I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. I've stayed at a few other hotels in Quebec City but this one by far has been my favourite. It's a little pricier but you can find good deals. Our room was incredible - we had an amazing view of the city and huge windows. We ate at the restaurant on the main floor for supper and had a few cocktails and they were all so delicious. The staff was also super kind and helpful!

My partner and I stayed here for four nights, and I cannot overstate how pleased we were with this hotel. Every single staff member we spoke to was friendly and courteous, and went out of their way to make our stay something special. Our French isn't great, but that was never an issue as every staff member we spoke to was fluent in English. And the ROOM. We got a junior suite so we would have access to kitchen facilities (Quebec City isn't cheap, so it was convenient to have a mini fridge, counter and sink so we could make sandwiches for lunches!), and it was a fabulous space. We were also able to request a kettle from the front desk, as we're big tea drinkers. The room was clean, spacious, beautifully laid out. We also loved access to the heated rooftop pool -- such a cool experience being able to comfortably go swimming outdoors when it's below zero! We had planned to have breakfast in the city, but the hotel proved comparable cost-wise to eating in the city, plus the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We opted for the a la carte menu each day instead of the buffet, which was less expensive (buffet was $36/adult, whereas we paid $20-$28 for our meals) and still proved the perfect amount of food for us. We also stopped in the hotel bar for a little drinks and dessert, and their dessert creations are amazing! I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat to anyone visiting Quebec City!

This is my favorite hotel when I go to Quebec City. The rooms are top class and spacious and the service is great. But for me the best thing is the location, location, location. It’s literally across the street from the start of the old city so there is no long walk needed to get there. And since it’s not in the old city itself, it’s easy to drive to and parking isn’t that expensive. So you get the best of both worlds. Highly recommend.

Very positive experience. Location is perfect with a very short walk to all areas of downtown Quebec and the attractions of old town. Check in was a breeze; thank you Pablo. The room was outstanding, and the views incredible. The concierge lounge was amazing with very helpful staff. Fast elevators. Minor challenge with digital key that never had my correct room. All in all a great stay.

The hotel had an excellent location. The room with parliament views was nice and comfortable. The hotel was clean and had a nice interior. Whatever staff we interacted with were nice and helpful. The hotel was going through an employee strike. They were severely understaffed which was evident in many ways. The hotel sent an email some days before check in informing us about the strike and what services will not be available during the stay. We decided to move ahead with our reservation and stay at Hilton Quebec because based on the email we decided that we won't be needing these services anyway. However, that email was not full disclosure. They failed to let us know that there will be extremely long wait times at the valet parking due to staff shortage. They also failed to mention a very very important detail. That the employees on strike are standing at the entrance of the hotel making lots and lots of noise. We were greeted by loud trumpets and loud music every time we entered or exited the building. And although they gave us a free upgrade saying that we would not hear the noise in the room, we still could. Not as loud but it was definitely there. This information should have been a part of the email we got informing us about the strike.

Great hotel in Quebec City. It’s located centrally to everything. It’s a short walk to old town tourist area. The rooms are new and clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The check in staff was very friendly and efficient. Parking is around $22 for self park and $33 for valet. Get the higher floor so you can have the view of the lake and the old town area. The only draw back at the time when we were staying there, there was strike by the hotel workers that created quite bit of noise.

The hotel itself isn’t all that bad, but as for the amenities the gym is a real disappointment. They literally shoved a bunch of equipment into a small room. It’s old, doesn’t work that well and is only good for a few cardio machines. It’s disappointing that they don’t have a relationship with the Nautilus Gym next door.

This is a fantastic hotel, and the staff are very friendly. It's in a perfect location for walking to all of the cool spots that this very nice city has to offer. There are many quaint and rustic restaurants with a variety of relatively inexpensive cuisine. The Hilton Quebec also has spectacular views, like the one we had that overlooked the Parliament. We highly recommend this hotel, and we are likely to return despite living in Portland, Oregon on the other side of the coast.

