Not too impressed. Rooms are renovated esthetically but need more work. Hallways are dingy and smell musty. My child was in the shower (Room 229) and the manager knocked on our door and told him he has to get out because our shower was leaking into the room below ours. Now we can not have a shower and they never offered to switch our rooms. Housekeeping never came even though we were here for 2 nights. Very disappointed considering how much the rooms are per night.

Clean room, nice indoor pool. Cool Murphy beds for the 2nd bed, pretty comfy. Bathroom with glass doors, not practical. Needs more storing places for clothes inside the room. The brunch was delicious and 15$-20$ per adult

Hotel staff was rude everywhere. Whether it was the lifeguard at the pool or the many people working the reception, they were all rude and didn’t care to cater to anyone. We had a group of 20 families staying at the hotel and we all hated our experience there. Yes the pool area is pretty but that’s all you’ll get there. Worst experience ever. Plus they charged us For an extra night when we told them 2 days prior that we wanted to check out One day earlier. They didn’t respect the group contract, made everyone pay their full stay when they checked in. Worst experience ever. I would stay away. I’d give it a 0 stars if I could!

Service is terrible. Nevermind the service.the attitude from all staff is disgusting. The person next to our room was also having loud music at 10pm and they never went to tell them anything. I had to personally go knock on the door twice and ask them to be respectful. All parents share similar experiences. Never giving them business that’s for sure.

Hotel was a unique experience with the tropical atrium and large gold fish living in a natural habitat with a nice balcony over looking it all. The pool however could be bit larger but the water was a nice temperature. The room itself had a very comfortable bed and provided a good nights sleep however it was lacking a USB outlet to charge devices, the wi-fi was also sub standard and the bathroom was dated with a shower head that was old and didn't spray too well. The breakfast at the Les Palms restaurant was very good, however the nachos I ordered in the evening for $18 was too small a portion for the price and it was a little burnt. Did like the amenities included the onsite bar lounge, restaurant, pool, hot tub and interesting atrium with tropical vacation vibe.

We stayed 3 nights and paid more each night that the night before even though we had a confirmation for $149 per night. 2nd night was $169 and 3rd night was $249. Desk clerk could do nothing as all billing is done by administration centrally. Still fighting but since it's french there are language barriers. Avoid this and all Jaro group hotels even if you have a confirmation

The pool is excellent. My kids enjoyed it. The pool area is very beautiful. Fells like you are in a cruise :) . The room was good, spacious, with mini fridge, coffee maker. The AC was really noisy. I couldn’t sleep well (room 142). The check in is too late, 5 pm (and checkout at 11am). I found it very unpleasant.

Came with my 5 kids. Had a horrible experience. Renovated rooms looked pretty in pictures but not great in real life. Musty smelling hallways. Horrible manager, not accommodating to our complaint and gave attitude, speaking with her co-worker in french with us standing there about the situation while we are only English speaking. 50% chance you will get a room overlooking the pool area So keep that in mind if booking. Of course our two rooms were overlooking the parking lot. Just a real disappointment for the high cost. 1600$ for 2 rooms, 2 nights. No breakfast included. The cleaning staff didn't make up beds between nights. No fresh towels, no made beds. No new cups. For the cost I'd have expected to get fresh towels at least. I'd definitely not book here next visit to Quebec. On the plus side, staff at restaurant was excellent. Food was good. Other front desk employees were pleasant and helpful.

Do you enjoy practically hearing your room neighbors’ thoughts while trying to have a relaxing time away for work? This is the place for you. If you enjoy being woken up at 7:30am by maintenance vaccuming outside your door, you’ll love this place. Briefly, if you just wanted a place to stay with peace and quiet, so you googled “spa hotel” please do yourself a favor and stay in any other hotel down the street. I checked in and nobody explained to me that there would be a patio door immediately giving out to the restaurant right from my room? This is unusual and I had quite the surprise upon arrival. I asked to change rooms and they told me I had to do so before noon, which did not at all coincide with my work schedule therefore I was stuck in the one I had. The entire place reeks of chlorine, so if you like having to pay for breakfast with the wafts of the pool during your meal, this place is right up your alley. There were stains on the floor from the previous guests that were not cleaned, the bathrooms are extremely outdated. Overall an unpleasant experience, and I still have one unfortunate night to go. Hopefully this incites staff to allow me to change rooms.

Our family enjoyed so much the Christmas holiday here. Excellent customer service, helpful, flexible and kind. Great breakfast, healthy options and tasty fresh fruits. Thank you for offering bus tickets so don't need to drive to downtown. We definitely visit again.

I had a booking issue very last minute and the manager, Ms King was absolutely incredible and helped me find alternative options. She was extremely accommodating, responsive and kind to work with. Thank you again!

