Really cool atmosphere from the medieval age. This is one of a kind Bar/restaurant.. You have to try, a lot of cool drinks and great entertainment. Went back for food it was pretty good. The vibe that night was amazing.. I would definitely go there again

The quality of the food is of legendary quality! Everything will make you think you just entered a World of Warcraft tavern: The decor, ambiance, and even how the personel speaks. The food and beverages are very high quality and authentic to the medieval theme and blends with older french cuisine/culture. This is one of those uniqur places that are worth visiting!

One of the best meals we had in Quebec City! Sumptuous and delicious! Definitely a hidden gem. I did not expect this level of quality food from a themed restaurant! The chicken confit was nicely crispy on the outside and fall off the bone soft on the inside. The steak was so tender and juicy. The seafood pie was basically a flavourful seafood chowder with pie crust on the side. The steamed barley that came with the set was yummy and even though it’s the first time my BF had barley, he loved it! The rose and rum drink I ordered was also both warming and delicious~ Would definitely go back! And the price was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. We got enough food for 3 people even though it was a two person set. If you do go, do order the alchemist set!

Fun medieval themed pub with an excellent selection of “period” food. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. There are some massive plates for sharing and would please any meat lover! Vegetarian dishes are also on the menu, so everyone should be happy.

My new wife & I made the great decision to come here for dinner the final night of our honeymoon to Quebec Coty. Amazing food, and normally, as they say in medieval times, you must sacrifice your first born for delicious food. But here it is a very reasonable price with their meals for 2 which includes dessert. We also had a very impressive musician perform during dinner on the musical saw where he played Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, and Indiana Jones. To top it off, if you love games, they told me you get a discount at the game shop next door with showing your receipt. It was unfortunately closed for me on a Sunday but great luck for anyone else when it's open! Then if you want to release the Kraken you can get it on ice for just $6! Highly recommend!

Nice place with an appropriate atmosphere. Very good food, my family all had different entrees and all of them were great, including the side dishes. Came here on the last day of my trip and would love to return. Cant forget to mention the enthusiastic and quality service!

Went here for dinner early July, must say it was the best dinning experience I had! They were low staffed that night, but the servers still made us feel welcomed and still put on a wonderful display courtesy and professionalism (props to Roland, our man!). We ordered the Helios plate for 2, but it could have easily fed 3! Quality of food is incredible for the price we paid! The bison tartar was our favorite. Overall amazing experience (and we didnt even need to experience the full thing with the musicians and the medieval ambience - we were out on the terasse)!!

My boyfriend was excited to take me here bc his last visit was impeccable - I was not impressed and he was let down. The experience we had vs. everyone else around us was vastly different and I think that's bc we were an English/Russian speaking group. We were sat in a small cramped corner of the restaurant. My boyfriend was excited for this steak he had last time but seems like it was overcooked and they changed the recipe so he was let down. I had sausages that were okay.

Came here because I heard it's a great place if you like meat. Ordered the Festin Midi, which I think is the glutton plate. It came with three variety of meats, as well as some sauerkraut and potato wedges. The BBQ was nice, as well as dipping the chicken, potatoes, and sausage in the stew gravy. Also, this came with a soup appetizer of the day, which was cauliflower & edamame, which was surprisingly nice. The waiter was very nice and friendly, as well as knowlable. And the environment is a bit of a good spectacle. Overall, really enjoyed this place. Would definitely return for the meats.

It was the Halloween day, they have a special decoration, the waiters was disguised Halloween 😁 and they were nice and helpful .. we liked the place and the food, I recommend

This place is a master class in how to do a themed restaurant. The decor is spot on, the staff are very enthusiastic (costumes and all), and the food is very hearty. You will walk away with leftovers, warm feelings, and a minstrel strumming your heartstrings. Also a great hangout for tabletop gamers and LARPers alike!

Incredible place! The medieval decorations are gorgeous and the menu is super interesting with lots of medieval dishes. This place truely is a time machine that sends you back in time. Highly recommend!! It is a MUST visit in Quebec ciy.

My wife and I saw this place on a number of lists of must visits in Quebec and were very excited to try it out. We were not disappointed at all. This place is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is incredibly fun and inviting. The food was very good and the drinks were delicious. Going here made for a lovely final night on our trip!

It was our second time here. The experience is unbelievable. It’s a mood booster. You have to be like a real gladiator and act like them, stomp your foot, shout, and be wild 😂. You have to experience here at least once, it really worth it. The food is really great, we were 4 and we get a dish for 3, but we could even get just the dish for 2 and still full.

The atmosphere was awesome. The staff were entertaining and friendly and I would definitely visit again.

I’ve been there twice now and it was amazing both times. They have everything that you could want out of a restaurant - great atmosphere, excellent food, decent portions, and servers who seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. There was even a minstrel playing the pipes while we were waiting for our food. It’s well worth the money and I hope to go back there again soon.

Very good establishment, I had a lot of fun the staff is great. Service would be 5 stars if it would've been slightly faster but overall a great place to spent time and eat good food.

We happened upon this place and thought our boys would love it (they play D&D and Magic the Gathering). It was very neat and they would love it return. Very friendly staff and good food.

The place has good medieval decorations. The service was nice and the food really tasty. We order the honey Brie Cheese with almonds, was sweet and creamy. The ribs were so soft, you can pull the bones with no effort. The IPA beer was great, to red dragon cocktail too sweet.

It worth the visit! My 5 years old had fun! Make sure you are hungry because the plates are big proportions! The service was great as well. The have to private parking by the side.. if no you can park on the street. They had a booster for my 1 year old.

One the best medieval theme restaurant. customer service was one of the best. Fasol was our server. au gratin tasted heavenly. Pizza was just so good. The price is so reasonable. They servce food until 11pm. Must try.

All the servers are so friendly and welcoming. They’re always willing to help customers. Food is amazing either! A lot of quantity and high quality. I also love its ambience. It’s really antique and cozy! I’ll definitely visit this restaurant again if I go to Quebec again!! Thank u for the all staffs that made me such a great memory :)

The food was incredible, the atmosphere amazing. The restaurant is very clean, and the waiters in characters add a lot to the experience. My one concern was that we asked our waiter to speak English since not everyone in our party was French speaking, which he said he had no problem with. However, he still proceeded to speak almost only in french whenever he came by the table.

La Chope Gobeline is a cosplayers (or anyone who even vaguely enjoys the medieval/fantasy aesthetic) dream. The atmosphere is an entire experience in and of itself, and you can see the care and attention that has been put into every detail. We got the Royal platter with a few drinks and it was amazing. If you like meat, this is your place. The staff is all super nice and gets into the spirit of the restaurant as well. The food was slow in coming but that's because it is so fresh!! Overall a fun, quirky, family friendly restaurant that is worth every penny.