We loved our stay at this Hilton location. The view from our room was great we were on the city side. The room was big and spacious with a great big stand up shower. Very quiet and the staff was very friendly. The only downside was the size of the pool. We didn't use it as it was always packed. It would be nice if they had an evening adult swim.

Absolutely amazing hotel. The lobby is beautiful and has lots of space for waiting or chilling, they have a little small shop inside the hotel as well. The location id great, its close to everything, and with 10 minutes of walking you can get to old Quebec. The rooms are amazing, we had a great view over the city, and the service was fast and good. They have a pool, gym, restaurant, bar and a room with different activities. Overall an amazing experience. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Standard rooms with comfy beds. Lots of plugs and USBs built into outlets. Well lit. Shower only - no baths (we were travelling with young children, so this would've been nice to know). Excellent location. Finally, the staff at the drop-off area was quite pushy for us to get valet service... The gentleman insisted it would take me about 30-35 minutes to drive my car around and into the parking lot because of the traffic, and that valet was worry free and easy (also 50% more costly...) I'm glad i resisted and declined because it took me all of 5 minutes to find the lot and park underground. There is indeed inadequate signage to find the parking and it would almost appear that the Hilton is doing this on purpose. EDIT - the cleaning staff assigned to our room didn't speak any French which was a little odd... But more importantly we got a knock at 810 am on the day of check-out to ask us if we'd be leaving soon. It felt intrusive, made us feel pressured to leave prior to the noon checkout, and was plain unnecessary (8 am?? Come on...) It added to our unease and overall impression that the Hilton's main focus was more about efficiency/profitability than customer satisfaction & well-being.

My family and I were here for 3 nights over a long weekend and it was a fantastic stay. The hotel is clean and very well kept as expected with Hilton standards. They provided a park and play for our toddler which wasn’t the best so we didn’t really use it. The bed was comfortable enough for her to join us. We added the breakfast buffet to our stay and the food was great. There was a nice variety of breads, eggs, sausages, fruits, desserts, smoothies etc. You can tell tell people enjoyed it because there was a 15-20minute wait for sitting each morning. The staff was fantastic. They were very friendly and courteous. My only con is the the valet parking which costs extra always took too long to bring our vehicle up front. Can’t complain as there isn’t really a robust parking space at this hotel. If I were in Quebec, I will stay here again for their hospitality and the it’s central location to the bustling parts of Quebec City

Lovely hotel. Really nice rooms with beautiful view of old town and the river. The room was clean and generally quiet. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Supper at the restaurant was delicious (risotto) and the service was good. The concierge service is impeccable - they made me feel like a queen. The staff were all attentive and friendly despite it being really busy.

Stayed at the Hilton Quebec this past week and it was AMAZING! It has the perfect location, just minutes away from the heart of Old Quebec filled with cobblestone streets and cute cafes. The hotel has incredible amenities with an outdoor heated pool, fitness center and gorgeous bar/dining area in the lobby. The staff was kind, attentive, and the most hospitable. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Quebec! Highly recommend 10/10

The hotel's location is great! The staff is friendly and welcoming. Service provided is amazing. From the Bell Man thay helps with the luggage, Valet service and front desk check in, everyone was nice. The outdoor pool is clean and was open during our winter stay! The gym has what you need for a good workout. Overall satisfied.

The room had great views of the parliament. The windows was big offering unobstructed 180 degree views. If you pay $40 extra per person for the breakfast and happy hour until 10 pm for 23rd floor executive lounge you will get to see more beautiful views of the city. Breakfast in the lounge was OK not extraordinary but good enough to fill you up. You pay for the views. Staff was very nice. Especially at the executive lounge.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is very nice. We came in on a bus off of a cruise ship and we were lined up by the dozens waiting to check in. The staff couldn't have been more courteous or helpful. We had a spectacular river view that included Old Quebec. It was magnificent any time of the day or night. Our room was immaculate and comfortable and the walk to Old Quebec took minutes. We highly recommend the Hilton Quebec.

Very nice, and high end business hotel. Location is faced to old Quebec City. All facilities are new, the view is fabulous. The lobby is very spacious, a lot functions area . Meeting room is spacious, buffet breakfast is good, many choices. Suitable for business or family tour. All service people are nice. Will recommend to friend if they have chance to visit Quebec City.

