I did not buy tickets for anything, this gate is open to the public. There was no wait time to enter.

Beautiful at night. Amazing view! There was no one when I went (to be fair it was dark and raining). I thought I’d be able to walk along the gate & the walls but you can’t go the other way so you have to come back down the same direction you went up. You can see the Château Frontenac hotel from here (see picture). There are lights so it’s not that bad even at night. Very quiet. 경치 예뻐요~ 성벽이 생각보다 큼. 조용함.

Historical stone gate that surrounds the old Quebec city streets. The wall is 15 feet wide where cars, horse carriages, bicycles and pedestrians can ride/walk under. A path is also accessible by foot to go on top of the stone gate and pass over the cars. Very cool and fun. During summer time there are often musicians that play fir the passersby. Give them a little token of your appreciation 😉 Not a long visit, you will take 5-10 minutes to visit.

Quebec has many gates around the citadel and this one is our favorite.

The gate just keeps the atmosphere of the old mighty fortress. It made me feel as if I'm traveling in a historic European city. After this gate and going up the hill, you can visit the citadel.

Nice gate, but I don't think it's possible to walk on the wall around it due to construction.

I had a wonderful experience here because this gate is very historical, i loved passing through it and also i liked reading information panels about this gate and the history of this city. it's also well situated near the Esplanade park, the highway 175 near of the parliament and the downtown area.

Really beautiful and well preserved old gate of the city. Sadly, it was closed to the public to access walking on the wall because of a festival. Hope to do this on my next visit.

Beautiful historic buildings with quaint shopping and restaurants. I would advise you to wear good walking shoes and be prepared to fight for parking. But it is totally worth it!

It's the entrance to the old Quebec. Rather unnoticeable if you don't know about it already. Just after the parliament building. There are a couple of attractions around here and many statues of famous world personalities just before and after the door, as well as a war monument (Croix du sacrifice).
