The staff was unhelpful and inattentive. When I finally placed my order, they got it wrong multiple times and seemed annoyed when I asked for the correct items. To make matters worse, the coffee was lukewarm and tasted stale. I could tell that the staff was disorganized and lacked any sort of customer service training. I definitely won't be returning to this cafe and would caution anyone else against wasting their time and money here.

I placed my order on their website and it was ready for pickup in 30 minutes. Nice selection of seeds and accessories. The smell of coffee when I entered the store was pleasant. Superb customer service. I'm really looking forward to trying my latte tomorrow morning

I love the concept of the company. Here are their strengths - The website: easy to use and I made my first purchase last week, everything was simple from shopping to picking up in store. - Quality of selected products: meets my standards which are rarely encountered in my coffee purchases before. - Customer service and hygiene: the pandemic brings its share of hassles, but the warm welcome and the impeccable cleanliness of the store make us forget this temporary situation. I look forward to taking advantage of their on-site advice when it is possible to do so! I made my first purchase last week and it's certainly the start of a great series. I discovered this place a few months ago. Not only is there an excellent choice of coffees that meets the needs of the most passionate among us, but their service is impeccable! They respond extremely quickly to any question or request and ship orders the same day. I live outside of Quebec City and my packages have always landed on my doorstep the next day. Pro: have a variety of coffee equipment to purchase. Con: coffee bags have no mention of roasting level (light, medium, dark). I was told that the bag I purchased was medium-dark, but it was more like light-medium. Big disappointment. So: good for equipment, not so good for coffee if you like me enjoy dark roasts.

Really excellent coffee. Wide range of coffee bean choices, from the most classic to the most funky. The owners are clearly passionate and this results in remarkable service. I'll make sure to come back when I'm in Quebec!

I was very happy to discover La Société des Cafés a few months ago when searching for a Canadian retailer selling Intelligentsia Coffee's Black Cat Analog Espresso (which is a highly rated expresso blend). I found it at a good price and it was delivered within 2 days. Nice to be able to support a "local" business. La Société des Cafés has a really nice selection of coffee beans which I need to spend time discovering; their web site is nicely laid out. Pleasant communication with the staff with an offer for any assistance. I enlisted their help in recommending some other nice expresso beans and Jonathan provided two recommendations.