Very nice and clean. We went with our 2 boys and the room was spacious for a little family. Photos on website are as is. The top roof exterior pool was an amazing addition to our vacation on the hot summer days. The view of the city at night was beautiful! I recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip and was happy with everything overall. Room was clean, and spacious. We were also on a fairly high floor with a nice view. Breakfast was included with my room, but be aware that if your room fare doesn't include it, it will cost you about $40 for a buffet-style breakfast, complete with coffee, juices, meats, salmon, pastries and more. I would stay there again and recommend this hotel if you're travelling.

Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Can walk to see so much, with shops and restaurants of all kinds. Very modern and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are well appointed, clean, and comfortable. 20th floor suite has incredible views, absolutely stunning. Likewise the executive lounge on 23rd has panoramic views. Breakfast and evening snacks in the lounge are great, with cocktail and wine service available for a small charge.

Oh my goodness, to say that this Hilton is gorgeous is an understatement. The view is just to die for. These pictures were taken from our beautiful room, the lobby, or from the 23rd floor executive lounge. The evening views are breathtaking. I cannot say enough good things about everyone. They were so helpful in grabbing us a taxi or making dinner reservations for us as specialty restaurants. Lots of walking can be done from there as it’s nicely located. The Parliament building is right next door and as you can see from the pics, it’s gorgeous at night. You can walk in and go on a self guided tour. I loved everything about this Hilton and will definitely return, God-willing. Thanks to all the staff who were awesome. God bless, everyone.

Great Hotel near Parliament in this amazing city. The old city is a must do if you are in the area. Great restaurants, great shopping and the atmosphere is well "European". We loved this city and stayed in this hotel, pre-cruise for a couple of days in last September 2023. The staff were very nice, and the restaurant was only open limited times. It's clearly a business hotel, and is across from the Convention Centre. We did not find this a hindrance and really enjoyed our stay there. Recommended

Staff members on strike and I only knew after I booked the room. Staff are nice and View is good. However, it is super annoying every time you walk in and out the hotel because people are protesting in front of it and playing loud music from early morning until late night. Hope the hotel resolved it and make a fair decision for their employees. However, I won’t recommend this hotel for now, Restaurant is close, The breakfast is not worth it. Room is clean but i feel like they did the job quickly so you will definitely see some dust. Small stains on the towels. No toothbrush, No comb. No blame on employees that on strike and actually feel bad for them. Most of them are elders and protested in very cold, rainy weather all day. I just disappointed because i came here to celebrate my birthday.

The room was nice, with an excellent view. There was a lot of staff, and we liked that they immediately explained how to get to the underground parking so we didn't have to figure it out ourselves. In the room, everything was clean visually, but the heavy gray curtains were dusty. There's a safe in the room. There's a table and 2 chairs plus an ottoman. There's a fridge for drinks, but it seemed to barely cool in room 1227. Also, there was coffee and tea in the room. The internet is fast in the room. We were slightly surprised that a hotel of this level didn't have vases for flower bouquets. Overall, we liked it, but there's room for improvement.

Wonderful Weekend My family spent Thanksgiving weekend in this extensively renovated hotel, just steps from the old city gates. The recently completed renovations give the hotel a fresh clean look and feel. All of our rooms had a great view of the city, mountains or the river. Although some of the normal services weren't always available due to a strike, the staff did a wonderful job of minimizing this minor inconvenience. Thank you Sylvie and Isabelle for going the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We look forward to our next visit.

A great experience. Hotel delivers in the class that this beautiful city bestows on you. Service was great, staff were attentive and helpful. Rooms were beautifully appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Facilities were nice and kept in good condition. Rooftop pool and sundeck were nice but fairly busy as weather was very hot. The location was tremendous. Just outside the walls of the old city. Walking distance to anyplace. FYI though this hotel is at the top of the hill. It's a downhill walk to basically anywhere which means a steep walk coming back from anywhere. Connected self parking was quick enough and easy. Don't let the valets convince you otherwise. A solid choice in Quebec City.

