Great location, walking distance from everything in the old city. A bit dated with limited amenities but good value for money. The staff was very helpful to provide directions and advices about what to see.

For the price and the location this place is perfect! We had a nice simple room right in the middle of the old town, and they had easy place to park short-term for unloading our stuff and provided tickets for a nearby parking garage for the duration of our stay. The people who run this place are super helpful - we left some things behind and they very kindly mailed them to us (we paid for the shipping, obviously).

As the saying goes you get what you pay for. The location is unreal surrounded by hotels 2-6x the price and all the attractions one could want. I wish I was aware that my room had a shared bathroom but I didn’t mind too much considering the price, what I did mind heavily is the lack of a sink in the bathroom and only available in the room. This means one has to use their dirty hands to touch both the bathroom handle and the room handle, this is the reason behind the 4/5 stars instead of a 5/5, at least some sanitizer would be nice. Nevertheless the location and price makes me easily recommend staying here for anyone hoping to take an affordable vacation to one of the oldest cities in the continent, would visit again.

Very nice. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. A bit dated, but that didn't affect my comfort level. A smart tv would be a great move though as the English speaking channels are very few.

It's not a 5⭐️ hotel. But for a short stay in Quebec ,value for the money. The staff were friendly and very welcoming.

Simple, spacious and clean room with double Queen beds, perfect for my family with 2 young kids! So perfectly located and with kind, charming staff who gave us great recommendations of how best to spend our time. Note there aren't any elevators and rooms are accessed by steps.

Terrible! Dirty and outdated. We payed a lot of money so I thought I would at least get something clean. The bathroom door doesn’t close which is a nice feature when you are in the middle of your business and the door swings open. Omg why in the world would anyone give this hotel more than one star!!!

Friendly and helpful receptionist, great location. We had a large room, which was clean.

The room was not as advertised. We got put on the top floor where the furniture is old and we had to share a bathroom (the toilet is small and have weak flush as well). If you are in the lower floor it should be fine but the upper floor rooms are run down and horrible.

Very close to all the cool stuff in downtown, clean. Bad thing: lack of outlets

Had a great stay here for one night. Quaint, rustic rooms, friendly service, fantastic location in the heart of Quebec City. Be warned, there are no elevators and the access to the rooms can be tight.

Good sized room, very clean. Nice to have a small fridge in the room. Interesting view of some old world buildings. The only drawback was being up on the 3rd floor and climbing the winding stairs. Friendly staff answered all my questions most helpfully.

Very charming hotel in the heart of it all. Comfortable bed, charming decor in room, new furnishings. And restaurants in neighboring buildings. A little gift shop on the ground floor when you check-in.

I only spent one night at this hotel but had a great time. Everything was clean and very old (which I was expecting). The windows were amazing, there was enough space at the window to sit down and drink your morning coffee. The people were very friendly and well presented. I recommend this hotel to everyone who loves staying at old looking hotels with great services! This hotel is very close to a great breakfast restaurant called La Buche! So worst it, and actually affordable!

I love the area where the hotel is located! I love the fact that there is free parking! The service is great and the room was big. Please do not expect some fancy amenities but expect great service from the staff, and the experience of being in Old Quebec. Bring your own hair dryer since they do not have it there. I will be back

Location is the only feature of this hotel. Very outdated and no sign of a good maintenance of this property. Yes, it's historical sites, still with some investments it could be a jewel. Mattress is very old, not sure if that type still exist. Needless to say that there was no cleaning services during our 4 nights stay. No one told us about it, so no towels change. Keep in mind that reception is not 24 hours if you arriving late.

Hotel le Cavalier du Moulin was clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room was very affordable. We had room 4 which was a Superior Queen room. It had an ensuite bathroom with the shower in the bedroom. The receptionist was friendly with plenty of suggestions as to where to go and where to eat. The location is superb. Highly recommend.