Rude Staff! Avoid this hotel if you’re a non french speaker! Breakfast staff was so rude. Went down to order coffee and the guy started answering us in French. Told him sorry we can’t speak french and he still kept answering back in french. Went to reception to complain and was so surprised as he was able to speak English magically when called out by his supervisor. I guess they didn’t want our money for breakfast so went to a Mcdonalds nearby instead where we got way better service.

We were on our 21st anniversary we decided to try a hotel in quebec city. First it was OK. I was very impressed with the outlook of the establishment pool is in middle, hottub. Which I used. Pool flooring was not suitable tiles were coming off the pool flooring. We needed ask more pillows. Bed hard, pay for our breakfast. It was a trial I don't think we would go back. Evening was rather noisy.

Chekin time is too late, 5pm !!!! Checkout time is too early, 11 am. The stuff insist that you leave on time !!!! Do you think you have enough time to enjoy the stay such as swimming, doing some exercises, play games, etc .... especially when you are with children ?!!! No elevators, have to deal with stairs !!! No accessible for elders !!! Common area without air conditioning !!! In terms of quality and price, it is too expensive ! I won't go back there anymore !!!

Loved the place and found it to be a great value. Up to date rooms, balcony into a tropical area. The pool was great and relatively quiet. Bilingual menues would have been great, but not a big deal. Will go back.

Bed is hard as a rock, room looks messy. We had a passing of a family member during our stay and had to leave earlier than anticipated and the receptionist did not even bother trying to refund a part of my stay nor compensate us. Didn’t even seem to care that we lost someone

Ever wonder what a great hotel that gets details wrong feels like? We’ll here’s your chance. Got a two bed room , second bed did not have enough blankets, fancy shower head that couldn’t be held ended up spraying the ceiling and glass door to the bathroom that’s doesn’t lock so your entire family can smell your brand., sweet little pond and waterfall that just make enough noise to keep you up all night.,all for 280$ per night! And if you go to Quebec during construction holidays you are forced to rent for two nights….yay said no one ever….I see the appeal of buying a 100k truck to pull a 60k camper now….

We reserved a room for two night with the inside balcony but they stuck us in the room with zero balcony it’s not very pleasant I must say ! Will probably never return and never recommend .

Horrible service at the hotel! You will not be able to find anyone to do anything or to answer questions about your stay. And if you do they don't know anything! Stay away! But... restaurant and bar staff are nice!

I stayed here for a Sunday through Wednesday. I found that the place was actually very clean. The room was very comfortable, and well appointed. I had an inside facing room at the far end and found the only slightly annoying issue was the smell of the pool for 5 minutes upon arrival, and then goes away. During the week I heard no music playing and honestly the only real noise if you want to call it that was the two rooms next to me got together with some wine at a table and chatted till maybe 11pm. Restaurant food was very good, but post Covid expensive. Not unique to this place. Overall the place was very nice and for the price I was very happy. Like many have notes, it is a family type hotel and as such kids and kid sounds. Maybe there could be some kind of effort put into a segregation of kids and adults only but all in all, if you book at a place with an indoor resort feeling, don't complain that the place has indoor resort clients. Lastly as for honesty, I had a bunch of pro photo equipment with me, and I follow standard smart travel advice. The room is locked and no service sign left out. And when leaving, I check everywhere, because there are lots of steps from the room to the car, and like it or not, some folks may not have my morals, places try their best, no one wants to have thieves on staff, but some do... Until they are caught.

Me and my family looked at the pictures and thought it was fancy. We walked in our room and it was dirty and the pillows were YELLOW. The only thing that was looking like the pictures was the pool.

I stayed there for 2 weeks their staff are THIEVES. I called literally less than an hour after I checked out to advised them that I forgot my expensive blow dryer and described it precisely. they said they found it and will keep it for me. I went back to get it and they had a cheap blow dryer not at all what I described and it’s been 2 weeks they are giving me the run around saying someone will call me back and nobody does. I am disgusted of how they are not taking my complaint seriously and they keep repeating sorry we can’t do anything for you. Still waiting for someone to call me back!!!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!! C’est des VOLEURS!!!!

We had the modern room with exterior view. Good ambiance. Firm mattress and fluffy pillow made for good sleep. Spacious bathroom. Loved the shower. My girls loved the pool. Given that it was COVID time, I understand housekeeping would not be done regularly. However, they at least need to put bigger garbage cans or make it a point to at least change the garbage daily in order to avoid calls to change it. Would come back. 2nd hotel of this chain that I have gone to (the other was Must) and haven't been disappointed!