Great hotel in the city of Quebec. Although not right in the centre it's only a short walk down to the city centre. The views are stunning from the pool terrace. Had a meal in the bar the night we arrived and the chicken burger was fantastic, the bar staff are very knowledgeable about the drinks they serve. Huge room with all amenities you would require.

We were disappointed to arrive at our hotel for our anniversary weekend to find many staff members on strike. There was no restaurant or bar service and no room service. We were not notified of this before our arrival. The noise the strikers made was so obnoxious it made coming and going from the hotel a horrible experience. We weren't able to enjoy the pool as it was only a few floors above the strikers. When I asked why they were on strike I was told the hotel chain was making cuts to their health insurance and pensions. They were asking for it to remain the same. Seems fair enough to me.

In Sept. 2023 we stayed a couple nights in QC before a cruise. I wanted to stay in a boutique hotel within the walled old town, but decided to use my Hilton Points and stay at the Hilton. It turned out it was a fantastic place to stay. Only a block from a gate into the walled city, and the views are spectacular, especially if you can get a room facing the old town / water (corner room even better). The staff was super friendly, and the executive lounge (also with great views) was very pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel with or without a free stay with points! One small suggestion.... would be nice to have a hotel entrance on the building side facing the old city instead of only on the opposite side. Maybe some agreement with the convention center and a marked route for people to enter / exit. Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic location. Close / walking distance to old town. There is also a nearby hip street with restaurants that is equally cool to checkout and convenient for eating. Great view from room, restaurant was great, convenience store has long hours. Only downside is the pool was out of towels when we went and thus we had to walk back to our room sopping wet. Would stay here again.

The location was spectacular! The rooms were a little dated, but housekeeping was on it. The rooftop pool was enjoyable, well maintained, and clean. The bar downstairs was a little slow even though there were few people. The front desk was helpful, but the valets at night were spot on. The valets in the morning were more interested in being bellhops than valets. I called down for my car 30 minutes before I arrived in the lobby, and it still hadn't been brought up.

We had a river view room and was perfect for fireworks on Tuesdays and Thursday in August! Service at front desk was attentive, in particular Michelle, she answered our questions patiently, had warm smile, and provided helpful advice for our visit. We will be back, literally - We decided to stay 1 more night at this hotel due to the good experience. Thanks Michelle and the team!

Booked a room for 3 persons. 1 king bed wasn't going to work. Quickly fixed with a portable bed. Great views, clean room, but a noisy Nespresso coffee maker. After walking all day through the old city, a hot tub would help the sore joints and muscles. Covid restrictions aside, I would come back. Hopefully not waiting 20 years for next visit.

Hotel located right outside of the entrance to the old city. It has a restaurant in the lobby with $36 breakfast buffet or dinner in the evening with a very limited menu. There is a small shop in the lobby with: coffee, sandwiches, pastries, water and snacks. The room was very modern and clean. We had the Parliament view that was very nice. 23rd floor has an executive lounge with an awesome view on the old city. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, there are fireworks on the river. It is nice to see it from the lounge. Service. I know that I should not judge all by one person who not only did not welcome me but was not nice at all. I have Hilton honored for many years. I have another reservation in another Hilton in a few days for 5 nights. I was expecting a warm welcome with a bottle of water that I did not get. When I asked that I need to park my car and I wasn't using valet, she showed me the picture how to get to the garage that covers all street names and did not have address of the garage. I think not having the ability to speak French and refusing the valet parking changed her, and it's not right.

  • 4/5 Lola A. 5 months ago on Google
The lobby area was beautiful, there is a restaurant and a grab and go Cafe which was really helpful as an alternative if you do not want to eat at the restaurants. Apart from that, there are lots of restaurants within a walking distance, especially on rue Saint Jean. The hotel has a good location as it is a walking distance to the via rail station and the cruise port. My room had the parliament view.

