait. I promise you'll loves the food, drinks and people who run it.

My new favorite vegan spot. (Non-vegan options available as well) Delicious drinks. It is a bit small but I had no problem maneuvering the stroller and being out of the way. My daughter is a picky eater and she enjoyed her breakfast. I would double check sodium intake if you have high blood pressure. Service was amazing. They also sell art. Overall great atmosphere.

My husband and I went here for the first time today. The service was great, staff nice, atmosphere pleasant and prices fair. I ordered the vegan cheesesteak and it was delightful, husband ordered turkey and cheese and he was not thrilled with the taste. He actually split my cheesesteak with me because he said his sandwich wasn’t tasty. We both enjoyed our teas. I will definitely return, I appreciate the kindness of the staff and the service. It would be nice to have fries (sweet potato or otherwise), or other sides to choose from other than ruffles chips. That option should be upgraded because no one going to this restaurant to experience the food and ambiance wants ruffles potato chips. I definitely recommend to try this place out. The next door restaurant is combined and although we didn’t eat there the lady up front was so warm and inviting we will definitely be back. Yes I would recommend. If they can get a liquor license to add to the teas this would enhance the experience even more.

You will absolutely love the modern tea room!!! Very healthy and interesting food. Everything tastes amazing and you will not feel guilty about any of your choices!!! I take family and friends here all the time. One of our only safe havens for quality and healthy food!!! Trying their many varieties of unique teas!!! You will love them!!!

They have good drinks. The avocado toast was good. they were out turkey bacon and sausage.

The buffalo chicken ranch melt is so delicious and the staff are very friendly. The horchata tea was also bomb! I do think it’s better for small parties (max 4) because it’s quite on the smaller side

I love this place so much, the food & drinks are fantastic. They recently redecorated too & I love how it looks. This spot is my go to on my days off my go toos are the vegan biscuits & gravy, walnut burrito, baby matcha & vanilla moon & dirty chai latte.

Food was great.... Tea was great... Coffee great .. Service. Not so great.

I'm originally from Las Vegas, but I have family in Lancaster, so I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and the quality of the food and tea has never changed. It is ALWAYS delicious. I also love how the staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome. The iced gummy bear tends to be my go-to. It is refreshing and flavorful. You can never go wrong with any of their food items. It is almost wrong if I visit family in Lancaster and don't stop by The Modern Tea Room. This is always a must-stop for me. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Favorite tea spot in the AV, especially for hot tea. Great food too, with breakfast and lunch choices and plenty of vegetarian and meat-based options. Acai bowl and egg salad sandwich both stand out as favorites. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Just don't come in a hurry. Tea takes time. Sit back, relax, and let this place give your soul a little detox.

Reasonable prices and great food.Cracker bites and avocado toast were delicious with parmesan.Choclate Chai milk tea hot is great, along with the Tropical twister. Great testing food and service.

Odd to serve tea without a teaspoon or sugar. Also odd to have a calendar in the bathroom set to next month. ? Otherwise, if not in a hurry, the slow service will eventually bring good food. My husband ate the egg and cheese melt, so good 👍. My egg tacos were very spicy! The chai chocolate tea rocked, and I got a cute pig mug with a tiny teapot 🫖. Cute. Customer service aside, it's just Meh.

It's small, crowded, and noisy. If you are looking for a light, casual vibe with awesome food brunch place. THIS IS NOT THE ONE. Only tea is good. Both modern Margarita and watermelon infused are delicious. But food is just not worth the wait. Low quality ham and salmon are used in our dishes. Even the cheese, veggie, Hawaii toast can't hide the bad taste from the meat. Salad is a bunch of spinach sprinkles with feta cheese and a really sour dressing that cause the bread soaked. I feel like a goat or cow when eating it... The servers are nice but probably need to prioritize what things they should do first. We wait for over 30 mins for the table and painfully watching how inefficient the servers was. For example, a long line waiting but three tables are empty for at least 5 mins because the servers are busy chatting with other tables and having a hard time putting down napkins, utensils and the menu for the new table. Super disappointed... I thought we find a gem in this area but sadly not.

The Modern Tea Room is an absolute must try place! The teas are phenomenal! I typically grab two at a time. The staff is attentive and friendly, Lindsey always knows how to make my tea choices perfect. When it comes to food, you can't go wrong with any choice as everything is delicious. But, I always grab two orders of Cracker Bites and I enjoy their Chicken Lettuce Wraps as a starter. My favorite sandwich there is the Mexicana due to the perfect spice and flavor you get in every bite. Although my wife just introduced me to the Modern Egg Salad Sandwich, wow that's an amazing twist on such a classic. I'm not a Vegan but, the Jackfruit Burrito is so delicious! This place takes a few visits before you can try out the entire menu but each visit gets better then the last. They understand clean good healthy food and they understand teas to a science!