We booked the Empire Suite for a night as a treat thinking that we would be in a quiet part of the hotel. There is a steep 500$ deposit that is required in case anything is broken. We had not been told beforehand but were able to fork it out. The employee that greeted us was very courteous and professional. Before going to our room we were greeted with running children in the halls and then noticed all the trash bags lining it which was a huge turn off. Once we got to the room we were charmed by the decor even if we could hear the children running in the hall outside, they would be in bed soon enough. The room was clean and just like the pictures on the booking website. Then we heard children crying as if they were in the room with us! We noticed a door that is most probably adjoining to the next room but it is right next to the bed! I was hoping for a quiet baby but also I was afraid of making too much noise on my side. In the morning at 5am I was awaken by a screaming child, like someone was torturing the poor thing. So I decided to get up and make coffee but nope! There was only tea! Go back to bed... And the screams continued for another 2hrs... This suite's theme is not in keeping with the hotel's family oriented activities at all. Had we of known, we would not have booked here. On the other hand the mattress was heavenly!

On our arrival , The room was filthy even tho it was suppose to be clean and disinfected, strange smells from the mattress. Mattress covers only 60% of the bed, We found bunch of hair from the previous customers, floor/mattress ect. VERY noisy hotel and many kids running and yelling everywhere until 02:00. Our room service food was good for the price.

This is only about the room, Broken Light,Crack on wall, some stains,No bath when we asked for one (Picture showed there was a bath),dirty floors,Water shoots out of the sides of the sinks. Other then that it looks nice in a looks way and has a big desk. There is no housekeepers bc of covid.

1st the pros: Lovely place, huge parking lot & plenty of space for buses. Nice ambiance with a deck to your room & food is good but expensive. The service is impeccable and friendly. Now the cons: It's a family place. Kids, kids & kids all over. Kids being kids, it's not a quiet place. From 9 am till 9pm it's non stop plus you have kids running in hallways. It's a 2 to 3 level place depending where you are and there's no elevators. Now since it's such a humongous place, be prepared to walk, a lot...

Beautiful hotel! I only wish we'd arrived earlier to take full advantage of the pool and indoor patios. Thankfully the woman working at the desk spoke wonderful English, which ended a long day of travel much nicer.

Swimming pool area was great. We enjoined the evening there. Rooms were okay, but require upgrade. Beds were comfortable. Dinner in restaurant was good (the ribs and seafood pasta were really good). Breakfast left the mixed feelings. Food was good and waitress Carol (sorry if I misspelled the name) was friendly and professional. But other waitresses were not. Two of us people came asked if we could order for party of 5 immediately (we need to leave the hotel as soon as possible) but they refused to take an order and said that we can do it only for when all 5 people would be here. And then they were giving us nasty looks an especially friendly when spoke to us. That was not nice. Then came Carol and everything went well. Overall it was a good experience,

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We stayed for 2 nights. The garden view off our balcony was really nice. Their gardens are very well maintained. The restaurant on site is very good. We enjoyed a show on the Saturday of our stay. I would definitely go back again!

What a great surprise this hotel was. Fly in from Toronto to Quebec city and $16 taxi ride to this gem of a spot. Take an inside room overlooks the indoor garden area and wonderful restaurant. Rooms offer indoor patios to relax and listen to music. Wine on the patio and enjoying good food with great service. Makes this hotel a 10!

The front desk took care of us considering our understanding with lack of French (on us) and early arrival. They were nice with all the questions we asked. The bartender was excellent and quick with drink, service, and food. The atmospheree was very nice. Rooms were clean but could use updating. Only negative was no wakeup call for either room was given and could have caused an issues.

PS: reply to hotel , This is not the first time stop making a copy paste reply and do nothing about it!! After 3 years I decided to try your hotel again, because I always liked your restaurant and atrium. Nothing has changed maybe even worse! The condition and filth in room 166 was the most disgusting thing I had ever seen, walls had drip marks on it right next to the bed, floors were filthy sliding doors glass was so gross! I took pictures and asked that they change my room which they did. After Covid you would think that your hotel would understand the importance to clean rooms well ! After showing the condition of the room I found that your staff didn't take this seriously, further more the room new room #180 was not as disgusting but pretty bad. The chair had something like a cup of coffee was spilled on it and the cleaning staff just left it there , I found myself taking a towel to clean the nastiness off. The least your hotel should have done would have been to offer a discount for the troubles or a upgraded room. but as I mentioned your staff couldn't care less. As it stands I will be placing the the pictures and reviews online on TripAdvisor and google reviews, because I find that in this day and age it was unacceptable.

The hotel is definitely not what it use to be,, as we have stayed there many times while visiting family and never had a problem at the restaurant,, speaking English and not French does not mean we should be neglected while trying to have a meal at the restaurant not only did it happen at dinner which omg!!!!!! Brutal but for breakfast as a second chance was just as appalling sorry to say!!!!! Next time we will be looking for maybe a friendly staffed restaurant and hotel