Excellent location in the centre of Quebec City and a comfortable stay. Breakfast was disappointing in the Executive Lounge and unlike other Hilton's I have stayed in, no free alcohol. Great views over the city from both our room and the Exec Lounge. Pity they didn't provide umbrellas on the day it rained.

  • 5/5 Kimmy L. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is very clean and looks like it's been updated. Room is good sized for single or couple only but with awesome view of the parliament both day and night simply look out from your window. It's a even better view at the Executive Lounge on 23/F. The hotel is centrally located and is walkable to many places. Services was great. Pablo at the front desk was particularly helpful with great and courteous service. Hilton Quebec is highly recommended.

Nice hotel yet, for an 8 days stay, no housekeeping even when scheduled one mid-vacation. It happened that the housekeepers went on strike the day i needed to redo the room. It is small so I had to make both beds everyday, clean up the bathroom, and so on. Price tag is way too expensive for not having this basic service. I understand that it is Covid yet, not even one cleaning in 8 days, poor service.

  • 5/5 Wei C. 2 years ago on Google
Reasonable price, great view even at the lower floors, room was great and clean. A short walking distance to old Quebec city was very nice. Only thing was the parking, around the back and not free, but only a minor inconvenience. We'll be back next time!

Room was beautiful and clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect.. a 10 minute walk to the water. The best part (well as far as my kids are concerned) is the rooftop pool. Amazing view, tons of seating & a poolside bar. Highly recommend.

  • 3/5 Paul T. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is conveniently located by many of the city's main tourist destinations. Since everything is within walking distance, I would suggest leaving your car parked for the full duration of your stay. Self parking with no in and out privileges is $22 per night. Getting to the lot is a bit awkward. Accessing your vehicle directly from the hotel lobby via elevator was decent. As others have mentioned, the views from the higher floor rooms, either mountain, parliament or river, are spectacular. We stayed in Room 1928 overlooking the city and mountains. The breakfast from the restaurant in lobby was a great experience. Our waiter was pleasant, accommodating and funny. The kids enjoyed the outdoor heated pool on the 3rd floor. There were some minor hiccups ( no toilet paper in bathroom and lack of vending machines ) that were quickly resolved at the front desk. While the overall trip was very pleasant and we plan to visit Quebec City in the future, the trip ended on a sour note when we were woken up in the early hours of our last day at the hotel by a strike staged directly in front of the hotel entrance by staff who work within the hotel. Due to the strike, we were unable to enjoy a nice quiet breakfast before our departure as the restaurant was closed. The noise from the picketers persisted until we checked out.

The suite room I got is very nice for couples. The bathroom is a bit on the small side especially if you have small kids. Service is slow. I used the app to request items but they were slow to bring the items up. There's once that it took more than an hour. The bathroom sink wasn't perfectly clean when I first got the room. I guess housekeeping was too busy with the extra cleaning during covid? Location is good as it's walking distance to old Quebec and major attractions. However, hotel is on top of the Hill which means walking back to the hotel can be exhausting. Self Parking is okay but better signs are needed. This hotel definitely got the views that everyone loves if you are willing to pay for it. Hilton needs to work on the app for room guest communication. I tried a different hotel's app and they were much better.

We picked the rooms with the city view which are the opposite side of the river side. So far the hotel is great, comfortable beds, connecting rooms options and your stay includes warm pool, sauna, and gym. Enough space your group of family or friends. No room service due to covid, but thts okay. Of your planning to explore quebec city. This hotel is perfect to explore the city and it's 7 mins walks for any good restaurants, city views and I do not recommend to drive near downtown is really difficult to go around. So instead get a room near by and walk!.

I was charged for three days of valet parking despite not parking a car at the facility in a Quebec City location. No one has responded to my email inquiry of why those charges exist nor has a refund been issued. Hotel itself was fine.

