A lovely sweet little hotel with parking inside the old city walls, for less than $200/n! You can't do better than this place. An incredible value! It's a sweet, super clean, maybe 6 or 8 room hotel on a tiny little "ruelle" side street behind the Ursuline Convent. An additional mini apartment is in a separate building across the street. A 5 min walk to the Château Frontenac, rue St. Jean restaurants, and the National Congress Centre. It's in the centre of everything. This is not a "generic" hotel by any means. It's décor is vintage and, imo, very stylish. It reminds me of hotels in Paris. A narrow circular staircase leads to the rooms. A microwave, dishes and cutlery are available on each floor. Our room, 21, was small, but perfect for 2 people. The room was super clean. The ensuite bathroom had a shower/tub. The tv and air conditioning worked perfectly. A mini fridge and keurig were great additions. The queen bed was firm and incredibly comfortable. The window faced the interior courtyards and the fire escape (which are essential living spaces in Quebec!), full of flowers and hanging strawberries. I can't say enough about this hotel. I highly recommend it and hope I get to stay there again soon!

Charming hotel in the heart of old Quebec. Petite, yes, however our family of five were very comfortable. Close to everything - only a 1 minute walk to our favourite restaurant (Bello). We look forward to returning - Merci 😊

This place was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway to QC — such a gem with friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was simple, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The location absolutely cannot be beat — it's located on a beautiful and quiet little side street, yet is just minutes' walk from all the must-see spots in the historic walled part of the city. The on-site parking was also incredibly convenient and super reasonably priced. They even let us extend our parking a few hours after checkout at no charge, which was so generous of them and really helped us out a lot. Highly recommend!

This hotel is so cute. Superclean!! Kudos for the cleaning staff. They have all the basic amenities. The best part is it’s very quiet and close to all major tourist locations like within 10 mins of walking distance. They have on site parking at reasonable price. There are plenty of eating options nearby. Staff is really helpful.

A great little quaint spot in a prime location of Quebec city. The hotel sits right in the middle of the main strip, it’s clean, and run by kind people. No complaints!

Location and price were amazing. Was worried that the older building would feel kind of dinky and/or unsafe as I’ve had this experience in the past with “location and price are amazing” hotels, but it really didn’t. Highly recommend.

Fantastic value in the heart of Old Quebec! The owner was friendly and thoughtful and went out of his way to make our stay an excellent one. Our very clean room was a bit small, however it didn't lack anything we required and the washroom looked newly refurbished. Additionally, the onsight parking for $10/day was an added bonus.

I came here with my mother and boyfriend for a brief four night visit, and I can honestly say this hotel gave me a reason to return. Even taking away the spot's ideal location in the center of old Quebec and their spacious and clean rooms, the concierge/manager/owner's kindness (he might be all 3) deserves a shout out. A great value for money find that restores my faith in Canada's local hotel industry.

It is a cute little hotel in Old Town very close to all the attractions. Dufferin terrace is just a 5 min walk from here. There are many restaurants in the adjacent street. The furnishings are dated and there is a steep staircase to get to the upper rooms with no elevator. There is a small parking area beside the hotel building. We could leave our bags with the receptionist before checkin and after checkout.

Au Petit Hotel hit the spot with my expectations! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay delightful. The magical architecture of the hotel made it even more charming✨ The location was the best thing about this hotel😊 The room was comfortable but a bit dark because we were on the first floor. The room had everything except sleepers for bath so you might want to bring them. A perfect choice for a memorable stay in the city. Highly recommended!

Great little hotel. Very affordable, good parking for only 10$ a day, amazing location, very clean and quiet. There is no elevator, so you have to be mobile enough to go up stairways. Highly recommend.

The building maybe a bit old but i would recommend them as they have clean rooms, with parking spaces too. Very accommodating staffs. Price is budget friendly Knowing that the location is perfectly near all the tourist spots. If i would go back I'd be here everytime Its just that this winter holiday they're fully booked 😅 But we'll come back

Rooms are tiny but well kept and have everything you might need. Walking distance from lots of restaurants and the boardwalk area. Affordable parking available on site. Would definitely stay again!

This little red hotel situated closed to all the main sites. There were 3 of us and we all found it very charming, clean and comfortable. The water in the showers was hot, the front desk reception, Jonathan, was friendly and helpful and there is parking available. This is the second time I have stayed here and highly recommend it.

What an amazing find! The Hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. The owner is so friendly & welcoming - even helped us when our car had a dead battery! Loved every second of our stay in Old Quebec! Thank you Jonathan - I can't wait to come back!

The hotel is located in upper town and very central to attractions and restaurants. There was on site parking at a reasonable price. While petite as the hotels name indicates, it is cute and charming. Our room had a great layout which gave the two of us enough space to spread out our stuff. There was even a mini fridge and a Keurig inside the room. There was also AC. Overall we enjoyed our stay quite a lot and would recommend this hotel. The only downside is there is no elevator so you will need to carry luggage up fairly narrow stairs.

This was a perfect hotel for my budget conscious family. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The location was fantastic for exploring Vieux Quebec. The price was great for the service provided. The parking fee provided peace of mind for just $10. My wife and I stayed in the garden unit which was very private and very clean. There were some small irregularities that you might expect from a 2 star hotel. For example, the front door sticks a bit so you have to pull it tight when you leave. There is a tiny chip in the bath tub enamel. And the room is compact compared to hotel rooms many Americans might be accustomed to. If you want luxury, you are welcome to spend five times as much on a room at the Chateau Frontenac. As for me, I plan to stay at Au Petit Hotel next time I am in town.

Immaculately clean hotel and rooms at very good price. Parking available on site at reasonable rate. It’s within walking distance to all the tourist locations in upper and lower town. So many options nearby for food(famous restaurants at walkable distance). The staff is really helpful. The hotel has all the basic amenities.

Cozy, homey, and comfortable. Located on a quiet dead-end street, close to everything you want to see in Old Quebec. Family owned and operated, and living on site. Very clean property. Second time staying here and will hopefully be back.

Incredibly cute and quaint hotel in the heart of Old Quebec. Friendly staff. Clean, smallish rooms. Located on a safe side street next door to everything you'll want to see. If you are looking for a budget friendly European experience, this hotel is for you. Large windows in every room. No elevator for those with mobility issues.

A cute little hotel in Old Quebec on a very quiet street within minutes of walking distance from the main attractions. Parking is very inexpensive and it is on site which is not found very often. Rooms are ok nothing spectacular. Cean and tidy. Friendly staff.

Very good. Service is great. Rooms are big enough but just. Location is fantastic. The only nit is that the stairs to the rooms are narrow and a bit steep.

  • 5/5 Osman S. 2 years ago on Google
It has a antique vibe to it with location in the heart of old Quebec city. They also have their own small parking lot which was very convenient considering how difficult it is to find parking in the old city. We had comfortable stay with everything within walking distance.

Awesome cute hotel! Retro hotel, petit but tidy! House cleaning service is amazing. Staffs are friendly and room is clean. Has parking right behind the hotel. The hotel is on a quite little street but super close to old town, walkable to all major sight seeing places and lots of good restaurants nearby! Reasonable price. Would go back!