For my birthday my girlfriend decided to take me there. I give my car to the valet around 3. At 11 one hour before my birthday I get a call from the hotel saying: we’re so sorry sir we hit your car. I come back to the hotel they’re all so nice and everything we’ll help you we’ll pay it don’t worry . I go back to Montreal and suddenly no more answers from them for about 10 days and when they finally answer oh we’re sorry you can call your insurance and deal with them. Very not professional and they lied to me and didn’t even give me anything to compensate and now I’m stuck to deal with this alone because all of them lied to my face saying we’ll pay for it don’t worry . Anyways thank you

There would have been more stars, but local circumstances led to situation where I was very disappointed and all this came up only at the front desk. I understand and agree that staff do have right to fight for their rights, but for me, after two years of covid restrictions bring able to travel (internationally) for business and heading in the middle of strike does not sound right. There was no food, no service... Reception did their best. All points for them!

I have always loved Hilton. However the trip at Hilton Quebec was not a good experience. The staff were on strike, so they made really loud noise outside of the entrance. There was no room service either. All the restaurants and bars were closed. There was no reason for us to stay inside the hotel. The front desk was very nice and gave us a clean room. He told us we could ask for clean towels if needed. We understood it was unfortunate that strike happened during our stay, but thought Hotel could really have done something different to make us feel appreciated, such as nearby restaurant coupon, free dry clean service etc.

It was nice hotel and great location. In early Feb 2022, the hotel staff itself was on strike. Very little services available. I'd recommend calling first to ask if the strike is still ongoing and if the hotel restaurants are important... Roof top heat pool was available and fun!

Great hotel!! Location is 10 minutes walk from the historic area or 15-20 minutes walk uphill from the train/bus station. Amazing views, great breakfast. Rooms had a nice design. Friendly staff but the lobby can be busy at time with tour groups. Would gladly stay again. They should switch to bulk toiletries to be more environmentally friendly.

The location of this hotel is just perfect for exploring Old Quebec. Within a few walking minutes you have all kinds of cafes, bars and restaurants. The hotel bar has nice comfy seating and friendly staff. I tried their spritz cocktail and it was tasty. The complimentary breakfast at the downstairs restaurant was good with a lot of different choices. We had a standard king room. It was smallish but clean and well kept. We had a great view of the river (room 1810)

We stayed at the Hilton Quebec the last weekend and had a wonderful experience. It is at a very convenient location, within easy walking distance to vibrant areas in old Quebec. The rooms were very clean and well laid out. Services were great throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding; the food selections and their quality were better than most Hilton's in North America that we have stayed at. (And we have stayed at many.)

Arrival and check in was seamless. Employees speak both English and French. We were given an early check in, which was wonderful as we arrived around 1 pm. It is an easy walk to Old Quebec City. We paid extra for a Parliament view and we could also see the fort and Old Quebec City! The pool is outdoors and very warm. We stopped in at the stop and go in the hotel and bottles of wine were around $60. Food was also expensive. We took a 5-10 minute walk to the store and paid $32 for two bottle of wine. We then crossed the street to the mart and picked up some snacks are much better prices. Overall the stay was great!

For a very expensive four star hotel, I had expected more service. It started with a message that I could check in, but while trying to check-in online, I could not get the room with Queen two beds that I had reserved and paid for. I was upgraded to a junior suite, but with only one bed. And I had specifically reserved a room with two Queen beds since I was travelling with a colleague and we don't share a bed. And when I see the comments in other reviews, not getting the reserved room seems to be a regular occurrence, so they are not learning from previous mistakes. If you change the number of beds in a reservation, you should always check with the guest if that is alright first. Then upon check in in the hotel, only two out of six terminals at the reception were open while there was a long queue. So, that resulted in a twenty minute wait. If there is a long queue more staff should attend or, if not available, the manager should step in behind the desk. A long wait for the elevators as well. The room was nice with everything a traveller needs. The standard of housekeeping was sufficient, although there still was dust on the desk after the cleaning. The outdoor heated pool is a plus. But overall, this hotel is to expensive for what it offers compared to other hotels in the area.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff and great service. Clean and very accessible to Old Town. Only problem was the temperature in the room. It was very warm and when we called down to lobby they said the A/C isn’t turned on because it’s winter. So basically they don’t let you have any say over your temperature comfort. Too hot in winter. I’m sure you can’t call the temperature shots in summer either.
